Belterra Casino Resort & Spa Review

Quiet on Sunday and Monday
Made the mistake of ordering special dinner at 19. It was super over priced could have saved 80 dollars if I had ordered separately

I spent a lot of money I mean a lot of money never hit more than $80.00 in credits. But I did see other people winning. I will go back very clean. May want to take a sweater for it is a little bit chilly.overall a good time.

Beautiful location rooms clean everyone friendly great food and alot of fun great view of mountains and the ohio river

Best casino around rooms are the best from down blankets and pillows to the Jacuzzi bath

Played golf and had dinner. Casino was smoky and rather stunk of cigarettes.

Stayed in the new section on the 7th floor and the water pressure in the shower was weak. Otherwise very comfortable beds, and nice room.

Great food at stadium bar and grill..best wings ever!!

This casino has the "most awesome" hotel rooms in this area!! Not a bad casino either. Just wish they had better video poker games!

The rooms are much nicer than other ones I've stayed in but I think the rooms are too warm especially at night time. I wish we had more control over our room temperature. I wish there was more charging stations that don't require a USB adapter

Had to walk a mile to get to room, casino and pool
Check you bill. Tried to charge me for drinks from the pool area. Someone printed my room # and last name for $30.
Lock on door did not work
No laundry bag
No TV guide on screen to know what was on
I will not return

Hotel is nice, I thought service was great. It's not too big and not too small. My biggest complaint is smoking in casino. I woke up the morning after being in the casino sounding like I smoked an entire pack of cigarettes

It was great. The room was nice but had an odor in it until Sat after we ran the air conditioner for awhile. When you got off the elevator the odor was very strong. Smelled very bad. But my daughter said maybe it was an air freshener they used. I don't know smelled like moldy or musty to me.

I felt employees were being stereotypical really didn't feel welcomed at all I hit a small jackpot and the machine DID NOT PAY ME although it was only $500.00 it was mearly the principal of it. When I pressed the service button, the first or second guy that came neither really knew what they were talking about or what they were doing. I love the casino atmosphere and although I may appear to be a young black "thuggish male" I'm actually a middle aged and very well educated African American man whom felt insulted and departed my stay early and from where I stand now I will not be returning nor will I be recommending to anyone. My hotel room was nice, however not clean and u heard loud people and doors loudly slamming all through the night was very irritating

We only visited the casino. The casino was very small with mostly slots and there were two poker tables. The machines were tight and there was not much variety in the machine options. Also they were packed tightly together. There was a small bar located at one end of the casino with a very large screen t.v. but the set-up for the tables ran out onto the casino floor. The upside as a new member you receive up to $20 in comps for signing up. Will not be back.

Every thing was great except having to switch rooms due to finding a bug in the bed

We went to the Bret Michael's concert there and we also played at the casino the workers there were very accommodating and the whole building was very beautiful

We ate at the Buffet for crableg night. The crab was very small not even legal size for them to fish. Hardly any meat on them. Since the new owner took over prices have gone up. The slots machine are paying out nothing. My suggestion is to go somewhere else!

Love it king room deluxe after we slept in it I always take off sheets and blankets so they can get washed here a few pics won this visit

Slots don't pay out no jackpots are paid out here been there 3 times and machines are tighter than horseshoe casino.

Nice clean rooms. Didn't gamble so I can't comment on that aspect. I can say that I have now eaten at the buffet twice (breakfast and dinner on seperate visits) and subsequently gotten sick on both occasions. Do yourself a favor and stick to Nosh.

Rooms are very nice, restaurants have good quality food for the price.

I like to play slots. A little tight but I had fun anyways

I like it there. I usually have tunnel vision when I'm there, so, I focus on the slots. It's always clean and tidy there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only issue, which is a big one, was my shower had a black film in between some of the tiles from not being cleaned properly.

It could be cleaner. Some of staff was great, like the ones at Nosh.. the sports bar workers didn't seem happy at all. Food there was ok.. nothing to write home about. The buffet look good but we got there too late. Wasn't crowded at all.

