Great school. Wonderful staff. My daughter has excelled there from kindergarten through 5th grade.. I have found they offer different learning options depending on your child's learning abilities. If your child gets behind in reading, then they offer a reading group, etc. They are well organized and teach respect plus they have a good PTO and offer fun family events like movie nights and last year a carnival.

Both my children have attended Beaver Acres from Kinder to 5th grade. We love this school and the teachers. The principal Ms. Geale is a strong leader. The teachers at Beaver Acres are wonderful. We couldn't ask for a better school.
The staff is irreplaceable. The school has received awards for the best elementary school in Oregon under Ms. Geale's guidance.
I have spent many hours at this school and have seen how things are run.

Beaver acres has continued to impress me with how well they treat the children and staff. My son is in his 3rd year there and has had some rough times in school and at home and they have always been supportive and understanding. As a mother I can't express how gratefully I am for the staff and teachers at beaver acres for always making my son feel comfortable and respected. I know there are a lot of students there but they never have made it feel like they don't have enough time for me (as a parent) or my son(student).
Everytime I go in to that school you can tell that the teachers, principal, and staff are behind every student and that every child is treated with respect.

Where to start...this school is SO focused on the ESL and head start for the hispanic kids. Now I understand that ESL is important but they have lost sight of the other children in this school. Since the old principal left the school the new principal has no clue on how to run this place. They refuse to raise the bar, to challenge the kids. They accept that you these kids are NOT ready for middle school. Their falling standards is sad....I have seen both my kids go from A students to D students in less than a year..when my my kids ask me to home school them because they are bored because the work its too easy, that throws a huge RED FLAG.....also they have a"new" math...and when did 2+2 no longer equal 4?? These kids are encouraged to use a calculator in 4th grade..not to check their work but to do their work...this is why this school is failing these kids! They want to do as little as possible when it comes to teaching. There are a few good teachers but they are few and far between. My two kids will not be returning to to this school next year.
