Had first major surgery of my life with one Dr. Gi...

Had first major surgery of my life with one Dr. Gita Pillai, following ER visit to Emergency Dept with Dr. Hadzar (?) due to freakish fall on my own staircase. Taken promptly. Dr. Hadzar has a caring, compassionate manner, in addition to being a capable, highly intelligent physician (NYU Medical School grad so not surprising). Front-end staff at Same Day Surgery (outpatient) Unit were efficient but also friendly during paperwork phase. Nurses were terrific throughout. Anesthesiologist Dr. Lim explained the sequence thoroughly, as well as her suggested post-op pain med plan. Excellent bedside manner on part of Dr. Lim. Nurse anesthesiogist, Cheryl, instilled confidence as she had worked with Dr. Lim in Wilmington for some years, and now works on Dr. Lim's team following both their moves to this area of DE.
Beebe impressed me because the staff overall was superior to Sibley in DC where I had my children and one minor outpatient procedure (only other hospital with which I'm acquainted). The nursing staff in 2002 at Sibley was so indifferent that I left less than 24 hours after admission cuz I felt I'd be better off at home following childbirth.
Our family used Beebe ED on a weekend about 10 yrs ago for touch football injury for our then-elementary son with good results. Great MD (UPenn-trained I later learned online) who felt finger was just sprained, but ordered x-ray in case. Just a sprain, which healed nicely with splint nurse bandaged around our son.
Highly recommend, but with the population growth in this area of Sussex County, I can well imagine wait times in ED can be long, especially in summer tourist season.

My daughter had a medical emergency, they were very attentive and promptly had us in a medevac on our way to chop! She had emergency surgery, if we waited much longer things could have turned out much worse! I m grateful to the staff in the er that night!

Unprofessional staff. Lacking compassion. Threatening at times. Would give less than one star if I could there needs to be more training with mental health and chronic disease. Most staff came off as aloof and disrespectful. Charge nurse Collen was the an abomination.

Admitted in Oct 2013 for emergency open heart surgery and throughout my 8 days in the Hospital, all pre-surgery and post-surgery care was exceptional. The entire cardiac team was excellent as well as all the personnel in ICU. My two months of out-patient Cardiac Rehab at the Medical Center was by far the best.
Thanks to all the staff that had anything to do with my care.

Walked into the emergency room told them the severity of my cut on my toe. waited 30 minutes to be checked in, waited another 30 to be registered. Waited another hour to finally be brought into the back all while im still bleeding out of my cut that I showed to about 10 people who all thought I should be stitched up for. I finally am called into the back where they then leave me in a chair in a hallway and, no exaggeration have me wait for 2 and a half hours before some doctor in a hoodie tells me that they re gonna clean it and put me on an antibiotic. This is shortly after a nurse comes over and looks at and literally peels of the skin and clearly sees how deep it is. He puts me on the antibodies and we finally leave after a 4 and a half hour to 5 hour time there and maybe talked to their employees 5% of that time. Go home and the cut gushes blood, it bled through the bandaid they put on, the sock, and my shoe. Must ve lost a nice galloon of blood. All while on my anti biotic and wearing the band aid they gave me. We then drive back up only to wait another 2 hours in the waiting room and for a doctor to say Should ve stitched it up the first time you were here, dont know what to tell ya. I hate everything about this place it doesn t even seem like a legit hospital.

I got to the Er around 6:30 pm and at 9:12 pm I m still sitting in waiting area waiting to be seen. This has truly been a bad experience especially with my pain and running a high fever. I watched a couple with a baby leave because they had not been called back either.

I saw Dr. Sofronski for a second opinion on my VSG surgery. His staff took the time to greet me and make sure I was comfortable before I even sat down in the waiting room. The receptionist was amazing. She told me about her own experience and hearing it in her words made me feel that I made a great choice.

During the actual visit, the RN Leanne was just incredible. She took the time to listen to me, and I don't mean just nod and "mhmm", she locked in and really listened. She then spoke with the doctor prior to him coming in. When Dr. Sofronski came in he really listened and tuned in as well. Although some of my issues were just my personal view of prior care, he STILL LISTENED and moreover took the time to understand.

