We liked Beaver Creek. The mountain itself has a ton of slopes ranging from easy green to double blacks. There are some great runs that go across the mountains, which is cool to do. There are plenty of dining and hotel options both ski in and farther afield. A bit pricey but it's one of the top resorts so you get what you pay for.

The terrain is excellent, with great grooming daily. Green terrain at the top of the mountain is perfect for beginners to intermediate, and Rose Bowl is a gem. Best of all, get to the bottom at 3pm for freshly baked chocolate chip cookies!

Snowboarded here last season and enjoyed the snow but the runs where short compared to other resorts. Employees are very professional. Overall satisfying experience paid for with high prices on lodging, restaurants, lift tickets and rental gear.

Beaver Creek resort is awesome. The staff is great & very professional. The skiing is good. While the double blacks are legit blacks, the blues and single black diamonds would be greens & blues anywhere else.

Spectacular palace for you to spend your vacation! Even though I'm a local I know what it feels like! Because personally I feel like I'm on vacation all of the time! I've meet so many families who had spectacular times and said that they would like to come back again!

Awesome ski area! It isn't fun to park in the ski lots in avon then ride a shuttle but it beats paying $25 for underground parking. The mountain, runs and skiing are spectacular. Love this mountain!

Specifically reviewing their children s ski school...
We ve skied at 3 resorts this year and had our 3yo take lessons at each place. BC was by far our worst (and only negative) experience.
BC was the most expensive, the teacher to kid ratio was 2-3x higher than any other ski school we experienced, shorter magic carpet + run, and less end of the day feedback to parents.
Drop off was disorganized and both days they were unable to get our child his own skis.
We won t be returning to BC ski school.

This is my family's favorite place to ski. The runs are always well maintained. The shuttle service with phone app is very handy. AND... every day, chefs come out on the mountain and hand out free chocolate chip cookies. For real!

The resort and mountain are beautiful but make sure to go their during ski or mountain bike season. If you go in between the two seasons most of the village is closed. And their isn't that much to do.

My favorite place to snowboard in Colorado. I especially appreciate the beginner's area under the Red Buffalo lift where my kids can enjoy amazing views even though they are just learning to ride.

Beautiful ski area we have come to for over 20 years. Unfortunately this year have seen a huge decline in the ski school for younger kids- my son is 4(Older kids still great- daughter is 8). Younger kids seem to sit around a lot, and one of the instructors basically told me I would be better off not spending the money and taking the kids myself.

I've never seen such a chaotic system for trying to make reservations to enjoy the resort. As a first time customer, I was able to easily reserve lodging months ago for our planned trip at the end of this month. That was where the easiness ended. I purchased the epic pass a few days ago as the website informed you to do to be able to reserve use of skiing come Nov 6. Well Nov 6 is here and after waiting on the wait list for over an hour, my turn came to reserve. Only to now find out that the week we are visiting isn't even apparently open for skiing yet. So I guess that $440 I spent on the pass was for nothing. These dates were not clear beforehand. There was nothing stating that before mid Dec, although you can stay at the lodge there will be nothing available to do. So I tried calling customer service. Multiple times on multiple numbers. Most just take you back to the same automatic recording telling you that there's an increase in callers and to call back later. Then the line ends. No waiting or on hold. Just ends. The other option is to try the chat option online. Where you wait for hours again to MAYBE get a response. For how costly all of this is, this type of customer service is UNACCEPTABLE.

We had a great family vacation at Beaver Creek. We stayed at Westin Riverfront which is technically in Avon. We are beginner skiers and need the greens which are mostly in Beaver Creek. It was not a problem getting there even with two five year olds and a ton a ski gear. We took a the Westin gondola to a bus at Beaver Creek landing. Friendly faces were everywhere to ask us if we needed anything. (Sometimes there was a friendly face to help us carry our skis! Heaven!) Our kids attended ski school and have come away with a true love for skiing. It was a great experience and we will return.

Lifts close at 3:30PM, some actually close at 3PM. Grooming is nice. Tickets are much cheaper if you order them in advance, but are attached to specific people, so husband in the morning and wife in the evening does not work with their ticketing system. You would have to buy 2 tickets. The skiing itself is good, but not as good as Vail, which has much more space. This is a newer resort than Vail, so it has more ski-in, ski-out.

Beaver Creek is my favorite ski resort. 2017 has been a dry year, so the snow isn't in peak shape, although I managed to squeeze in a bunch of runs recently. When the snow falls, get ready for one of the best skiing experiences in Colorado!

One of the best resorts in Colorado to visit during the summer and fall! The lower elevation and good precipitation allow for huge cottonwood, aspen, fir and spruce trees to all grow together in the same spot. Backing up to Holy Cross is another huge plus. It's the best maintained ski area I've seen and you can tell whoever manages the forestry does an excellent job, complementing the great base area.

My least favorite of all the resorts.

My least favorite of all the resorts.
Snow is so so. Trails are so so. Town is so so.
Still 100x better than my home town hill (Alpine Valley Resort Highland MI)!

My favorite of the Colorado epic resorts by a lot. I much prefer BC to neighboring Vail. Great terrain (Birds of Prey is fantastic if you can handle it) and phenomenal infrastructure. I love the free cookies at 3:00, served on silver platters by chefs in toques. Freshly baked cookies instantly make my day no matter how tough skiing was.
Service here from everyone on the mountain is above and beyond. I highly recommend the ski school here for high level of instruction and personalized attention, much better than Vail's. Although BC attracts a wealthier clientele, it's a real skier's mountain. There is some really tough inbounds terrain. Mikaela Shiffrin trains here!

It's a very relaxing place to be with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, some of which have fire pits in the center. Lots of lovely flowers around in the Fall, and ice sculptures in the winter :-)