Buffet was eh, ok. Room was clean. Lost lot of money very quickly. No entertainment, boring atmosphere

This was our second stay and it was just as great as the last time! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, awesome water pressure, great customer service and great rate. We got in late and getting a late check out was no problem. Their games are of a great variety, we only played video poker and slots. Food is great here at the 19 Steak and Seafood restaurant, and prices are affordable, not overpriced as one would expect. Only leaving off the 5th star because of the smoking in the casino, even the very small non-smoking section takes a bit to get used to, or cope with. We were here when it wasn't very busy also. We are not smokers but made the best of it! We will be back.

Was as expected. Customer service was great. Will return in the future.

Seafood buffet is great clean and comfortable rooms

Love this place. I have lived within 30 min of this casino my whole life and wish I had spent more time here. Lots of great stores, food, and relaxing things to do. If you are into sports it is an excellent place to just go watch a game at the bar. Atmosphere is amazing. Thank you for such a great place to go

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel which is always a nice stay but the casino not so much seems to be hard to win there

The people are great the service is awesome the food is good at the stadium the notch has me best desserts in coffee the floor staff at the casino or great, great place to go for short vacation

I know a lot of this is not their fault with the covid-19 restrictions, but they did not have enough table games (the pit boss I talked to actually said there weren't enough people to open more tables, which was NOT true), not enough open slots, and the ones that were open were super tight. NOT going back till all this is under control.

Belterra is located riverside in a beautiful area with that small town feeling. The casino and rooms are together with nice restaurants and entertainment all in one location. Service was great! The casino is a smoke friendly boat in which I didn't see a smoke free room to play in. Food was good and the area was filled with friendly smiles!

Slots pretty tight here..don't pay put much, but a fun place to go for a night out, if you dont mind loosing your money

Terrible it has gone downhill since the new owners took over

I've been a long time fan of belterra, but I would recommend skipping the buffet. I was here for lunch today and pretty disappointed. I miss the burgers and sandwich line. The other items they have now feel like they belong in an old folks cafeteria.

The service was fantastic as usual. Maybe I'll try the sports bar next time.

Kiosk for big players rewards are always down but if you're not a player, it's good.

Nice rooms, good food at stadium bar, great breakfast buffet. Only complaint is there is only one bar in the casino area though a few options are available outside the gambling area.

Exhaust fans not working or something even went to non smoking eyes burning had to leave early because of smoke never had that problem before

The stadium has a great food , love their giant pretzel .

Could be a very nice place. But is dirty and not taken care of.

Went for the all you can eat crab legs. Line was long but moved pretty fast. Crab legs were good. Prime rib was good as well. Buffet choices were pretty bland though. If you aren t eating crab it s not worth the price.

No hot water in our room. Not any discount on room rate because of inconvenience. Will never return to this place.

The Belterra Casino was very nice clean comfortable and great food drinks very nice rooms beds were comfortable everything was clean yes we stayed overnight and they had Elvis Presley Shawn klush Entertainer there it was great and exciting to see him

Stayed in a King deluxe, the room was clean and nice, the bathroom was a pleasure. The casino is small and was only one roulette table open but we had a really nice dealer.

Didn't stay at hotel, only gambled in the casino. Casino is run down and needing a facelift. The tables we wanted to play didn't open despite having several dealers at other tables with no gamblers. Very smokey...even non-smoking area was smokey smelling. BUT the Stadium restaurant is good, great service and delicious food.

Although our friends had a great time we were very disappointed with security. We were asked to leave the lobby area where we were playing cards and having a few drinks. As we left we spoke with the front desk to see if we were allowed to stay. The front desk personnel said they would check. They walked to a back room and then returned and stated yes we were allowed to stay and that if anyone asks to tell them Zach said it was ok. I didn't know who Zach was. A security guard again came up and told us we needed to leave. I stated we asked permission and they said Zach stated it was ok for us to stay. The security guard (who happened to be mysterious Zach) then became very arrogant and rude. We explained that we were ok with leaving but we were concerned about the inconsistencies and/or lack of communication between the front desk and security. We had absolutely no problem with leaving the area if that was the policy, however, we asked permission first. Zach was rude to our group and would not try to resolve the issue at hand.

Its better than Rising Star. But a far cry from Hollywood in L-Burg
