Visited here on Hogmanay with a group of friends the band that were playing called Hustler were excellent. The buffet had more than enough and the barmaid did a great job considering she was working on her own. Great value for a great night out.

WOW what a find. Last time here it was a bit of a dump. Change of ownership. What a difference. The standard of food for an afternoon service was equivalent to that of a premium evening service. First time I've asked for a doggy bag at lunchtime. The freshest naan bread ever. Will definitely be back

Description: Gill and Eddie Lange, both artists, took over the Bell Rock in February of this year 2013. They have re-connected this traditional pub to the Harbour through re-opening the original front entrance bringing in natural light and giving views to the harbour. The maritime feel continues on the menu with the Bell Rock's trade mark delicious dishes of fresh Scottish mussels and Haddock and Chips as well as lots of other choices. A home to regular Thursday evenings of lively Folk Music the Bell Rock also hosted a large Folk Music weekend last Easter and is about to launch it's first Real Ale and Music weekend 2 - 5 August in conjunction with CAMRA.Family friendly and we welcome well behaved dogs too!! Our Terrace has a great view to the harbour and over the mouth of the River Tay.We are a traditional Scottish community pub that aims to be professional yet supremely informa

So dissapointed after reading the reviews. Went for Sunday lunch today, about 12.20, the pub was cold, no smell of food. I asked the barmaid if they were open for lunch and she said they were but it would be about 1pm. We bought drinks while we waited and I asked if they were doing Sunday roast or normal menu, she said she didn't know as the chef had gone out for supplies! 13.10, still no sign of chef or food so we left.

Fantastic food and lovely folk. I'm really looking forward to when this opens properly so we can have a sit down meal. In the mean time I will continue to work through the excellent takeaway menu. Definitely recommend.

Traditional friendly pub that has recently just opened again after a refurbishment by the new management. Went in for a couple of pints and had such a great time it was closing time before I left. Worth a visit if you are in Tayport.
