Bender Terrace

Had my aunt in there and it's a run down HELL hole. Beds are falling apart, and never enough helpers. Had to move her because of abuse by a nurses aid. She spent 6 days in ICU. Don't put your loved one in there..it's bad.

My grandmother was staying here, nearing her last days and moments and her toilet was filled with feces and toilet paper. Extremely unsanitary and disgusting.

My mom was placed there recently for rehab after hurting her shoulder. It was a horrible experience for my mom and myself. She was in their for 5 days before they even bathed her. Most of the staff was rude and made ugly comments. I went in one evening and I seen a staff member running around in her socks. The building my mom was in smelt horrible. The food was bad. Hot dogs for dinner every night. Most nursing home gives you a menu to choose from. It looked old and outdated. The hospital room at university was better than these rooms. Please if you can avoid it dont put your loved one here.......

It is 49 degrees outside and they have the air conditioner going full blast in a patient's room. When we called,concerned about how cold the elderly patient stated he was,the nurse stated there was no way to get into the room to control the thermostat on the weekend. The nurse on the Northside,in the 100 hallway, become hostile and then proceeded to hang up when asked her name. This is the worst care I have ever seen and no one seems to care because of what side of town it is on and the general ethnicities of the patients.If you can help it, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. THEY WILL NOT GET THE CARE THAT IS NEEDED
