Robert Jordan Health Services LLC Review

I grew up a two-sport athlete who played baseball and basketball my entire life (and never stretched) although I never had any problems until I graduated from college. At this point I had stopped playing sports seven days a week and began focusing on work at which point I began experiencing severe pain in my lower back and right leg. It got to the point where my back spasms became so bad that I couldn't even sleep.

With Robert's expert knowledge and help I was able to get rid of the pain in my back and leg in a few short sessions. Robert not only gave me a short term solution to my discomfort but he also taught how to stretch my body properly in order to prevent future pain --through a series of isolated stretching techniques. Robert's vast and expert knowledge about the human body and his ability to recognize and address the problems areas in one's body in order to set up a system to help alleviate the pain in these areas is incredible.

I must also note that aside from his extensive medical/healing knowledge Robert genuinely cares about his clients on a much deeper level and takes the time to make sure his patients are getting what they need because he is concerned with their well-being-- this is not just during the time he spends with them but post treatment as well. I can give Robert this sincere and whole-hearted recommendation because he has helped me regain my body and because he is a good friend

I have been vegan for 3 years now and just last year I started having a bad rash on my face. My hair was also falling out. After seeing a homeopath for a few months, my symptoms were pretty much the same. I came across Robert Jordan Health Services because I was looking for someone who would help me while allowing me to remain vegan (most doctors told me that if I ate meat and dairy that I would get better).

I couldn't be more pleased with Robert and Isabel's services. Not only have I been able to stay vegan, but Isabel has given me the guidance I needed to truly resolve the root of my issues and help me grow spiritually and mentally. After tweaking my diet and doing sessions weekly for 2 months, my symptoms are almost gone, I can't remember the last time I felt this light and happy, and I am confident that once I am back to optimum health, I'll only need to have annual sessions.

I truly believe that Isabel and Robert have my best interests in mind, and I have complete confidence that after working with them I will have the tools to live a healthy and happy life.

I have been to many colon hydrotherapy facilities in both the DC area and FL and am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with Robert and his knowledge, care and bedside manner, and the vast array of products and services that he provides. He is TRULY a HEALER.

I went to him for colon hydrotherapy. He has the open system which is the most comfortable. He is very ORGANIZED, CLEAN, and METHODICAL and you can tell he has been doing this THE RIGHT WAY for MANY YEARS. He shared with me today (which was my first time/visit) that he has been practicing these methods for 17+ years!

He has so many reading materials, pamphlets, products, and other items that can help you. You can tell that he just wants to help others yet never imposes his knowledge. However, he will further help and educate the curious!

His practice is out of his home which is very welcoming and full of great energy. He even burned sage in my treatment room and gave me a probiotic and a few healthy homemade vegan treats after my session.

Robert really goes the extra mile! And I will be back for more!

I have been going to Robert Jordan Health Services for approximately 2 years. Robert and Isabel are very knowledgeable about the services they offer and approach their offering of services with the mindset of educating their clients about total wellness. Since going to them, I have felt greater relief from joint pain as well as much better elimination. I wholeheartedly recommend Robert Jordan Health Services for the services it provides.

I used robert Jordan's services about 5 years ago. I used to lift a lot of weights and in my 30's I herniated a disk in my lower back. I was about 49 at the time and I'd been suffering with back issues on and off for quite a while. I was going through a rather severe flare up when I began doing research on ways to fix the extremely painful sciatica I was feeling.

I quickly read something about Trigger Point therapy, and I Googled practitioners in the Maryland area and came up with Robert Jordan. I spent a total of $220 for two separate sessions and my long standing pain was gone.

As I recall Robert used Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) techniques. All i can say is Robert Jordan is a massage master. He's excellent at what he does, and you'd be hard pressed to find better.

He explained breathing techniques and went out of his way to teach me how to help myself when not in his presence. I would use him again in an instant if I ever have these back issues again. Five stars is not enough for someone who alleviates pain as masterfully as Robert Jordan so I give him a 6!

