Room and hotel very tastefully decorated. The staff is very courteous and professional, from the receptionists to the housekeeping staff. The wellness and spa area is also recommended.
The hygiene concept has been implemented very well at the moment. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and the half-board with a 5-course menu in the evening pampers the palate. Big compliments to the whole team! Simply a hotel to feel good!

October 2018: I decided at short notice (1 day before) to spend a few days there. It was not a problem. I also got dates for massages, which were of course really great. Nice wellness area. The room was clean and the food alot and delicious. Of course, there was a lot to discover in the area. Definitely again :)

Like last time the room was very clean. The ladies at the review are very friendly and responsive. The food is excellent and you will definitely be full.

Roast meat is very good, as well as the venison medallions super flavored good sauce and good fried tender meat, but everything could be a bit warmer. Therefore only 4 stars. The staff is friendly and asks a short time after the food delivery if everything fits, which also makes a positive impression.

Less suitable for day spa mini locker, no own changing room, no storage space. Much better with hotel accommodation. No outdoor pool. Bad air inside and extremely warm. Staff all very bored and you felt overwhelmed. The treatments in the SPA, on the other hand, were ultimately outstanding at Renate & Kerstin. Great class
Was a good day but not to be repeated for the DaySpa. The decor is partly very dated but very clean. The breakfast was very nice, the snack was ok after a long wait.
There is a 1.35 m pool & 2 Finn saunas, a herb, a textile & a steam bath. All relatively small but good to use on Saturday, little going on despite holidays.

Top location, friendly service, great wellness offers and fine food. The Berwanger Hof is always worth a trip. And thanks to a well thought-out hygiene concept, even in times of corona.

We did not sleep there because we came to the area. But what I can recommend to all is the breakfast buffet. There is plenty of choice. Home-made jam. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will be back

Tomorrow we have our last day of our almost 1-week vacation here at the Berwanger Hof and we are therefore very sad.

The hotel is great, great location, beautiful rooms, good food, modern wellness / spa area with a wide range of offers and, above all, super friendly and courteous service.

Pleasant atmosphere - despite Corona rules.

The feel-good hotel is spread over a total of 3 properties. If you do not live in the main building, you have to go across the street. Location (very quiet), equipment and food correspond to the 4-star standard. The renovated rooms with a separate bathroom with extraordinary lighting and sound are very nice. The toilet is separate, that's good. Beds are okay, as are the additional equipment with a desk, couch and flat screen TV. Nothing is missing, as a welcome you will find 1 bottle of water in the room. The spa impresses with various options and offers. Swimming pool is not huge, but sufficient if not all guests come at once. Saunas, infrared cabin, relaxation options, everything is there. However, it is difficult to book treatments at short notice because of the high occupancy rate (also for guests who do not live in the house). So it's best to make reservations in advance.
For the award of full points, however, there are some things that could be improved. The guests are welcomed in a friendly manner, but the hosts, who apparently place great value on their "family business", are noticeably reserved. It is easy to mistake the boss for the caretaker, his sister for a waitress who is under pressure and his wife for an employee. That could easily be represented better if you wanted to. Noticeable that this seems to work with regular guests.
After the greeting, the guest is pretty much alone and has to drag himself away with his luggage. No help is offered.
There is no information beyond the daily house report (in the form of a small newspaper). A welcome evening did not take place because the strength for the bar was sick.
No information was given about this, and adequate compensation for this non-granted benefit was brusquely rejected. The circumstance seemed almost embarrassing when the landlord asked the guests involved after a nearly 2-hour tour through the house - with an explanation of the technology and employee situations - if they wanted to have another drink. This was answered in the affirmative and each of the only 5 guests ordered a drink. However, this was not for the account of the house, but the boss had nothing more urgent to do, i.e. to book this round to the respective room account of the participants. There is simply a lack of tact here.
Finally, a comment on the service. Unfortunately, the hotel and catering industry have long been struggling with difficulties in this sector. This is also the case at the Berwanger Hof. Some of the service staff were extremely friendly and tried hard, even a few
Minutes to talk, but it quickly became apparent that there was a sick leave which was making things problematic. Thus, assistants appeared who neither wanted to (could) say the time of day and the food and drinks to be delivered "slammed" on the table without addressing the guests or even pouring them. The restaurant manager goes into the cellar to laugh, while the landlady can turn on a non-binding smile at the push of a button, but that doesn't really resonate at the other end.
However, one could be extremely satisfied with the cleaning staff for the room. Thorough work was done here in every respect.

Great 4 star hotel in a quiet location. Here relaxation and recreation is guaranteed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The wellness area and the massages are great. Everything is clean and well maintained. The hotel is cozy but also modern. The breakfast buffet and the 5-course dinner in the evening are great. The desserts are always very creative and well presented. The Berwanger Hof you can definitely recommend.

The price / performance ratio was not right for me. The room furniture was very old. Also it was (it was Sunday) already at 8 o'clock loudly vacuumed in the hall and breakfast gabs only until 10 o'clock. Overall, I was rather disappointed considering the room rate.

Was as a child with my parents several times in Berwang to ski inclusive ski school ...... would like to repeat it over Christmas

It's been a while since we spent our vacation in this beautiful house. But it still sticks in our minds. We had booked an arrangement and what can you say: It was great! The evening menu was a dream and the breakfast buffet simply incomparable! Super nice and attentive staff. The room was beautifully spacious, bright and squeaky clean with a beautiful view from the cozy balcony. Thank you for a wonderful couple of days. We will be back!

We spent a wonderful 3-generation family vacation in the Berwanger Hof. My over 80 in-laws have occupied a double room, we stayed with our two children (6 and 8) in a family room. We were all thrilled with the warm atmosphere and the hospitality. We felt after a short time "as with friends", were spoiled with culinary and could enjoy our holidays to the fullest. The rooms are spacious and lovingly furnished and both SPA area and restaurant were extensively used by us. We are determined to become regulars. Many thanks to the whole team and the Berwanger family.

One thing in advance: The Corona rules still allow casual interaction, one-way traffic, gloves once at the buffet, permanently assigned seats, if you stick to them, you still have a very nice stay that brings hardly any restrictions. Thanks for that.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and stayed in the annex. The location and facilities of the hotel leave little to be desired. But it is not a pure wellness hotel! Here you make compromises in terms of size and offer. Children are also welcome guests, and if that doesn't suit you, you should avoid them if necessary. You can park for a surcharge in the underground car park or outside at no extra cost.

We liked both the breakfast offer and the dinner (booked half board) very much. Fresh bread, rolls, muesli, freshly prepared egg dishes, tea and coffee in many variations.
For hikes you can start from the hotel in all directions, but also by bike or local transport.

Here you can really feel at home, the hospitality is palpable, the atmosphere is informal. We would be happy to recommend this house to others and will keep it in good memory, return not excluded.

Alright, but I have already experienced better value for money. Unfortunately, our room was not darkenable and at 8:30 on a Sunday the vacuum cleaner was right outside the door. Breakfast time is too short.