Highly recommend this facility!

I had my first ever experience with Beebe Hospital...

I had my first ever experience with Beebe Hospital. It certainly was not my hospital of choice for major surgery due to past experiences with family members. However, my surgeon is affiliated with this hospital and I had the utmost confidence and respect for him. I must say that I was extremely pleased with the whole experience, from OP registration, to pre-op care and post-op care. My surgeon, anesthesiologist and assistants were great and explained everything while I was still awake. The post-op care I received was the best I ve ever had. The nurses and assistants were so professional and caring; I couldn t have hoped for better. The therapist, housekeeping, and nutrition staff were all great too. So I now have renewed faith in Beebe hospital and especially their orthopaedic unit.

I am very dissatisfied with the care I received in the ER last Wednesday. My physical therapist recommended I go to the ER due to my symptoms. I felt like the doctor thought I was lying about my symptoms. After 2 hours I requested water but never did receive it. I was released after 4 hours when my husband walked up to the desk and said "I need to take her home because she is too uncomfortable here". The only advice received was to take Tylenol at home and make an appointment with a specialist. I was born at Beebe and had my child there also. I have had surgery there with no complaints. I will never use their ER again.

If you want to sit in the waiting room for 2 or 3 hours before your seen go to Beebe Hospital. Go to alternate hospital if you would like to be seen in a reasonable time frame. The care and staff at both locations are wonderful but the wait time is extreme and since we are in the EMERGENCY ROOM waiting 2 or 3 hours to see a doctor makes a big difference. Do yourself a favor and go to an alternate hospital even if the drive is further at least you will see a doctor sooner and get relief sooner instead of sitting in the waiting room for several hours then sitting in the hospital bed for several more

My parents both live in Lewes. Beebee is in a small town, but has given both my parents terrific care. My mother was just in with e-coli. Because she has irritable bowel syndrome, it would have been easy for them to blow off her symptoms and send her home. But they didn't. They took her seriously, and they caught it early. A few years ago, when my father was in septic shock, they also saved him. I'm very grateful to the staff there. I don't know if you guys will ever see this, but well done

Unprofessional attitude. They prescribed an antiepileptic which is causing extreme side effects (0.3% reported) and I was hung up on by the ER staff while trying to speak to them about this. They have not followed the FDA guidelines which say to monitor the patient while starting this medication for dangerous side effects.

My pregnant wife was being admitted for an ultrasound because a filing cabinet fell on her at work. After arriving at the hospital in a very tense state, they informed me that they wouldn t allow me in the room with her during the ultrasound because of hospital policy. There is no reason even camping on the border of logic that could justify this. It made the situation worse and aggravated my wife even more. NEVER GO HERE FOR ANY REASON. Horrible experience. You need to use common sense and stop being lazy by leaning on "policy". What a joke.

I went to the ER today and I was seen right away. Everyone could tell I was an upset and nervous. The staff was great and walked me through everything. They took multiple tests and talked me through each one. The doctor came in and explained the results in about an hour and what I should do for treatment. After that I was discharged fairly quickly. I feel pretty good knowing that there is some great care while we were away from home.

In the ER for 6 1/2 hours waiting for results that were said to take 30 minutes and the tests were done 5 hours ago!! Horrible experience! Son was told not to eat but when I asked again 6 hours later cause he hasn't eaten all day they said oh sure we'll get him something. No attention to the patients at all!!

Dr. Banzon is by far the very best professional, Doctor I've ever seen. He is extremely thorough, is extremely easy talk to, and most important a good listener.

