I have been working at the same company for the better part of nine years. With as many times as the company has changed hands, we have always been able to maintain Benemax as our secondary insurance, and for this I am very glad.

The exemplary work and service that has been provided to my family during this time by this company has literally saved us thousands.

I must admit that when it comes to figuring out the intricacies of my insurance; what I am covered for, what is going to deductible, how much is to be reimbursed, what is being paid for medicines for myself and my family, FSA expenses etc., I am beyond challenged, and easily flustered and confused.

From the first time I have had the good fortune to work with Benemax, their representatives have been wonderful examples of patience, knowledge and kindness. They take the time to do the proper research and break things down in ways I can understand. They have saved me and my family hundreds of dollars in money I didn t know was due to me in reimbursements.

I recently had a surgery and was confused about the billing and amounts I was being asked to pay by the hospital. The Benemax Rep was able to work out that although my primary insurance and Benemax had both PAID and the bills showed that payment , the Benemax money was never directly applied to the account. This has resulted once again in saving us hundreds I might otherwise never have known about. I am currently waiting for a re-issuance of the much LOWER itemized bill. This is at a time that we can t afford to over-pay for anything.

So this is a thank you and tribute to Benemax. I, for one, am very glad for your service!

If I could give this company a zero I would. They were supposed to pay a claim for my surgery through my job two years ago and they did not. I have been in contact with two of their agents over the last year and during this process both agents are no longer with their company. Retention of employees must be an issue! The bill has since been transferred to my credit score and it is impacting my life in a very negative way! I am still in the process of trying to fix it and haven't heard anything from them as my case keeps getting dropped due to their retention rate of their employees. I am extremely disappointed.

After a few months of trying to straighten out the billing department on services we had received, we decided to contact Benemax for assistance. Within a day, an Individual Member Advocate (Nora Jarboe) reviewed the bills that I sent to her, pulled up data on our account to see what was paid and then resolved the issues with the doctor's practice. Amazing!

I've had a chronic medical condition for YEARS and it's always been a hassle dealing with the insurance companies to get everything processed and paid for. Prior authorizations, improper processing, "uncovered" meds- it's the worst.

I've been working with a rep at Benemax for months now and she's been absolutely fantastic at helping me wade through the insurance world. I can't tell you the relief at talking with the same person every time I call. Personalized service is so hard to come by nowadays- and a sympathetic ear who helps everything work out properly. They truly go above and beyond!
