The patience and care was exceptional. The "Behavioral RN" went the second mile for our grandson. I saw her heart and perseverance amid the bureaucratic hurdles. It/she prevailed for his benefit. thank You.

The nurses are nice but they waste to many pharmacy medicine they use a little bit and then throw away and bring more the same she putting in a trashcan weeks after you get the service fee for not having medical insurance you stay bankrupt to pay $8500 in 2 years. And That s not include Dr. Bills$$$ radiology service$$$
Doctors were rude, popped my should out of socket and put it back in myself. Doctors didn't help whatsoever, still can't move my arm and they sent me home with Ibuprofen . Awful experience at this hospital don't even want to give it one star
Had to go to the ER while on vacation and had a really good stay here. They were very prompt to fix the issue I was dealing with and super nice and respectful. You can tell some of the low reviews people are giving are BS, and they are most likely leaving big parts of their story out..
Horrific treatment for the week I spent there!! Had some really good nurses but the are working under horrible conditions. Bed was so uncomfortable that my neck and back hurt so bad I couldn t stand it and wasn t there for either. Was sent home from ED and bounced back 4 hrs later this time wo ambulance.
CHEAP HAND SANITIZER STUNK and couple of nurses aids took bath in perfume and made me MORE SICK until I made them stay out of my room!!! Actually had them sign me out before ready bc bed and smells made me sicker and actually spent 10 more days in another hospital that read CT scan correctly and then treated me correctly too
We were in vacation when my wife got sick sand went to the ER. They took great care of us and went through troubleshooting to figure out what was wrong. Eventually was admitted and the nurses on the 5th floor we're amazing, Kay, Carmela, Candace and so many more
My Aunt is in the hospital dying of cancer, and pneumonia in her lung, on tube feedings, etc. And I was there for 3 hours and didn't see none of the Nurses on the 5th floor wash their hand or use hand Sanitizer, before or after patient contact, even after doing a glucose check.... This is a BIG DEAL. I work for one for one of the largest health care systems in the Nation and this is WAY BELOW standards...
Went to Beebe for a routine blood test. They called the next day to say they did not take enough blood. Could I come back. These folks are clowns.
All staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. They put me at ease and I received wonderful care.
I arrive at the hospital at 2pm and been sitting in the hallway in the emergency for over 2 hours
I wouldn t even rate it one star. When I went in because I couldn t walk, I asked everybody if I was in observation, and they said no. Then, once I was discharged I got a bill for $400 that said I needed to pay for observation. I sent an email to Bebe and it got denied. I went to Bebe and they wouldn t help me. Worst hospital ever. They don t really care about the patients after.
If i could give a negative 5 i would! Avoid this place at all costs! They discharged my mom twice while she was in tremendous pain saying they couldn t figure it out and both times released her with the wrong meds!! If they can t figure it out they should transfer the patient to somewhere that knows what they are doing!!
My sister had extreme stomach pain and vomiting for 2 days, they told her it was from smoking marijuana. Then they said they would take her back when they had a bed available. When we went back we passed 5 empty beds and 3 empty rooms. On the intake the lady tried to tell her she had cyclic vomiting syndrome from the marijuana. NOT EVEN POSSIBLE. Marijuana is used to treat cyclic vomiting syndrome. Can't wait for the new Bayhealth Hospital to open in Milford.
During a visit with family last Christmas, my husband who is a diabetic had a malfunction with his insulin pump. The staff was totally uneducated about insulin pumps. One nurse even asked if he could see it because he had never seen one. My husband was admitted into the hospital. He was in ICU..............not sure why. The staff had no idea how to deal with a diabetic patient and as soon as the diabetic nurse educator came to see him (after the weekend), she was appalled at the treatment methods they were giving him. We called his endocrinologist in Pittsburgh and she advised us to come home ASAP to receive proper treatment. As if that wasn't enough, the accounting department at this establishment is unprofessional, rude and as careless as the medical staff. If you are going to be vacationing in this area, beware if you become ill.
This is the best experience I've had at any hospital I've ever been to. Every staff I've come in contact with is pleasant, esp the doctor and nurse that I've seen. They both are understanding, kind, and explain everything in a clear and easy to understand way. They have gone out of their way to help me not only here but to make sure I understand all my options and resources in the community as well.

Well, has anyone had a serious issue with a relative that went to this hospital, cause a relative walked into Beebe. And. Died 2 days later. With no explanation of what the staff. Had done. Or not done
Worst hospital I have ever used in my 76 years. Check-in was.most unpleasant. Was.there for vascular scan but got sent from 1st floor to 4th and back to 1st. Finally found vascular lab. Waited 10 minutes and then was asked.if I had checked in at x-ray. What!!!?? No one ever told me that I needed to go there to get my bracelet. What a screwup. Got my bracelet and proceeded.to wait and wait until she could take. Only 1 person doing procedures. I do have to say that she was very nice and apologized again and again. I know there is a new CEO there now. Well, he had better get this place in shape. I won't be going back there until it's improved.
These people ignore Medigap policies. Get ready for a long, drawn-out battle.
I had my daughter here back in October. The staff was great to me especially considering I'd been in almost every day that month with labor pains.

