After a great hike, we had lunch at the Golden Eagle restaurant who had some nice draft beers and delicious food. The shopping area is very nice.
Beaver Creek is world class. They never miss a step.
Love the cookies being handed out at the end of the day. Made me feel like a kid. Great skiing and loved it.
Das Beav is so nice! Looking forward to the Talons Challenge!
You get what you pay for. I'd recommend pre buying lift tickets to save $40.
Escalators at the main Lodge
Cookies delivered slopeside at 9:30am and 3:00 pm
Conveyor belt at main lift reducing the number of people falling and slowing down the lift
This place was so beautiful!! I was blown away at how beautiful the town was. You can tell it's for those with money, but it's great snowboarding! The mountain was bigger than I had anticipated!
Drivers are absolute Liars will not tell you what bus stop you are looking for
Great. Attentive staff, great clue options. Pampering at the end of the day with complimentary cookies and marshmallows for skiers.
Very fun and awesome skii resort! Rooms are pretty modern and nice looking and the bathrooms are absolutely amazing! Staff has been very friendly and I would definitely reccomend having a vacation here!
Perfect conditions today, warm, no wind, nicely groomed and not crowded
Great place to ski. A wide variety of terrain. Food is good but pricey.
Rating on the experience only. 5 stars. Excellent skiing, people, and amenities. But jf you consider the price of everything from parking to a cup of coffee....i would remove a star for that.
Great mid level terrain. I got lucky and the snow arrived just in time.
Fantastic resort. Great snow and uncrowded slopes.
For my family we stayed here at Beavercreek. It is a cool place in Colorado to go to and the room were wooden and having a cottage like feel, making it the best feel for a ski resort. The place is well organized and kept in a certain way, and the view from one of the trails up top, and you can see stuff. It's really easy to get in and out of the resort, and check in is pretty easy too, and that is a bonus. I told my parents I want to come back to Vail for our next family vacation. We drove all the way from downtown Denver, and on the highway, it was quite a long drive, and on our way we saw traffic and we got stuck in it! The staff here is really nice and kind. Will come back again. :)
I loved. Very good tracks. Very good attention. Great views. Many places to see. They give you cookies with chocolate chips at 3pm .
One of the best family ski resorts out there!
Pricey though! Still trying to figure out sales tax of 12.2%...???
Lovely views and relaxed strolling, music sometimes.
Very nice luxury resort. Everything is clean and neat and the workers are super polite. There are too many catwalk for my taste and sometimes you wait too long for the buses. But other than that, we had a great time.
Great place in the summer. So much to do, so many options for all ages.
Great place to wander, catch a bite, and just sit by a fire
Went to Beaver Creek for my first time on Saturday. Had a really good time. The place was super nice with hills that are well taken care of. The mogul hills were very fun with soft snow. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to going back.
I would rate this experience a 3.5 overall:
Positives:
-my son was excited about his first ski experience
-his instructor gave me a review when I came to pick him up
-they posted his skill mastery to my epic account
- I was able to walk in and sign up for a lesson on the spot
Negatives:
-It took a long time to check in and it was really hot
-They told me they would post pictures and nobody took pictures of my child - very disappointing as this was his first lesson
-I had to call to get access to his account since he was a minor
Great family friendly resort, plenty of things to do, ice skating, Thursday night lights, skiing, swimming pools, restaurants, market, shopping, live music, performing arts center, the resort staff are friendly any where you go recommend visiting anytime of the year.
Saw a creek, never saw any beavers. Disappointed in the lack of beavers.
Great place, skiing with most places ski in and ski out.
Creekside at Beaver Creek one of the places. Spacious 2 bedroom with 3 bath-richly furnished. Great location.
Great weather, great people. Food is a little pricey.
Usually few lift lines and none on Grouse Mtn (expert-only terrain:).
"My family comes here every year and the staff are just so amazing."
The town is currently under lots of construction to prepare for the coming season. The bus system is free, some parking lots are free during the summer, and there are lots of activities to enjoy.
Beaver Creek is a nice, well run resort that seems like it would be best for vacationing families from Texas or other flat regions. Overall, the trails are really wide and well groomed. The base area is extremely nice including escalators! The remainder of the terrain leaves something to be desired. There is one very large gladed area skiers left that seems like it would stay fresh for a decently long time in a storm, particularly given the observed lack of good skiers here. That said, the place is super nice and modern - and they have an absurd amount of staff on hand to help out. - it's just best suited for families in my opinion.
Beaver Creek is great overall. But, stay away from the Park Hyatt. Way overpriced and extremely rude valets at check in.
Great skiing and nice village. Lots of activities and restaurants.
Love this place! Great skiing but also lots of shops, restaurants, etc. Service a little above the rest.
Really nice place high class but expect to spend $$$
If you want a place semi comparable to Vail, Beaver Creek is a must. I prefer BC because of the chill atmosphere and usually quieter crowds depending on the day you go. Employees are nice and the runs are always new and exciting no matter the weather.
So disappointed in how many stores where still closed.
Very fun, great staff. But beware the showers as the water was often too cold or too hot. Overall, I highly recommend
Not only a great place to play, an amazing place to work! Love the energy here, the atmosphere, and the people! My favorite ski area well before I worked there!
Incredible, in summer it is less spectacular although there are more activities.
One of the most exclusive and beautiful places to stay in the area. Ski resort is very beautiful!! Don't miss the opportunity one of the many restaurants in the resort. I recommend to go to Rimini for a hot chocolate!!! You also can spend good time skating on ice or making amores.
You will find a lot of different things to do in this place, don't miss it!!
The Golden Eagle Inn epitomizes the best of Beaver Creek, in our opinion
Love this mountain. Never really crowded. Can get lots of runs in. Spend Less time on lift and more time skiing. Worth the 2 hr drive from Denver
This place is absolutely wonderful. People are super friendly and so quick to help. They serve up fresh cookies daily around 3 pm. Also, there are events taking place almost every week (i.e. pictures w/Santa, ice skating events, and so much more...).
There are tons of places to eat. Many delicious options.
Tip: Blue Moose Pizza is delicious and decently priced for the mega-ton amount of food you get.
Great place to go in the summer. Amazing trails. Dog friendly too!
Fantastic shops and just an all around great place to spend time.
Great terrain for all types of skies from beginners to pros.
This is a beautiful shopping village, but if you visit in May, don't expect much of anything to be open.
We had 10 inches of fresh snow, so we could almost not go wrong. Slopes were great and the lift personnel were great with helping our 7-year old to get on the chairlifts.
Given that, we are happy we had the Epic local pass - the price for a daily pass is outrageous!!!
We visited The Charter at Beaver Creek while in Colorado on our vacation. We needed a "Girls Spa Day" and Spa Anjali was just the place to book our massage appointments. 50 minute Swedish Massage was just what we needed. Tracy was a wonderful massage therapist. The spa amenities were great. They had a swimming pool indoors and outdoors as well as heated spa pool indoors and two really nice heated spas outdoors. A beautiful picturesque view out on the back patio was just perfect for a relaxing afternoon. We really enjoyed our spa day!! We recommend the Spa Anjali and The Charter.
the sun, holiday crowds are gone great snow and sunshine!
local skiing is fine but the big mountains and sun shine of central colorado cant be beat!
hyper expensive, search for deals!
My wife and I went once, and will not be back. Everyone we spoke with while there was very rude, both visitors and employees. The employees especially were very rude and unhelpful. The conditions were horrible in late March but that is not their fault. The runs we did go down were boring and not challenging. Thanks but no thanks, there are way better ski resorts to spend your money with.