After being in a car accident in 2010, I have had chronic back pain. I was treated at an applied kinesiology chiropractic practice for three years after the accident. I never had lasting improvement in my condition. Before the accident, I was very active--running, weight lifting, horse riding. I had to stop or significantly reduce all of those activities due to my back injury. I found a flyer for Robert Jordan Health Services and went for an evaluation. After just a few sessions, I was able to start a running plan again. I have been a client at Robert Jordan Health Services since March 2012, and I have seen lasting improvement in my condition that 3+ years of chiropractic care never gave me. Robert is very skilled in all areas of his practice. I recommend this practice without any reservation, whatsoever.

I went to Robert Jordan Health Services for the first time and worked with Isabel. She did an excellent job of welcoming me, explaining the procedure, administering the treatment, and helping me to feel comfortable. I definitely plan on going back and would recommend their colon hydrotherapy services to all.

You won't break the bank going to him and he is conscientious about how he suggests treatments. Highly recommended.

As a client for three plus years, I can say for myself that the care rendered by Robert Jordan Healthcare Services is extraordinary.
Ms. Isabel coached me, and continues to guide me, through very difficult dietary changes. These changes have improved my daily activities ten fold! This journey is full of obstacles which sometime seem like barriers, but with each obstacle comes more growth and more knowledge.
Everytime I have a question for Mr. Jordan, he comes out with several books, and several articles with answers to my questions.
Over the years we all have become friends and I always enjoy my appointments!

I truly don't know how to describe this experience. It actually took me a couple of weeks to write this review.

First, I have to say, this was my very first colon hydrotherapy session ever, and it was a very creepy experience for me.

I knew that the session was in a house, but did not expect the session to literally be performed in a bedroom -- as in the past, I have gone to see doctors who operate out of their homes, but a portion of the home was setup like a doctor's office and away from any activity going on in the home.

I was greeted at the door by my name (by Robert). No other words were spoken as he guided me to the bedroom. He told me to have a seat and gave me paperwork to fill out.

I am sure it was obvious I was nervous, but Robert did nothing to break the ice. No conversation, and no eye contact.

After I filled out the paperwork, he gave me a brief overview of how everything worked and told me to take my pants off, get on the table thingy (I don't even know what to call it, the explanation was so brief), then cover myself with a very thin, tiny blanket that only covered my thighs -- and he would be back.

I did as I was instructed to do, but not before closing the blinds to a window that was facing someone else's back yard. There was another window with no covering right where I spread my legs and put my feet in the holders. (The more I write, the more I can't believe I did this.)

He came back to make sure I inserted the hose properly and explained how to turn on and off the water.

He did keep checking on me, and got friendly when he recommended that I do two sessions that day since I had a lot to get out. I agreed. He mentioned it again, and said, "You'll pay for two" as if I had expected him to give it to me for free.

I finished the first session, and had to buzz him when I felt like I was going to vomit toward the end of the second session. He seemed a little bothered by my disturbing him.

I made it through the entire colonic (Hallelujah!), but then it came time to clean up. Robert began handing me a couple of baby wipes (for my adult sized bum) and a couple of paper towels -- and stood over me while I attempted to wipe all this mess off of me. I was so thouroghly grossed out and felt my privacy was being violated. He was actually rationing the wipes and towels like the cost of service would not afford him to buy more. I would have felt much better with a basin of warm water and some soap.

I managed to put my clothes on and was at least allowed to use his restroom where I could wipe myself further (and use soap though this may upset him).

He got friendly again when he asked for my card, and asked if I wanted to schedule another session.

I felt so dirty leaving this place, and would never ever do this again outside of a professional environment, and not with a man as the administrator (sorry guys, but that was too much for me to handle). Fortunately, I found a woman with a sterile facility who I will be going to this week.

This felt like one of those abortion clinics you would see in the movies before abortion was legal. It felt like I was doing something no one should know about. Just creepy!

I say all of that to say, I would definitely do another colon hydrotherapy session, hence the two stars, but just not at this house.

I had ACL reconstruction surgery and was looking for the right care to get me back into competitive tennis again. Robert is masterful in his knowledge and practice of Active Isolated Stretching (Aaron Mattes method) which has helped strengthen my knee and entire body. It has helped so much that I even surprised my tennis partner. During a match, I went after a ball I would normally not get to in time or in fear of hurting my knee. Luckily I had an AIS session with Robert just before the match. So I felt confident to go for the ball, got to it, and even had to yell to my doubles partner to turn around and keep playing as she had assumed the point was lost and had turned around. We won the point! I'm so grateful for the excellent work Robert does which has me competitive again, even with a reconstructed ACL.
I'd highly recommend Robert for AIS and he's thorough to the point of ensuring I knew stretches I could do at home to help myself.