I had a cardiac catheterization and showed up with a broken foot, which I had broken a few hours earlier. My nurse April was extremely patient with me, Dr. Q sent me for an x-ray and delayed my procedure to make sure I could go thru it with my foot the way it was. The entire team, but especially April, were great. My only complaint would be the back up at the security desk, waiting to get a visitor pass, as a patient, I think there should be a better way to allow us thru. But overall, very satisfied!
Like all emergency rooms extremely slow. But after patiently waiting for doctor to return to go over test results. Have to deal with one of the most rude doctor. She snapped that they are busy very unprofessional.
Every single time I've been at thia hospital thw triage nurse is rude and miserable. The response is fairly quick but the billing and coding is incompetent. Every single time they get it wrong and try to extort money from a government insurance.
A 13 hr wait in the ER on a stretcher and no care-no IV, oxygen, pain meds etc with blood clots in my lung and leg.
Consistent hassles at Beebe labs trying to get doctor's orders completed. Leaving frustrated and angry.
And insurance information inputted incorrectly creating hassles with bills that should have been paid.
I am currently looking for NEW doctors that are NOT affiliated with Beebe.
Katrina Sellers was the absolute worst nurse I have ever had in my whole life. She was extremely unfriendly and made me sit in pain for 5 hours without anything accomplished. I would rather drive home from the beach than wait here again. Worst hospital I have ever been to.
absolutely horrible. do not ever step foot in this establishment. I was verbally abused from both the African American woman at the front desk and from the two security guards. they ripped my phone out of my hands because I wanted to document their abuse and they deleted my photos from my camera roll and told me taking pictures of them is illegal.

I was feeling very uncomfortable because I couldn t breathe and that made me upset, but from the start the wonderful ladies at the front took care of me quickly. While being treated by nurse Amanda, respiratory aid/therapist Nancy, and Dr. Harris I felt better. They were professional and very caring towards me.
Horrible hospital very unprofessional I went to the hospital for a hit and run accident I was involved at work I first went the day after the accident on July the 3 so on July 4 th I went extremely sore they had me in the hallway the whole time I was never in a room !! They gave me some muscle relaxers but did NOT WORK !! Still in extreme pain ,so I went back to the hospital today (July 9) they took my information down then they had us waiting in the waiting room when it was empty , so I finally get called again they have me sitting in the hallway for hours ( 4 hours to be exact ) so the DR comes up I told him what happened that s when I said can I have a cat scan he said foooooor what I said for my head I get headaches he said that s normal in a car accident luckily my boyfriend came back from the bathroom and told that DR she needs a cat scan , the DR denied it at first and I could tell he really didn t want to give the cat scan he s exact words were it s really expensive I said my work is paying for it since it happened on the job, next time I need to go to the hospital for any reason I m going to Milford
This hospital has a history of being threatened for suits for malpractice. Delaware is a State of "Don't rock the boat" where the healthy and wealthy need not be bothered. This idea manifests inside this hospital in the worst of ways. Are you dying? DOCTORS will claim you are "of poor condition" and refuse to give actual medical feedback. Their commitment consists of the bare minimum necessary by law but they'll gladly send suicidal alcoholics home with naught but a phone number; simply because the patient "can walk a bit" and "know the time of day".
Delaware is full of the old and wealthy, such a shock to see the healthcare not be up to par.
Do not ever think to go that place again . .. Total waste of money and time.
I suffered a silly accident at home Thursday evening and ended up with excruciating pain in my foot. I am so thankful that Beebe Healthcare Emergency Department is only a few miles away from my home. It ended up that I have broken my ankle. The care from the moment I walked in was wonderful. I can't say enough. I could see the waiting room was extremely busy. Still, the triage nurse came out, asked me several questions and let me know if would be a little while. I knew I wasn't dying and I am sure there were people with much more serious injuries than I. The x-ray tech gave me a painless x-ray. The ER physician Dr. Haldar was excellent and clearly experienced. The clearly experienced emergency medicine nurse George Austin was gentle and thorough, and I believe had a good idea it was broken, though didn't say anything until the results of the x-ray were read and Dr. Haldar discussed the situation with me. Anyway, I am now home, immobilized and I have my referral for Monday with Lewes ankle specialist Dr. Orsini.
Last night I went to Beebe hospital with chest pain. I've been in afib all day and as it's settled down I started having chest pain. Now the reason I tell you this is because I want to tell you how good the doctors and nursing staff at Beebe were to me. They wasted no time and took me right in. They gave me an EKG and ran blood work and a chest x-ray right away. They made me feel very comfortable and took care of my every need. Beebe Hospital hospital redeemed them selves today. I have a renewed faith in them. I have been critical of Beebe Hospital ever since my wife died because of how I felt she was cared for or not cared for. But they met my every need last night and I'm happy to say I am home and doing well. The doctor did not want me to come home pleaded in Earnest that I Stay. But I've had test after test and they all came back negative and in the past I have stayed for the for five days only to be told they can't find anything that's wrong. So I guess I'll live with this chest pain. But thanks to BB I know that I am fine and I am grateful to them and their staff for that. The emergency department has five stars from me
Worst hospital I have ever seen. Took my infant child to emergency. They couldnt admit him for almost an hour or more due to lack of room I was told. But they sure did make sure we had health insurance which we did. Not even a nurse would come out and speak to us and check my child. When he finally got admitted, their staff and doctor had no clue. One nurse in the E.R was highly motivated and caring. They finally called I.A Dupont Children Hospital and he got transferred. My child died couple days later. We found out he had a heart attack.
I was warned before about Beebe, but we had no other choice since it is the closest location from where we live in Lewes.
