Nothing in here I couldn't buy more cheaply at TK Maxx. Cynical re-hash of a once great department store (but that was a long time ago...)

Sadly closing down in two weeks but the sale currently on is fantastic.

What I am so happy with my visit and I can't fault beales they have been giving value for money for so long I hope they will continue to do so.

Very outdated, i thaught i arrived back in to the 1990s, no new selection of clothes, its technically not a department store, I'll be surpirsed if they lasted another 2 years.

Mm. No. Price is ridiculous for just a jumper. It may be designer clothes, but I ain't buying it

Good shop, top quality clothes as lingerie, also parking in the dolphin centre.

A fantastic, traditional department store, which excels at great, old fashioned customer service. Save your high street!

Beales is the best store in Poole for quality and all round choice, good deals for Black Friday as well.

It's really sad to see Beales shutting down as lots to buy. Staff still very friendly, just hope they are all okay.

Lovely shop. Great choices. However, very dirty fitting rooms. I suggest buy, try at home, if doesn't fit, take it back. Don't go barefoot in those fitting rooms, you'll ruin that lovely dress you were thinking of buying. A broom can be purchased in nearby Wilkinsons. Just saying...

Good department store if a little cluttered, cafe is basic.

Excellent service. Replaced battery and pressure tested my Omega In good time and at a good price.

Great department store with everything you need on 3 different levels from clothing, perfume, make up, handbags to watch fixing and home items

It's ok, and carries a range of upmarket products akin to the sort of thing you would find in John Lewis, but a much more limited choice. Service can be a bit slow, but the staff are generally knowledgeable about the products that they sell. The cafe is usually a nightmare with slow service and a so-so offering.

Had coffee cup served with someone's lipstick on it in the coffee shop . Rest of store ok though.

Has lots of stock at reduced prices but not always what you want or need to buy.

A great department store with lovely clothes, toys and other products

I'm sure this is a lovely place but how can you be a department store if you don't sell kids clothing or school uniform I came in looking for blue blouses and they told me they don't sell kids clothing at all!!!! Bizarre

Sad to see it close but have to say the store (Brand) is very dated, remind me rumpolds sit Com if I remember the name right.

So desperately sad that Beales is closing down, because over the years I have always enjoyed browsing in their store and regardless of whether I had any thing in mind to buy I always ended up with something perfect for myself or for friends. The staff always so pleasant and helpful as they were on my last visit. I wish them well in their future.

Large department store with cafe that sell a great range of ladies clothing as well as a limited men's range, plus handbags & luggage, household & cookware, furniture, electrical & so much more, nice staff to serve you your purchases once you have made your choices.

A large friendly department store' unfortunately it's now been ear marked for closure very shortly.

My mum's favourite shopping place. A very clean welcoming store with plenty of bargains mum bought a suit looks great and 50% off she's very happy. I visited the furniture department. I was able to purchase and at the same time support DEBRA by donating my furniture to them.

Small department store with a few concessions over three floors. Lots of variety making a good place to look for gifts.

Today buying children's dresses. Lovely styles and quality. Even better at Sales prices. Excellent service.

Sat in the cafe eagerly awaiting my turkey and cranberry roll, half an hour passed and my husband ....being starving hungry and having drunk two cups of tea....suggested perhaps asking how much longer...... ...so I did ....yours is next....i was told !
Sat down check my watch 15 mins later still a no show ........back to the counter and complained that we certainly were not next but the couple opposite had indeed had scampi and chips delivered and all we wanted was two turkey rolls ...so feeling brave asked to see a manager!
A supervisor arrived at our table full of apologies saying our lasagne was on its way and at this point lost it !
I can however recomend the clipper next door where we had a fabulous meal on our refund !

The place is tired and ready for closure, sad to see such a cornerstone of Dorset's department stores coming to a close. Death of the high street is nigh!

Lovely shop to go round, good departments for clothes, shoes etc, a little pricey, staff could do with being a little more friendly, but they don't hassle you when browsing!

Shame it's closing last department store in Poole.

I love this store although it's expensive. I got a bargain here today. There are lots of concessions so you can buy almost any brand here. It used to be a family run store with just two, one in Poole and one in Bournemouth but now is a bigger affair with more stores around the South of England
