Beavertail Lighthouse Review

Great place for photos! The museum was not open yet, but really want to visit when it is!! The history of the lighthouse is really cool.

I have been going there since I was a child.
Great place for a picnic, kite flying and relaxing. If your visiting Rhode Island this is a "must see".

I am a lighthouse collector and follower. While my wife and I were in Jamestown RI we decided to visit Beavertail lighthouse.We were really impressed with the grounds at the lighthouse park.We are planning to visit Beavertail lighthouse park again this week and spending more time just enjoying scenery while eating lunch and reading books.

A great place to view the ocean, and especially if you like the waves breaking on a rocky coastline.

My favorite place in RI...perfect for a damily picnic, or just exploring the waterfront look8ng for shells...definatly a must-see destination in Rhode Island

History at it finest. Great views of the ocean. Knowable guide. It is the 3rd oldest light house in the area. Quaint gift shop.

Absolutely breathtaking views, and wonderful history.

The drive to this point is a little long and monotonous but it's absolutely worth it any day. Beautiful panoramic view of ocean and charming lighthouse. Gem in Jamestown, RI...

They have restrooms too !!

Amazing views museum was closed but worth the trip anyway

Excellent views, I'd recommend grabbing a deck chair and a cool box and just relaxing here for an hour or two.

Very interesting little museum free of charge! I learned a lot about lighthouses.

Nice beautiful place. But alot of people. No really a place to swim.

One of the nicer Lighthouses in Rhode Island that you can actually tour inside and learn about its history and see old and new artifacts. There's a gift shop and volunteers/workers who explain some of the items on display. There are outdoor bathrooms for your convenience.

It was a bummer the inside was closed but still a beautiful view of the bay.

Great for the kids and family. The lighthouse offers a small museum employee with knowledgeable staff. The views from the top are amazing.

This place is one of Rhode Island's most beautiful Scenic spots there is a few to Narragansett and also a view to Aquidneck Island . Newport!

A friend introduced me to beavertail over 30 years ago and I have loved this place ever since.

Friendly rangers, great views, hands on aquarium, coastal rock to explore.

Although the museum was closed, there were plenty of places outside to take photos and videos. Do not swim.

Always great to visit here. Rock hopping, tidepools with critters and great views.

Really great definitely worth a look, the museum was nice and pretty big. They have a seasonal aquarium which was really pretty awesome. And it's nice to walk around and take in the views

Historic lighthouse with great walking trials nearby for exploring the numerous glacial coves.
