You get what you pay for. Rooms, food, spa, location all more than we expected. You have a feeling you live in a historical place but yet you have all the modern amenities you would ever need. We went in July. Spa/pool area was +++++

A great hotel steeped in history and in a prime location with magnificent views to the lake. World class staff and service. My room overlooking the lake was comfortable, clean and modern, despite the age of the hotel.

One of the most beautiful palaces in the world. Magnificent location and infrastructure. Good valet service. Great rooms. Sublime spa. Top restaurants. 2 downsides: Sometimes a lack of training for trainees on the terrace and at the pool. And second, a better choice of wines and a wider choice (I'm not talking about Madame Pic's restaurant), both in the restaurants and bars and by the pool.

Great location/view, splendid rooms (guess it also needs to be based on which kind of room was booked), good service (some outstanding and some a little room for improvement), great facilities, good choice of good restaurants, thus a top hotel. The only point of critics would be that there was one staff member who was somewhat arrogant and that one never can be versus a guest! No faults otherwise!

Beau Rivage is the ultimate luxury hotel we ever tried. Every detail is perfect. Service is impeccable and courteous. We had the most delightful holiday. New wing is beautiful but they should consider offering espresso machines in all rooms, its pretty standard Nowadays.

The Beau-Rivage Palace or the BRP as it is known to me, has been part of my evolutionary process since before I am able to remember, so a long time. It is still a landmark in every sense of the expression; it is an impressive building with a long history; but it is also a beacon of high quality in service, in client satisfaction, in products and as a thoughtful and modern hotel. We booked a lovely room and received an upgrade which was wonderful; and what a room - every single detail has been thought about and provided for. The bed is excellent; the room layout, modern and beautifully appointed. We had little trays of wonderful chocolates and a bowl of fruit; we wanted to spend as much time as possible there.
But, we didn t, because we booked a table at Ann Sophie Pic who has a restaurant in the hotel; and we were torn, because we did not want to leave the restaurant either. I might write an essay about what we chose to eat and how excellent it was, from start to end; how well the restaurant worked and the first-class service which the guests receive, or the fineness of each dish, or the attention shown in every domain; but I won t because you should try it for yourselves. One thing I shall say; the wine list is world-class; and we found a bottle of the rarest Tuscan wine which raised the evening another notch, if that were possible. This time, I won t wait another twenty years to return.

PIC restaurant I am not generally disappointed but not completely packed. So YES very fine, beautifully presented, quality products. but it missed in my eyes some touches of originality .. the little plus that makes that we want another portion. Here is very good, but he missed a little daring.