Back on a Thursday in May, 2016 I was referred to Dr. Banzon for a cough by Dr. Bonnie Burnquest because I was not responding to antibiotics. He gave me a very detailed examination including extensive tests including a CT and Brain MRI at Beebe Hospital. On the following Monday he personally called me around 8 am telling me he had some bad news. He followed with "you have a brain tumor". And refereed me to a neurologist, Dr. Thomas. The following week on Tuesday, Dr. Thoma stated the tumor needed to be removed and he could send me to Christiana Hospital. I told him I was going to Johns Hopkins and seeing the Johns Hopkins Chief Nero Surgeon Dr. Henry Brem. Dr. Brem said the same as Dr. Thomas, it needed to be removed and added he thought it was benign. Surgery was scheduled for June 20, 2016, after surgery Dr. Brem stated I owed Dr. Banzon my life and a new car, LOL, because of where the tumor was located. When I was released from ICU the first thing I asked my wife was to try and get Dr. Banzon on the phone, he got right on the phone, I told Dr. Banzon I owed him my life and thanked him and told him I would drop in and see him as soon as I could.

It took almost two weeks for the biopsy to come back. Hopkins had to send it to Mayo because it was extremely rare. It turned out to be "sclerosing epithyelioid firbrosacoma" only 3 know in the brain.

Long story short its been three plus years now I'm cancer free.

All my doctors, the surgeon, oncologists, PC etc...all say Dr. Banzon acted quickly and I should credit him with saving my life.

THANK BEEBE HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS SPECIFICALLY DR. VICTOR BANZON FOR SAVING MY LIFE.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

We were visiting DE from MD and had to take our daughter in because of what looked to be a tic bite. The nurse took blood from my 15 month old to run a test for Lymes disease. We were never contacted with the results and the results were never sent to our pediatrician. When we called the hospital the first time they said they would fax the results, but our pediatrician never received them, so we called back again and was transferred to the lab where we were told the the attending nurse did not collect enough blood to run the test so there was never one conducted. What a terrible experience to find out almost a month later that your child might still be sick and this facility did nothing but prolong the ability of her recieveing an actual medical diagnosis and treatment. So disgusted.

My primary doctor sent me to the ER to rule out a blood clot because I had swelling in my left calf. 2 hours + later and numerous people seen in front and I'm still waiting room. Horrible service, unable to give you any ideas about wait time and even if they aren't busy you will end up spending hours in the waiting room.

Anesthesiologists and OR team fabulous. Understood my fears (ET tube on awakening) and understood! Dr. Farrell super great at ortho-stuff. All nurses were great, and if they did not know an answer, they rapidly found out. Food darned good for hospital fare. Triage is on point. ER is beyond reproach with 72 beds (truly)! I bypass local hospital to get to BeeBe. The "little hospital that could" and did. Rated A+ for safety!

For the last year I have had nothing but bad experiences at this hospital. I took my daughter there for a small rash on her leg it looked like ringworm to me but they treated her for something else it got worse in a few days what started out as a pinky nail size rash turned into a rash as big a soda lid from misdiagnosis and treating her for the wrong thing. so I took her back they gave me medicine to treat it but the medicine they gave my daughter was allergic to I told them that they refused to change it said I am the care provider not you. so needless to say I had to get the head charge nurse involved finally got a different medicine this was in January 2014.
Then I went in June for severe dehydration the same nurse that took care of my daughter was my caregiver I gave her the benefit of the doubt and let her be my caregiver big mistake. They started me on fluids and ran some test all the test came back fine she was like we are sending you home I still felt really bad worse than when I first came in so I asked to see another doctor she told me no I am your caregiver I'm sending you home finally after not feeling well my anxiety kicking in another Dr came in ran a few more test gave me more fluids and the right meds I was fine to go home. I went in this past week for sever anxiety attacks I told them when I went in I was having a little chest pain but its not heart related I was having severe anxiety. So needles to to be safe they did an ekg which was fine I understood they wanted to make sure it wasn't heart related. when I got in the back I told the Dr. I had a heart work up the year before everything was normal that this was anxiety I needed some relief till I can get to my Dr. so they gave me meds to help in er and ran some blood work well they ran test something was off to indicate I may have a blood clot somewhere so they said they wanted to admit me so I went along with what they said they put me in the cardiac unit with Dr Kim as the attending Dr worst Dr I have ever had in my life he never asked me what was going on never asked me about my history nothing he went off of what the test in the ER said nothing else. A nurse came in and asked me who my pharmacy was I told them next thing I know they are saying I have some meds for you and it was medication I went off of a year ago that I didn't need I told them I wasn't on that medication anymore. They started me on anxiety meds while I was there for two days which I did need well needless to say the test they did for two days came back negative they said we are sending you home so I was expecting to get help with the anxiety while I was in there Dr Kim told me yiou can do that out patient afer he already started me on the meds in the hospital for my anxiety. He refused to run blood work for issues I had been having said you were admitted for other reasons I explained to him what I was admitted for is not what I came in for the issues I came in for are getting swept inder the carpet. I asked to speak to another Dr he refused to let me talk to someone else he was very cold and callous and uncaring. I will say the nurses are awesome but the overall care is horrible I will never go to this hospital again I feel they did not listen to me at all and just went their own way so needless to say I did not get relief from the real issue I was there and had to suffer with the symptoms I was having for a week till I got to my dr and have to pay for all they did that was unnecessary. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone horrible care

