We knew it was top end price and had saved for our experience so we could sit back without guilt and absorb every moment and experience the brilliance of Raymond Blanc and his team at their best. Food was exceptional and faultless - our waitress knew everything about the ingredients and cooking methods - sommelier paired our wines perfectly - it was just fabulous. As a bonus Raymond came around to chat to everyone - charming. Saving up from today for next time.

Had a lovely day with my wife if enjoy an excellent luncheon it's quality and not quantity that count the garden tour was a little disappointing as we thought that there would have been a bit more colour and more exotic planting especially fruits and vegetables

Been here for a la crate lunch and tasting menu dinner. What can one say? Outstanding food, beautiful grounds and excellent service. Nothing bad to say. Do take the time (30 mins) to wander through the gardens.

Went there for 7 courses with my wife, extremely excellent quality food. Wish I lived next door. Only downside was they were fully booked for the hotel. Would love to go back and spend the weekend.

It is difficult to express how wonderful the food is at this lovely place. Ingredients of impeccable provenance, prepared, cooked and presented sublimely. Service of the highest standard. The accommodation matches the same high standards and the grounds are peaceful, well lai out and a joy to walk around.

Good, but not as good as the last times I've visited. Standards have dropped a little and attention to detail could've been better. I used to think you could justify the prices, but on this occasion I'm not so sure.

I cannot rate this place, staff & overall experience high enough. Only to say I keep coming back over 10+ years, having been for lunch, dinner & cookery school to special events. A must visit for those wanting a memorable special occasion.

If I could push this to 6 stars I would - purely because the staff are frankly the best in the world. You can tell they all
Love their job, or at least they can act it! It seems a strong hierarchy or manager has sewn seeds of excellence in this yard.

The environment you walk into, not quite a stately home, but it s got to be close - gardens to mooch around in after your 4 ( or was it 5 ) courses. I want to say that everything on our plate was reared in the area or grown on their land.

The wine chosen was fantastic, I wish I d chosen it myself - my memory fails me who did, or whether the chicken we ate was born within spitting distance - but what I can say is that we all left smiling, albeit blushed & bloated from food ( or was it the walk?! )

This is exceptional, worth every Michelin star. The food is sublime ditto the wine. It is so lovely to wander the grounds and take in the atmosphere. What you would expect and more from Mr Blanc.

A fabulous experience, food was fantastic, wonderful tastes. Staff were five star and the gardens were beautiful. It is expensive but well worth it, as a treat once in a while I can't think of a better place to eat out.

Incredible restaurant. It's always such an experience eating here and they are very accommodating for all different dietary requirements. They make you feel so special as well - everyone greets you and looks after you.

This was one very special treat. I have never visited a venue like it and despite this I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The food is just out of this world and it's easy to see how food can be interpreted as an art form when you experience this. Fully recommend even if it does cost an arm and a leg

A wonderful experience. I visited with a friend for lunch in January. Not a lot to see in the gardens but enjoyed the statuory & the mushroom valley. The hotel has a calm, contented ambience with excellent staff. The meal was 5 courses of sheer delight & excellence. We were then lucky enough to meet Raymond Blanc & chat over coffee. A fab day out!

My mother and I came here for a cookery course and lunch. The staff are extremely polite and attentive, and the tour of the 100% organic gardens was an experience to remember. I highly recommend Le Manoir, it is an experience you will never forget.

A good experience, but tasting menu lacking wow factor

This place looks and feels fantastic. The grounds are expertly manicured and every detail is considered, it's a beautiful place to go.

We came just for dinner one night as a group of 8 for a special occasion.

We were then taken to the dining room which was equally impressive and sat down for the tasting menu of something like 10 courses. The food was perfectly presented, the warm bread rolls were amazing and again the staff were very friendly. A lovely place.

The other little gripe I have is that I think the service is a little overbearing. For example the insistence of the waiters and waitresses to pull my chair out when I get up and then push it back in when I sit down. I'm very capable of getting out of a chair and sitting down again and don't really want someone hovering nearby just to do that. It feels very much like a remnant of 50 years ago. Other small examples of this included the resetting of the napkin on my lap repeatedly and the constant filling of my wine, even if I'd only had 1 sip since the last time it was done.

The most incredible food I've ever eaten. Went for my 40th birthday meal and absolutely cannot fault it. All of the staff are attentive to your needs but also discreet and nothing is too much trouble. By far the most expensive restaurant I've ever eaten in but absolutely worth every penny.

Absolutely incredible food, the gardens and grounds around the restaurant are fantastic too, and are great to wander round after a leisurely meal. The staff are taking social distancing very seriously, being attentive without being intrusive. We felt very comfortable sitting in the restaurant during these crazy times. Credit to the staff and management!

My husband and I went for the one day cookery classes and we took the opportunity to spend a couple of nights at the Manoir. Everything from the food to the accommodation was excellent. The setting is stunning. The staff is professional and friendly. They would go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and you can clearly see the passion for what they do and the commitment to deliver the greatest customer experience. We will certainly come back and we will take also our children with us (we were very happy to learn that children are more than welcomed at the Manoir).

The hotel is fantastik, hotel service is top notch. The rsturant is supposed to be Michelin 2 star rated restaurant but it was a disappointment, especially given the set 4 course menu is about 150 pounds per person and the 6 course was 162. Service in the restaurant was excellent but food was some what ordinary. We dined at the Ledbury in Notting Hill 2 days later and it much better (one best diners I have had in London and it was a little bit less expensive). Not sure give how the restaurant at Le Manoir gets such a high rating.

The room (Vettriano) was stunning. The food, out of this world. Staff superb and attention to detail second to none. And yet the genius of Le Manoir is managing to create a truly relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much.

Attended a "let's go" cooking lesson. Fantastic. Expertly taught by a friendly chef, small group in the class for almost 1 to 1 tuition. Learned 4 great dishes, 3 demonstrated and demystified, and one hands on dish with top class ingredients.
Encouraged to tour the grounds after the class, but sadly not so easy in winter due to it getting dark so early.
Very receptive to questions about any cooking queries, if she didn't know (which she in all cases did), she'd ask the 40+ colleagues in the kitchen. If they didn't know, she'd put it to Mr Blanc himself.
A great half day out.

Totally amazing experience. 7 course every last morsel was delicious. Staff have honed to perfection the art of being professional & approachable so that the whole experience is relaxed & enjoyable. We were there for 4 hours & it flew by. The gardens are impressive too though unfortunately the weather wasn't so good on the day we visited. A wonderful bucket list event for me

I attended the adult child cooking course and it was the most amazing experience. Very engaging and insightful cooking course. All the kids enjoyed themselves. Mark is a delightful teacher and enriched the six hours with many stories, tips and tricks. Thank you to all the staff who made this day such a special experience!

I have wanted to come to Le Manoir for years. And what a special experience it was! The only thing I would say let the whole experience down somewhat was turning up dressed up for a special occasion but other guests dining in baseball caps and sportswear, which ruined the prestige somewhat. Loved the set menu format, and the savoury courses were out of this world. I would say perhaps the service wasn t on par with other Michelin dining experiences which was a shame, but vastly outweighed by the incredible setting!
