We recently visited beaver creek to take our 9 and 12 year old daughters skiing for the first time. We used Nate Free for a private lesson and we had the absolute best day! He literally had our girls up skiing in no time but also teaching them everything they needed to know. I hadn t been skiing in -5 years and he worked with me too! This was an absolute amazing experience and beaver creek was just awesome!

An amazing mountain with many different runs. Even on its busiest of days there is plenty of room to ski on every run. RFID chips in the ski pass allow you so fly right through the lift line without having to take out your pass keeping you nice and warm. There is also a nice app that is available for free that will do a nice job tracking your activity on the mountain.

As the furthest of the Epic Vail resorts from Denver, its tends to be the least busy and definitely has a very luxurious feel. Everything from being greeted off the shuttle bus with a grooming report marked up on a map to the fresh cookies being handed out at the base makes every guest feel like a million dollars! Definitely what you would envision skiing at a Vail resort to feel like (although ironically not the case at Vail itself).

Absolutely awesome experience. Beautiful. Exceptional service at every interaction.

But bring plenty of money. Two bottles of water on the mountain was $10. Bloody Mary was the same price. $1,000 for rentals and lift passes for 2 people 2 days. Private 1 day lesson, <$1,000.

Like I said, a great place to enjoy CO, but only if you can afford it.

There are much more reasonable priced options lower on I 70.