They were very rude because it was close to closing time, so they avoided treating my sister by all costs. The doctors and staff looked very angry that we came in 15 minutes before they closed at 8pm. It was an emergency, and they really made us feel uncomfortable, and unworthy of the proper services needed. It was very unfair, because we were out of town and that was the only hospital close to our location. I'm very glad to say, since we have grade A hospitals in Pittsburgh we never go through these problems. Please step it up for your clients, we deserve better treatment under your care...

Went to ER after nearly slicing my finger off. Was there over an hour before i had to ASK for something for pain. After it was stitched, i waited 7 days. INCOMPETENCE RUNS RAMPANT! Most of the nurses are wonderful but there is a total lack of care by orthopedics especially. My dad was admitted on Saturday with a fractured pelvis and has YET TO BE SEEN BY AN ORTHOPEDIST. Gross negligence!!

I have been in touch with your patient advocate for the past 2 days. She is very nice, understanding and has tried to help. Other doctors have requested orthopedic service to show up and they are still negligent and still haven't shown up. Hire some better, more compassionate, responsible doctors!!

Having no memories of being ill, much less coming extremely close to dying, for the first three weeks, when I did become aware, I just knew I was treated outstanding. I only hope that I had been a good patient because I was certainly treated with respect and kindness. I only had one bad incident but with exception of that my experience upon finally being aware, was kindness and outstanding treatment.

I have never in my life met such rude and indignant nurses. They act like you are bothering them by having an emergency. My doctor sent me to the emergency room and the nurses and doctors treated me like I was lying or exaggerating my symptoms.

My mother was admitted with a cough, weakness and extreme loss of weight after a fall. First, they tried several steroids and antibiotics, without bloodwork, to determine what was causing the symptoms. They proceeded to try 4 different antibiotics, give her insulin despite the fact that SHE WAS NOT DIABETIC. They lost results TWICE for a strep screening and never did a third one. They tried to get the family to agree to a feeding tube but brought in no specialist until we demanded an infectious disease specialist be consulted. They then moved her room to the 5th floor next to a FLU PATIENT . The social worker suggested my mother change her POA to a daughter that was a nurse although she knew little of my mother s medical history since not being around her much in thirty years rather than deal with the well educated daughter that knew her mother s medical history well. They discharged my mother, transferred her to a nursing facility where she passed away. THIS HOSPITAL KILLS PEOPLE WITH INCOMPETENCE! The lack of communication between doctors, nurses and family was appalling. The left hand knew nothing of the doings of the right hand. STAY AWAY FROM BEEBE IF YOU LOVE THE PATIENT.

Dec 22, 2016 went to Beebe Walk in, Georgetown, De for a migraine that I had for 3 days. I didn't really want to go there, because the last time I went there I had a terrible experience. The PA Marsha Reynolds, has to be most rude and obnoxious "health professional" I have ever encountered. Her beside manners need a lot of work. She gets right in your face and you feel like she is attacking you. All I wanted was some relief from the migraine, and told her my meds would be ready the next day. She proceeded to tell me that she has no drugs in the office, I didn't ask for narcotics, and SHE asked me what I took for the migraine, I told her, and she went on to say she doesn't have that med. I know that, if I had wanted a narcotic, I would have gone to the hospital. I just wanted to take the edge off............never again will I visit that walk in......she needs to go to "Beside manner school" and "How to be nice to people". Don't bother giving me a number to call for patient services. Rant over. I had to mark one star to be able to post this, but this facility, with her as a PA deserves a ZERO

