Moldy veggies in the salad, food was nothing to brag about. Service was good. Prices were good.

The fresh-caught triple tail fish was excellent as was the wait staff. Great views of the water out on the deck under the umbrellas.

Atmosphere was fun. The lobster roll was disappointing. It should have been listed as a lobster salad on hot dog bun.

If you like rubbing elbows with the locals its a fun atmosphere the parking is challenging they did add parking across the street

Fun bar anytime of year, rain or shine. Awesome seafood! Live music sometimes too

We went on a Friday, all you can eat Fish and Chips. The "chips" which are french fries were very good, the fish was heavily breaded and very salty. My husband ordered the fish basket and home made chips. His fish was lightly breaded and delicious but his chips were burned and soggy. I would go again and order something different. The cole slaw was very, very yummy.

Fun medium size bar.with wonderful dock side tables and views. Food good. My fish tacos could have been spicy for my taste. Great staff.

We had heard so much about Bert's, so we decided to check it out. Unfortunately the food is not that good.

It was hard to find a seat, but the food, atmosphere, and music totally made up for it!

Looks can be deceiving. The service was a little slow because they were slammed. Best Shrimp I have ever had in my life. Took 10 people. Not a single person complained and I have a hard bunch to please. Would for sure go back. Highly recommend. I am a foodie. 5 starts for me.

Bert's is the quintessential fisherman bar in one of the most quaint old fishing villages in all of Florida. The food is pretty good, however a little bit pricey for pub grub. But don't let that deter you, because the ambiance is really cool and live bands on Friday nights is a lot of fun. This place gets packed out.

Hello, first time visit to Bert's and I discovered a great waterfront bar & grill. Festive atmosphere with many interesting decorations throughout the entire place, you can also enjoy live musical performances as well. There's inside or outside table choices available and a beautiful little waterfront porch and dock. On my visit I ordered the Blackened Tilapia, it was really delicious, my father had the Broiled Tilapia and found it great as well. Many side choices are available I tried the Homemade Chips and mixed vegetables, try the chips they're excellent. Great staff and service and a fun atmosphere 10 stars for me

Our Corvette Club had lunch at Bert's. The food and drinks were great. The atmosphere is fantastic. Service was excellent. Music was terrific. Great water views! A must go to place.

Fish tacos were great but the chips are not good. They need seasoned better or just switch to fries.

So many storys to tell about this place the people you meet here are pretty cool ive been back 20 times

Awesome little hole in the wall! Right on the water, BEAUTIFUL view! All you can eat fish Wednesday and Friday...amazing. Need I say more?! Love.

Great food, music and a nice atmosphere to enjoy a drink in a peaceful side of Florida.

We've been to Berts many times & had some good dinners. This wasn't one of them. The service was awful. I had to go find the waitress to get my wife a second drink. I ordered the special, triple tail. It was $22 for about 6 ounces of fish & burnt chips.
On the up side, the clam chowder was good.

Great grouper sandwich with onion rings and cole slaw. We ate on the patio outside and it was beautiful with the water view.

Took one whole hour for food, when we asked what was taking long, waiter said he ll see what s up. Took him ten minutes, came back, told us it ll be ten more minutes. Pathetic. We left with no food. I advise you that you ll be waiting a while for your food.

Amazing view, relaxing. Our food was good and waitress was amazing. We had a bit of a wait for food but our waitress let us know right away and we were not in a hurry just enjoyed the drinks and view. Love this place.

Service was good but not a wide choice for food. Live music was never heward in the eating area only in the bar area. Disappointing

Loved it!! Super busy little place...just like the old Key West days. Right on the water, live music and the food was excellent!! If we weren't on a boat we may have never got to go here cause parking a car is hard to do, but thanks to our friends we had boat parking. I can't wait to return!!

COVID Dining! It was a great outdoor atmosphere on the water. The triple tail sandwich & calamari were pretty good.

Triple-tail special was excellent, very casual, traditional favorite in Matlacha.

Beautiful breeze and a nice lunch, can't beat that.

Not good! Soggy chips, fishy fish, chewy calamari. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the server was super nice. Otherwise, not worth a buck.

Very tasty and cheap with great views. Beware of mosquito alert, best to spray before!
All you can eat fish and bacon cheesburger highly recommended.

Had the Calamari, it is sooooooo tender and delicious!! Highly recommend! Sat out on the dock, beautiful setting, perfect tropical setting!

This was the first restaurant we visited since March due to COVID-19. Our server wiped his nose with his bare hands not once but TWICE. This isn't cool pre-COVID and especially not cool during a pandemic. Disgusting.

We went with friends to have the all-you-can-eat fish fry. GREAT FISH ! Mike Imbasciani was singing the blues we had a great time. Definitely 5 Stars got to go!

It was hot! We stopped here for some drinks & eats, in that order. We were seated & given the best service we could have. The thirst-quenching drinks were moderately priced. The dishes were wonderful, seafood was fresh. When we left we were cool, full & satisfied.

It's truly an old time bar atmosphere. Make homemade potato chips. Not salted. Wouldn't be my choice again. Liked the fish in the fish and chips. Dawn's hamburger was okay.

Bert's is still as good and relaxing as it was the very first time we went. The outdoor seating is right on the water and the Calypso music playing takes it to another level. Still worth the trip for a quick bite for lunch.
