I've been going to see Peter at Beaver Bats since 2010. I've brought whole teams in for bats, along with just my own sons (RC24, B72, B24, as soon as you reopen!). NO disappointments. Every age "Slugger" is a Hall of Famer at Beaver. Top-notch bats with great baseball info and stories every time you visit.

From what I understand, if you get what you ordered, they are decent bats at a decent price. I ordered 2 29" bats and received 1 that is 29" but the other is 30". Since they are no longer in Oceanside, the phone number doesn't work and I've emailed 3 times asking for a replacement. No response to any of my emails. Not a huge deal, hopefully he doesn't break the 29" this weekend and we can use the 30" next spring, but a little customer service would be appreciated.

I ordered a couple of bats from Beaver Bats and received them about 5 business days later. The bats were beautifully made, but the 32" I ordered was about a quarter of inch too small, I guess it was because the bat was cupped to subtract the weight. In any case, I called up to voice my displeasure and the company sent me a brand new bat in 3 days! They also surprised me with a free engraving. The guys at Beaver Bats really care about their customers and obviously want to make sure that everyone is satisfied. I would highly recommend them. More importantly, the bats have great pop. Thank you Beaver Bats!

Sold me package deal, used 5 times, poor quality and does not back there product. Poor customer service. I have purchased many bats thru them over the years. Shame.

Pete and the other guys there are always ready to deal with and very patient . Real baseball people and happy to talk the game.

Where do I begin? After successfully ordering 3 bats previously, I placed an order on Feb 20 at the Oceanside store as a birthday present for my grandson. I was told it would be ready in a week or two. After 2 weeks, I call and left a voicemail asking if the order was finished. I received no response so I emailed them. Again, no response. After leaving an additional 7 voicemails and 4 emails, I still never received a response. Today was the worse though. I called early this morning at 8:19 and shockingly, they answered the phone. I explained that I left numerous messages both by phone and email but never received a response. I asked him if the bat was ready and he said I don t know but I ll be here all day so you can come down and see . I advised the gentleman that I live quite far away and I would rather know if it s ready before I made that trip. He told me that he would call me back in 10 minutes and let me know. Not hearing from him for more than two hours, I decide to take the chance and drive the 40 miles to his business. When I got there, NO ONE WAS THERE. I called him again from his store and was forced to leave another voicemail. Admittedly, this one wasn t so nice.
Long story short, it is 20 days until my grandsons birthday and I still don t know if I m getting that bat or not. This type of customer service and consideration is completely unacceptable. Lying to your customers and not having the courtesy of giving a response is also unacceptable, especially with someone who had previously bought three bats within a month from you. I honestly think that he never thought I would be calling that early in the morning and just answered the phone. Anyone who is thinking of ordering from this company should really think twice. I don t know what happened between my last 3 orders and this this order, but it s like dealing with two different companies and people. All I can say is, if you have other options, consider using them. If I should happen to get a phone call from this gentleman and get my bat, I will update this review.

High quality product for affordable prices. Just as good if not better than the top brand names. Great customer service. Worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. Only bat I swing.

As a freshman and sophomore in college I used other more popular brand models but struggled. Beaver bats got me a bat that was better balanced for my swing. Leading me to much more success in my junior and senior year!

Beavers Bats is the number one source for our wood bats. Excellent quality and the owner is truly a man of his word. My son plays with all type of bats but Beaver Bats is the only bat he plays with all the time. We have have brought wood bats for years and never disappoints. Beaver Bats is the best and I am 100% satisfied customer. Thank you Beaver Bats for years of excellent quality and baseball support.

Great place to go if you love baseball and need a wood bat. The owner, Peter, will take his time with you, talk about different bats, what kind of bat this guy or that guy uses, he's into it and it's a lot of fun. When it comes to making the bat, his bats are better made and from better wood than the $200 store-bought models, for a third of the price or less. We've bought many bats there, none have broken in 4 years. In the past we'd go through 2 bats a season.

Solid wood bats for a fraction of the cost of other places. Hard to find if you are driving to pick up. They could use an office manager

Price was good, ordering was easy. However, the quality of the bats are mediocre. You get what you pay for. Customer service was unresponsive. I ordered an MLB quality maple and the bat I received has a slight bend in it (bat on the left in the photo). It wobbles if I roll it on a flat surface. I took pictures and emailed the company. I never received a response, much less an explanation or opportunity to correct it. So, I spent my money on a bat that I just use as a practice bat. If the company would have replied and corrected the issue, they would have a customer for life. Instead, I will not be ordering from them again.

I've been dealing with Beaver bats for 3 years now and they are the best in town . The owner Pete is wonderful and very knowledgeable. They will customize any bat making it professional even MLB grade for around 85 bucks. I would recommend going here for your wood bats before Model's or Dick's. Beaver bats blows them away. You can even order from them online and either pick it up or have it delivered

Nice place to deal with. They have a wide variety of bats available for baseball players of all ages.
Compared to what I have seen on other sites, the price is well within everyones means.
My only gripe is the bat was label wrong and it was cupped instead of rounded. Other wise it's ok.

Have purchased 4 bats from The Beaver Bat Company. Was very pleased until recently when there was an issue with an order. I ordered a birch bat model AM22, second one I ordered. After a couple of hits we noticed it sounded and felt different. Upon closer look the sticker showed it was made of maple. I sent an email requesting to return in exchange for a corrected bat. I was told it was correct the sticker was wrong. I advised them of the feel and sound and they requested a picture of the cup. I sent it and received an email confirming it was maple. I again requested to return the maple bat for a birch bat. After no response to multiple emails I called and left a voicemail. I then got a call stating that it was correct and the sticker was wrong. Unfortunately I can not trust their this response and feel I am being brushed off. Buyer beware! If there is an issue, this company will not do what is considered normal customer service or treat the customer with respect. I feel cheated, lied to and mistreated.

Tried to order product online and hit a snag, called to see what happened and treated very disrespectfully. I don't care if this is the wonderbat, customer service is so poor would not attempt to order from again.

Bat was made and shipped quickly however I was sent the wrong size and weight and never heard back.
