The best ice cream ever. Cookies are also out of this world.
Best ice cream ever. Great tour with a sample at the end.
Excellent selection and good management of the large number of guests. Plenty of scoopers behind the counter, so the wait was minimal.
A must stop place while at Church Street Marketplace.
Love this place. You can't beat BnJs for flavor. Plus they have a really cool old VW van. Great for pics.
You just can't have a Church St Marketplace stroll with a sweet treat from the hippie ice cream store. They even have something for vegans!
I went in for an ice cream cake i needed that day. The line was long but the 2 counter works were smiling and taking care of the customers. There was a clear sign about how to get a cake and i waited my turn. The counter worker laid out my options, was patient, and frankly happy to be there. I commented on their busyness and he said it was a great experience he was excited and thankful for.
It was a great example of great customer service and dedication to the mission of a company.
I'll wait for that kind of service (and great product) any day. As an ice cream lover and supervisor, thanks for both.
This is a really fun Ben & Jerry's location, located in the terrific downtown area of Burlington. The shop is decorated in a bright, fun manner and they even have a custom VW bus inside the shop! Lots of classic Ben and Jerry's flavors to try - definitely sample a few. The lines can get a bit long here, but the staff is terrific and things move along quickly.
Excellent variety, staff are attentive but don't crowd you so you don't feel rushed. A bit pricey, but a for a consistent product, its just about worth it.
Our second stop to B &J. We liked the former nostalgic shop but understand modern appeal. (Gas station)
Can't come to Vermont and not partake. Love the little shop on the closed off street promenade. Staff was super nice, the place was clean, no wait on a Friday night and of course the product was delicious.
I asked what would be the perfect compliment to a scoop of Cherry Garcia. The servers recommendation was perfect! The ice cream, as expected, was excellent!
Aside from the varying line, live getting the ice cream fresh and in a chocolate dipped waffle cone! The line moved relatively quickly considering.
The cardboard straws would be fine if I could finish a milkshake with them but you sadly can t. Got a third way into it before having to go into a different cafe and get a real straw that could do the job because the dissolved cardboard stopped sucking. It s a nice display of greenwashing but when I asked the cashier said they didn t compost. The cups didn t appear compostable. What a shame
By far THE BEST I've cream experience I've ever had in my entire life. Period.
The Ice cream was delicious, but I don't need Politics with it.
Pretty chill ice cream place with a good variety of flavors.
Phish food is the worst ! I don't know how you managed to ruin my favorite B&G flavor and my favorite ice cream in the world ! wow im not into your company or lies any longer
Super friendly staff! I am new to the area and had to obviously try them out when I arrived!
Loved them from the very beginning. Hands down the best ice cream. Ate in the bus inside their store in Burlington. It was great for my grand daughter so it made our visit memorable for us. Had a new flavors to try and pick my new favorite. Can't wait to go back in the future. They were staffed well. Couldn't make up my mind so let some go in front. Still didn't take long to get waited on a few minutes later when I came to a decision. A must see and go and try some ice cream or sorbet or non dairy. You may think it's pricey but really it's not. The higher fat content fills up you up with less. And if you pick a flavor with stuff in it, they don't skimp on added items in the ice cream. Go try them, take the family, take your friends, go with a co-worker, just go and enjoy!
Decent experience unfortunately my mint Chocolate milk shake was watered down and tasted closer to just milk.
Home of the Chunky Monkey and Cherry Garcia. You cannot be in Vermont and now have some Ben and Jerry's ice cream. You can always expect an awesome assortment of flavors available at these iconic hippie ice cream shops.
I have been to Burlington a few times and been to Ben and Jerry's a few times. Have been there again on this visit and once again the milkshake they do is to die for. It's delicious, it's creamy it's just heavenly!!!
Usually very busy location. Same typical quality as expected from B&J.
Go to get ice cream and customer service was awful Wrong ice cream would not fix and when i asked for napkins and got snapped at.. came on aug 17th after 5pm. Will not come back if service is gonna be like this.
Good ice cream! So cool that they offer dairy free scoops! I wish they offered vegan cones to go with it! Nice set up and good seating, but it gets gross at night! The tables are often covered with ice cream and can t be sat in.
Pretty good. Not what it used to be, but good ice cream.