This is literally the worst Hospital on the east coast, and I have no idea who's at fault. I'm currently at work, and my wife is at this hospital at the moment for what has been around 2 hours...and they're still in the waiting room!!! My daughter was referred to go to Beebe by her pediatrician immediately for lab work to see if we need to go to AI DuPont for further evaluation and I call to check up on them, and they're still in the WAITING ROOM! If for whatever reason you need to go to this Hospital be prepared to spend all day there, no matter what you're going in for.
P.S. Don't give me some B.S. reply about how you care and give me a number to call, cause judging by all the angry comments left, you top dogs running the show obviously don't care...Sincerely, a pissed off father.

The staff is friendly and professional. Everyone smiles and is genuinely friendly. The delivery couldn t have been better if fully planned.

Much happier that the baby was delivered here instead of in Hagerstown Maryland.

Came into the ER with chest and stomach pains. They ran multiple tests and never felt like I was waiting too long for any of the results. Everyone was super friendly. I went in at 6 and was out by 10 having done at least 4-5 tests. Doctor and nurses answered all my questions. I was alone so they made sure to check on me every once in a while as well. Not sure why their overall rating is so low but I feel like for a hospital by the beach in the middle of the summer I had a great experience.

Beebe saw my girlfriend yesterday for a possible kidney stone which she is familiar with. After 7 hours we were told no stone was left and she passed the stone. She wasn t given anything for pain after discharge. 36 hours later we went back. She was cut off at the front desk trying to explain. After an hour in the waiting room in pain we left and had to sign an ama paper. Immediately went to Nanticoke hospital where they found not one but several stones. Good job Beebe I will never return. Also not to mention a nurse was reprimanded in the hall where everything could be hear. Horrible management!

I came here this morning following a negative 10 star worthy experience at Nanticoke in Seaford. I walked in, was triaged and in a room seeing the Dr within 15 minutes! Dr. Massey listened, asked good questions and had Trent my Nurse setting up my tests immediately. I had x rays and a CT within an hour. Had meds and was feeling much better with in another hour. I'm so glad I came here rather than giving Nanticoke another chance.

Being new the area, and reading such not so great reviews about this hospital, I was a little hesitant to come here. Aside from the triage nurse being VERY rude and condescending ( the entire waiting room of 5 of us had the same complaint about her) my visit was very good! From the ER nurse to the ER physician to the MRI technician, I was very impressed and felt that i was well taken care of. The doctors and nurses don t just stand over top of you to listen to your complaints, they actually sit down next to you and TRULY LISTEN! My concerns were taken very seriously and all of my questions, concerns and fears were never overlooked. Thank you Beebe, you made me feel safe and I was discharged with the best possible outcome. My total ER visit from walking in to walking out was just under 5 hours, and that s not bad at all being I had a few tests done. I would recommended for sure!

I was in emergency room. Laid down for 15', spoke to a nurse, and a doctor for less than 15' with 2 tablets relaxing muscle and my problems still there. And now I just received a phone call to notified that they charged me $1100.00 for emergency service. Which it rid of a patient budget. Such an expensive service!

Update: when I tried to called the hospital, there is no one to answer and voicemail was full. After decided to pay the bill. I received a collection bill from a company from the hospital. It was $100 some due. Is it possible just for $100 some ... and sent direct to debt collection? Such an overcharged to patient and made a wrong decision for such a small amount. Very annoying!

I would give 10 stars to the labor and delivery nurses! I had my baby boy here February 2019 and the aftercare from the nurses was amazing! However my labor and delivery experience was not the greatest...the anesthesiologist would NOT numb me all the way no matter how much I complained on the pain I was still feeling....she told me I was feeling "pressure" and it definetely was not pressure it was pain...I may as well not even had an epidural because I felt my whole delivery and my induction and labor was being controlled due to the doctors schedule as well....it was a horrible terrifying experience...

