At first the application was really slow, but they have a lot of things to sort through so we were understanding. The ladies in the office are very sweet and do their best to help you out. It takes about 2 weeks for everything to come together but I think it's worth it, given the rent prices they offer. I would recommend going there if you are low income and discouraged by the average rent price in Seattle. About to move smack downtown for $750 a month, can't really beat that.

Bellwether Housing has the most incompetent apartment site managers. I have lived in one of Bellwether Housing apartments for 5 years. There have been 4 different site managers and all of them were unqualified. The property is not well kept. The laundry facilities are terrible. There is usually one washing machine out of order and the machines are dirty and the laundry room is filthy. If you need maintenance done it takes a very long time. The rent of my apartment has increased each year and the services have gotten worse. I have had to contact Seattle Housing two times to assist me in getting the property manager to do routine maintenance on my apartment. I would NEVER rent an apartment at one of Bellwether Housing properties again.

Unending issues living in this building. Now the building, which is a historic property, needs a new elevator. Understandable. We are getting a rent reduction because we all have to take the stairs (14 floor building), which is enough to make the stairs bearable. However, they neglected to mention the noise. I WFH and I can't take calls now, as no one can hear me. Management is adamant that the rent reduction is for the noise too, though they didn't mention it until I asked if Bellwether would cover a coworking space through the end of the project (3 months). So now I have to take stairs up 14 flights for laundry, mail, everything, AND have to pay for the pleasure of showering and putting on real pants and going to an office every day just to get my work done. I am so grumpy. ZERO STARS. 1/10 would not recommend.

I really appreciate Bellwhether! The building is always kept clean and if u need something fixed they are on it. I would not be able to afford live in Cap hill with out the low rents they charge. The only thing that is annoying is the quarterly bed bug checks. They allow all animals too. I have seen the bad reviews but I am glad I moved here.

I ve lived at the Parker since 2011. I am one of the original residents who is still here. I must say any time you are renting an apartment there will be challenges. Building age. I have seen 4 different site managers in the time I ve been here. 3 of the 4 have been incredible. I ve had some minor hic-ups living here but mostly I ve been satisfied. Nothing is perfect there will be problems everywhere you go. Be thankful there is a place to live that is affordable.

Lived at the Parker for almost a year. For a first time apartment, it was so so. Biggest complaint was consistent mold buildup in anything that held water, i.e. the toilet, sinks, and bathtub. No matter how clean we kept it, the mold would come back. Medical issues I was experiencing cleared up really quick when I moved out and to a place with safe water source.

The heating was also awful and even cranked up all the way, the heater would barely warm the room. Neighbors were awfully loud to the point where noise cancelling headphones were needed almost 24/7.

For a first time apartment it's cheap, but cheap will only get you so much quality of living.

I ve been a resident of Bellwether for 3 1/2 years. I am so truly appreciative that I was able to be approved for this unit, considering my credit score.

Bellwether looked at my solid rental and employment history, and approved me for a nice apartment in the heart of downtown Seattle that I wouldn t otherwise be able to afford.

I don t make anywhere near the salary of the average tech worker in this city, and thanks to Bellwether, I have a quality place to call home, despite living in a city of rapidly expandanding disparities!

Thank you Bellwether!

It is not appropriate to live in this place. It is not clean. There are Bed lice in the building. I lost $ 5,000 on my furniture due to insects in the building. I was hospitalized because of insects. My house was stolen. It is not safe in housing and the service is not good. The worst service and manager is not nice and does not respect others , This is the saddest year i lived in this building... Casa Pacifica apartment ..

Terrible service. Have been trying to move in for about a month and they keep requesting more information even after saying I ve given them everything they need. The apartment manager at Arbora Court is very unorganized and rarely responds to emails in a timely manner.