Robert is a careful and thoroughly professional therapist who includes a discussion of history, objectives, and inspiration in his technique. His approach is entirely relaxing and effective. He is my favorite of many therapist over the years.

I highly recommend Robert Jordan Health Services. I have seen Isabelle for nutritional health, and Robert for Active Isolated Stretching (AIS). The people, the location, and the process is not what I initially expected.. and they are absolutely amazing! I was scheduled for back surgery before I started AIS with Robert, and I am currently pain-free after AIS. Robert even taught me how to do the stretches by myself at home. I have struggled with stomach and intestinal issues since I was a teenager. After health and diet analysis, cleansing, and nutritional guidance, I am in better health than I ever been in my life; I feel better than I did in my twenties! Robert and Isabelle are both caring and wise, and offer a peaceful and healing environment. I have recommended them to multiple friends and colleagues & currently four of them see Robert and/or Isabelle. If you are curious and unsure, schedule a consultation. You will not be pressured, and they will make you feel comfortable.

If everyone had a healer like Robert in their life, the world would be a different place.
Hydrotherapy has done so much for me and my family. There was a reason I stumbled upon reviews that led me to experience everything Robert brings to wellness and a balanced lifestyle!

I have worked with Robert and Isabel for over 6 months now and feel like I have known them for an eternity. As I started my journey of being a vegan I was in search of a naturopathic pratictioner who could "walk the walk', and "talk the talk". I feel very blessed to not have to have searched very far. If you are looking for the total mind,body, and soul experience to healing naturally this is the place to be. From the raw vegan instruction to colon hydrotherapy, to the plethera of literature they expose you to in every session. Robert and Isabel have not only given me the knowledge and tools to become a better me, they have also changed my life drastically, were I have gained so much self awarness, empowerment, and self-actualization. I can not imagine ever going anywhere else to get the services that they provide. I highly recommend them if you truly want to change your life !

Robert is a very knowledgeable and caring professional who really knows what he's talking about and helps in a meaningful and caring way. I saw him today for the first time for a colon hydrotherapy session and was very impressed with his kindness, sage advice, and expertise. He has a lovely home office, very profesional, with the excellent LIBBE colon hydrotherapy open-system device, the best one there is in my opinion. I ve been working with Robert for years for colon hydrotherapy and body work (isometric stretching and lymphatic drainage) and recently visited him for several sessions of stretching while in my third trimester. We underestimate the importance of having long and lean pelvic, hip, core and leg muscles and their role in the delivery process; additionally, stretching in his method moves stagnant blood and lymph during a time when the body could otherwise feel heavy, sore, full. Robert was wonderful, efficient and kind during these sessions - I always felt better after a session and was able to build my muscle, confidence and flexibility. Last week I was able to deliver my 9 pound baby efficiently and quickly. I m gratitude of my care team, I wrote a haiku:

I loved my experience with Isabel and the team. My journey toward health has really taken off since visiting RJHS. I am thankful for the care they take with each client and the level of investment they make to make sure each client is able to take big steps toward greater, deeper health. I have been a client of RJHS for two years. Robert and Isabel have been extremely helpful in my improvements toward a healthier lifestyle.

Robert's one-on-one sessions of Active Isolated Stretching on my upper body resulted in an immediate improvement in the flexibility in my neck. After the very first of three sessions, I was able to turn my head at the neck to be able see to the right and left at Stop sign, rather than having to turn my whole upper body from the waist. The one-on-one sessions with Robert on the lower body were equally beneficial. Isabel was very helpful in teaching me the correct techniques stretching at a workshop (now to do them daily on my own!).

I have also had colonics at RJHS. Admittedly, colon hydrotherapy is an odd treatment and difficult to talk about. However, it is very effective at cleansing an otherwise inaccessible part of your body and ridding yourself of years of accumulated debris. Isabel is very brave, recently massaging my lower abdomen and clearing some gas that had been troubling me.

I highly recommend RJHS.
