We had a deadline which they met and this meant we had a smooth transition into our new property. They are absolutely efficient in taking care of all enquiries without the need to bother you unless necessary, yet keeping in constant communication so you are never left in the dark. They answer even the most obvious questions with enthusiasm and vigour, even on weekends and evenings!I cannot recommend them highly enough and will insist that everyone I know use their service. I came across this firm through Homeward Legal. They had the lowest fixed rate fee for the conveyancing, however there were many hidden or overlooked charges for different things in the house-buying process for which they were hideously uncompetitive. The total bill ended up comparable to what we would expect with another firm, or perhaps a little bit more expensive. Our personal solicitor Florence was exceptional and responded very quickly and clearly to any correspondence. As first-time buyers, it was very helpful to have her explain the more complicated parts of the process. As a firm, however, the process took slightly longer than we could have expected with another firm.

I was a first time house buyer and I could not recommend Fiona and Berlad Graham highly enough. Fiona was very knowledgeable, approcachable and accessible throughout the sometimes stressful process of buying property. As well as a fatastic service, their rates are also very competitive. I would absolutely recommend without hesitation.

Florence! If you're lucky enough to get a reply on any one of the many chasing emails you'll have to send, be sure to expect it to include little information, with unprofessional remarks. Florence was working on behalf of our seller. Us being the buyers. The sale took 9 months to go through, admittedly not entirely Florence's fault, but my god she did not help. We were surprised if we would receive a reply from Florence within 2 weeks. She did not answer phone calls to our solicitor, nor did she return them. If ever I go through the conveyancing process again, If in the unlikely event Florence is working on behalf of the seller, I shall walk away immediately. She was that bad! We had to rely on the estate agent to chase the seller, to then chase Florence. Feedback from my solicitor and the estate agent both reflect this review. From other reviews I've read on Berlad Graham, they have a good team. However if you're unlucky enough to get Florence, pray your sale is easy. When the going gets tough, Florence goes absent.

We were recomended Pauline Wilbond by the agents we were buying the apartment from. They had a great experience with her making the near imposible, possible; that was our experience too! From the first phone call we felt at ease. We were one of a ton of people trying to secure a second property before the 1st April. It was great to have a real person to talk to, email and work with us to get it all done (even on the weekends)! Thanks for all your help and would highly recommend her and this company.

Laura and Claire are an incredible team. Following a recommendation from our mortgage adviser at Fidenti, we contacted Laura, from then on the whole process was painless. Laura and Claire kept us informed all the way through by responding to us instantly, answering everything we asked. I am positive that our purchase would not have gone through as fast if we did not have Laura and Claire! We will be recommending them to everyone we know!

I am going through the sale of my first house and i couldn't have asked for any better. The communication, professionalism, advice given and getting the ball rolling was excellent. 100% recommend.

Absolutely terrible, was referred by Homeward Legal and at first they were ok, but as soon as money was transferred and we were ready to go with everything we literally got no response to emails or phone calls. I sent money over for search fees and got nothing at all. I'm now transferring to another solicitor and fully expect to get a refund on my fees, or I will refer the case to the legal ombudsman. I can't believe they get away with offering this shocking service.

The worst possible service. Yes, they are cheap, but before you go through this firm you might as well handle the house conveyance yourself! Our case was handled by Luiza who sounded friendly enough on the phone when we first made contact. After we had transferred the initial payment, there was no response for weeks. We emailed to ask what was going on, and Luiza said there had been a hold-up because the other side's solicitors had not sent the paperwork through. So we called our (fortunately amazing) estate agents that there had been a falling-out between our solicitors and the other side's solicitors. Why? The other side had sent the paperwork straight away via email, however, our solicitor had insisted that they send it in hardcopy via post because they wanted to save printing costs. PRINTING COSTS. I could not believe it when I heard it. This nonsense caused a delay of 3 weeks in our process! Had Luiza just picked up the phone or sent an email explaining what was going on, we would have happily covered the printing costs to speed up the process. This is just one example of the lack of competence and communication we experienced with Berlad Graham - throughout the process (which took much longer than expected and almost led to the sellers having to pull out of the sale because they needed to sell quick) Luiza only communicated when asked directly and explained nothing about the process. She also lost one of our documents that we then had to reproduce which was expensive. We didn't even try to get that money back from Berlad Graham. Finally, there was no other way than to transfer our case to another solicitor within the same firm - we only stayed with Berlad Graham because changing solicitor firms altogether would have meant a further delay and would in all likelihood have terminated our purchase. Our case now got handled by Laura and she was much better at communicating so we finally got to completion in the end. It was an absolute nightmare. Never again!

We were recommended Fiona at Berlad Graham to represent us for a sale and purchase, and Fiona looked after us brilliantly. The whole process was long and drawn out due to delays in our mortgage application, but Fiona always leapt into action quickly at key moments. I've had some very poor experiences with solicitors on previous sales, so it was great to feel like we were in good hands. I'll be using Berlad Graham again for another property sale this year, and would recommend to others.

While the individual I dealt with undoubtedly came across as a nice and friendly person, the whole process was frustrating. My emails were left unresponded to for days/weeks. Trying to get hold of them by phone was incredibly difficult as it appears they dont work at a central office and are all tending to personal lives during normal working hours. As a first time buyer, I do not feel like I was provided with advice, guided through the process or that my best interests were being looked after. Obtaining searches and the process took so long that the vendor almost pulled out of the sale! Even following the purchase, this continues to move incredibly slowly and I am still not with copy of terms of lease, confirmation of ownership three weeks in! Conclusion: nice people but a constant battle to get information and a response.

Florence Oyebola, who is by far the worst solicitor. Doesn t respond to emails, phone calls or voicemails. She responded on a few occasions and even then at like 4-5am and who on earth is supposed to be responding to emails then which makes me question if she was even in the same country! She is very rude and doesn t advise on anything like I should ve done all the processes myself and not hired a solicitor at all. She delayed my compeletion process by a further 4 weeks. She can t spell names, she misspelt names on the actual exchanges of contract like seriously unbelievable that she claims to be a professional solicitor. Further to this she tried including additional costs which were never disclosed. I was forced to pay in the end since I had to complete the process. So don t fall for the fixed fees or reliable nonesense!! I raised this with their admin/complaints team who didn t bother to respond let alone apologise for allocating this rubbish solicitor to me! In anycase, don t waste time or money with these guys. Spend money with someone who s more reputable.

Berlad Graham is a very Rude man. I would advise using a respectable law firm.

They charged me lot for incomplete conveyancing and poor response to my complaint.