I have had several contacts with Beebe since moving here in September of 2016 and every one was the best I have ever experienced in this type of setting. My wife is an RN (OR) retiring out of Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, PA. With her critical eye she is, and has been, truly impressed with the hospital and the Beebe Medical Group. We simply cannot say enough as to the greatness of this institution.

My husband presented to the ER with chest pain and was admitted. Everyone that we encountered in his 2 day stay was absolutely wonderful. I have had 4 babies at Beebe, each time it was an awesome, memorable experience for my husband and I. Unfortunately, when i burned myself with boiling water this hospital was the closest to my location. I came to an ER. They gave me pain medicine which is fine. The nurse was trying to put bandage for like 15 minutes and as soon as i got up it fell down. Horrible! Did i mention they gave me nothing to protect my burn from bacteria? Anyway, two days later i fell down with a fever because my burn got infected. Duh! I thought i was dying, and i was so angry with them fot not properly healing me. So i went to a small walk-in clinic where a true competent doctor gave me the right stuff and told me that i should sue Beebe. I went to see my lawyer, she told me since i didnt get any lifelong complications i had a small chance of winnig the case. And yes, they pour tons of money for the best lawyers because they know they are bad incompetent screw-ups! If you can try to avoid this God forsaken place!

OUTPATIENT SURGERY:

OUTPATIENT SURGERY:
Arrived bright and early around 6:45am for outpatient surgery for cancer removal. They where quick to screen us, verify identities and direct us to our destination. Upon arrival upstairs we where greeted promptly and checked in. We waited maybe 15 minutes in the waiting room before I was taken back and prepped for surgery. They allowed my husband to sit in the pre-op with me while we waited for my turn. I was wheeled back for the procedure around 8:45 and was out before I knew it. I have no sore throat from the tubes and I really don't feel like I was operated on outside of tenderness and slight pain from the procedure. I was very groggy at first but doing very well shortly after and was discharged a short time later. The care and attentiveness of all the doctor's and staff was great. Everyone was kind and clean and organized and truly cared about me and any concerns I may have had. They took great care of me and I am so glad I had an amazing experience.

ICU nurses are very rude and carefree. If someone had a cardiac arrest in an ICU room they would certainly pass away due to the lack of urgency from the staff. No compassion whatsoever. Weren t diligent with patient s feeding, personal hygiene or even tending to open wounds. Most of the nurses in the ICU are rude to family members and visitors and unwilling to provide clarity. The communication between nurses and doctors is critical. ER is very disorganized and unprepared. Overall this facility just does not care about its patients given that the State won t take any measures.

When a stroke patient enters the ER and the admitting staff does not recognize the very obvious signs and neglect to admit that patient immediately - you know you would have better luck getting treatment at a gas station. This is the worst hospital. I'm sorry google requires reviewers to leave one star for a review.

I made an appointment to visit a former doctor of mine who had moved to Delaware. I informed the appointment desk at the time of the appointment that I was from out of town and wanted to visit my former doctor to review blood work. They knew at the time of the appointment that I was visiting and was not a permanent resident of the area. Upon arrival to my appointment they asked me if this doctor was my permanent physician. I indicated that I was not local and that I wanted to see him to review my blood work and get a referral locally. The front desk did not allow me to visit with this doctor and refused to speak with the doctor or even a consultation. They did not indicate at the time of the appointment this would be an issue and I was very clear that I was from out of town. This review is not a reflection the doctor but a huge reflection on the front desk and the poor service provided to me. I typically do not do reviews but I was very annoyed at the lack of compassion and the refusal of allowing me to visit the doctor when I had an appointment and they knew the circumstances when the appointment was made. I have never experience this before and felt that no doctor's office should refuse treatment or a visit when I have insurance and an appointment was properly made.

Nurses at this hospital are not in the habit of washing their hands. I witnessed one nurse with long painted nails skip hand washing, and then change an IV without gloves on. Like many of the nurses her hair was not pulled up above her shoulders. This was on their ICU unit.