Do you love ice cream? If you don't, then this isn't the place for you.
Long line even on a Wednesday night, but still pretty quick. Of course the ice cream is amazing.
Ice cream is delicious. Service is great. You can sample flavors before you buy.
Really liked the Caramel Almond Brittle for something completely different: non-dairy, non-chocolate, non-guilty
Great place big sign in front you can take a picture with. Ice cream is awesome as always. Just needs menus up front so you can order easier. Went there two times and always a line.
While there was a line because of social distancing, everything was clean and organized. The staff was pleasant as well!
Yes!!! The ice cream is outstanding and the guided tours informative.
For a Ben and Jerry's in Vermont, not the best selection or service.
I can't imagine there is anyone who doesn't love Ben and Jerry's??
Me and my girlfriend stopped by real quick for 2 hand-packed pints and a sundae. The place was packed! We waited in line 5-10 minutes. The energy and environment of the room made the wait an enjoyable experience. A friendly professional, Jonathan took our order. A lady in front of us abruptly states that she has not been helped yet. Despite her attitude the super scoopers were oblivious to her imposition. I spoke up and politely notified a super scooper, she was helped immediately. Who gets mad in an ice cream line?
Despite how busy it was Jonathan took all the time I needed to build the perfect sundae. We watched Jonathan hand-pack the 2 pints with efficient and flawless skill. It was intriguing to watch.
The service is good when people take the time to write reviews.
Not all ice cream is created equally. The smell of waffle cones baking greets you as you walk in the door. The servers are patient while you stand around thinking forever about what you want to taste before committing to a flavor(or three). There is a "mash up" option that isn't available at other ben and jerry's locations if you are wanting to create something yourself.
A fun tour and a really neat experience if you love Ben & Jerry's like we do.
Employees were fantastically friendly, encouraged us to try whatever wanted, and had plenty of patience while my wife tried every flavor. Plenty of outdoor seating, which was nice for people watching.
Hard to beat ben and Jerry's in Vermont. The kids really enjoyed eating ice cream in the old VW bus. The kids cup is the perfect size for the small kids (and if you only want a little bit). The butter pecan was probably the favorite though the cherry Garcia was probably a close second. The shakes looked awesome and a good reason to revisit.
A must visit if you're in Vermont! You can't come here and not get Ben and Jerry's ice cream, it's against the law!
Nice place, could have been selling more localised or location specialised merchandise since this is the birth place of B&J
Thier flagship store. Renovated a year ago with some chill decor. A bit small and crowded during busy tourist times but fantastic nonetheless.
We love Ben and Jerry's and this store was a treat, both literally and figuratively. Special batch flavor with fast, friendly service. Awesome spot!
While this place can be pretty busy, it's definitely worth a visit to discover more flavours of ice cream than I knew B&J made! Cool decor including an old camper van for you to sit inside and super friendly staff. Also has a nice area on the street outside to enjoy you ice cream on a warm day.
This is a great scoop shop! Even though the lines are usually long since it s a popular ice cream place, there are multiple staff that work quickly and efficiently, and are very friendly. There s a bunch of seating inside, including the old van inside the shop! Super cool place overall.
Salted caramel blondie is the bomb. Hand for scale. Don't eat this much ice cream.
This scoop shop is a favorite spot, great ice cream and the service is always friendly and swift
Ice cream tastes good. One star.
They sell cakes. One star
Keyed bathroom. Negative one star
Pricing is funny. Negative one star
Cardboard straw? Negative one star
It was only $6. The tour was interesting and the icecream at the end was generous!!
Took the tour, ate the ice cream. Was there early in the day so traffic/parking was easy.
No maple flavored I've cream in Vermont . That's terrible! The girl who served us was too cool to be bothered with us . Butter pecan was fairly average .
The Mecca for ice cream lovers! Fantastic flavors, fresh I've cream and always friendly service. Grab some ice cream and walk along Church Street!
Love, Love, Love!! Great Staff and Iconic Ice cream!! Been several times and plan on going more before the summer is over!!
Vermont ice!! They have awesome selections of ice cream . If you cant find what you're looking for in regular stores, they do hand packed pints for like $5!!
Always happy with my visits to Ben &
Jerry's.