Stayed a few nights for an infection. Wait time was pretty long from the start, but it's expected from a busy hospital. Had a majority of very good nurses, but some were so-so who didn't really check back to me. Would like to thank the following for providing exceptionally good service :
Nurse Elizabeth R
Nurse Veronica
Nurse Talisha
Asst. Mykayla + Tracey
Asst. Tammy

My husband went here to get stitches and while I thank God that he is okay and we are blessed that someone helped heal his wound, this hospital was all over the place. We live the same distance away from Beebe hospital as nanticoke. But, we went to this hospital as it's one my husband prefers. The front desk wasn't very friendly, there wasn't clear direction on if I was allowed into a room with him or not. The doctor didn't have a cheery bedside manner or a happy disposition. He seemed like he didn't want to be there to help my husband at all. The hospital itself was very clean and they did inform my husband on SOME aftercare procedures. Again, I thank the good Lord above for my husband's good health and hospital staff working to ensure the health of others. But, Nanticoke has provided more information with a happy smile to my family time and time again. This hospital was very chaotic and not so nice.

After I posted my review I read the others and realize this hospital has a problem and our loved ones are the victims of a seriously mismanaged hospital. Time to contact press and the state about the incompetence. It is time they fire management and replace them with compassionate empathetic competent management. People are seeking help and instead receiving horribly incompetent care. I will be asking both the press and governmental agencies to start looking into this!!

This hospital almost killed my mother. Their lack of communication among departments their disorganization. They send people home just cause they need a bed without medications needed for breathing etc. They should be shut down not expanded. They are seriously mismanaged and run like a body farm not a place for care! If you can avoid it send your loved ones elsewhere or make sure you are there to watch them like a hawk!!!

Mother was admitted to ER. Spent over 24 hours "waiting for a bed" which I understand may happen from time to time. Never experienced it at any other hospital and unfortunately have been to several due to mother's recurring health issues. Finally assigned a room only to transfer to ICU a free days later. Some of the staff have been nice and overall knowledgeable but about 75% of the staff seems ill trained and extremely rude for people in the medical field. In comparison to every hospital, and this includes repeated stays in another state, this hospital would rate negative if possible to do. The ICU nurses and techs assigned to the department were amazingly unprofessional.

I had a c-section performed by Dr. Joseph Knapp on November 12, 2020. The surgery went as planned, no complications. I was very pleased with Dr. Knapp s and the operation room team s work. All the nurses were great throughout our stay at the hospital, especially Anna, Kim, Sam, and Ashley.

A special thank you to Dr. Laura Holloway; what an outstanding professional and an awesome human being!
And the Dietary lady was a real MVP!

I want to thank all of the staff at the hospital for there professionalisms. The doctor s, nurses, food service, and respiratory. I want to thank Alaina Pearl - RN for going out of her way for speeding up the process for me to go home and finish my recovery.

My son in law recently had a triple bypass at Beebe. Dr. Wehberg and his team were amazing. From pre-op to post-op everyone was kind and professional. The nurses, dietary, rehab, respiratory, EVS, volunteers etc made a challenging stay a positive experience for my son in law and family. We highly recommend Beebe.

The staff are UNPROFESSIONAL, UNTRAINED, and lacked COMPASSION. If you lack any of these, there is no need to be in the medical field if you don t care about a persons life. I seriously can t stand this hospital and the staff members! You literally have to be on top of them with everything they do, and it is ridiculous. The whole department needs to be wiped out with better trained workers who actually care! If I could rate this hospital a 0 I surely would!

My mom went to the hospital with severe pain, got a number of tests done on her, was told they couldn't find anything wrong.

If you are looking for a hospital with that can take care of a patient with more than one symptom this is NOT the hospital for you!
This is the second time that my family has had inconsistent, incomplete and conflicting care plans for my dad! The staff is reluctant to coordinate care or even communicate with any other doctor the patient has been working with for a related condition I.e cardiologist with vascular department! This leads to more complications and less long term health goals. The staff was unprofessional when the family was asking for clarity.
In addition the ICU unit is not procedural- lack of follow up and even protocols like wearing gloves for examination was rare.
If you need serious medical attention- go elsewhere!
