Very nice, modern house. The rooms are modern and well furnished. The restaurant offers a clear, well-balanced menu. The food was delicious and almost too abundant, although the price was moderate. The personnel is very friendly and courteous.
A short trip during a sports event led me to this hotel. The proximity to the Rundsporthalle and the Aldi next door made this place logistically ideal. The breakfast was good, the dinner buffet also. The hotel was a bit winding. Only the ventilation in the bathroom was a bit too strong, so that smells were sucked into the room. Only my impression and the idea of a cause.
Hotel has a very good price / performance ratio, the rooms are clean, staff and service very good - the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired! The only downside is that on warm summer days and nights the temperature in the room is much too high ... here you would have to think about an air conditioner - yes, if the waste heat for domestic water heating is used, also be relatively inexpensive to operate. Otherwise really very good hotel with perfect, central location!

The hotel is just great! We and our 2 dogs were received incredibly friendly, the dogs got treats at the dog snack bar and we would also be very warmly welcomed! The rooms were clean and tidy and the food was awesome We will definitely be back

The business room should be with air conditioning ... unfortunately only the anteroom was air conditioned so we had 30 degrees in the bedroom. That gives two stars deduction. Otherwise everything was i.o.
The rooms were too hot. Outside, 31 degrees and no blinds. The borrowed at the front desk fan was more for the psyche ... Breakfast buffet rich but the rolls too dry and the scrambled egg was an egg engraving ...
But the room was clean, the bathroom too.
Clean and spacious room, good mattresses, breakfast with good selection, lunch and dinner varied and delicious. Staff very friendly but not in a jiffy. Because of construction site next to poor parking, underground parking cheap but very tight. W-LAN available.
The beds are unreasonable! My do not disturb sign was ignored every day by "nice" cleaning staff. The heaters were also turned to the highest level each time, and I turned them off. You really ask yourself how an award for sustainability could be awarded here.!
What was really good was the food. Not a large buffet selection at lunchtime, but what was there was really good. Kudos to the kitchen at this point. Only you saved the three stars! Unfortunately there are no other hotel alternatives in Baunatal. I personally won't be back.
This hotel deserves an award! I have rarely experienced a hotel that is so well organized even at full house and complex daily routines and constantly strives to make it as comfortable as possible for the guests. Bravo!

I had been there several times for Sunday brunch and so far it has always tasted good, the staff is always very nice and courteous.
The only thing to complain about is that the price of the brunch has increased over the years and at the same time the selection has become less and less which I think is a shame.
Of course everything has to be paid for, but if the price goes up (which doesn't bother me) but there is less choice (which bothers me) something is going wrong.
Somewhat disappointing value for money does not fit right.

It was in the night of 15 to 16 June 19 a very loud wedding celebrated. Sleep in the hotel was only after 3:00 in the morning possible.
Central, but still very quiet. Large, clean and well equipped rooms, all friendly staff. Also the food was delicious. With 3 dying the hotel is undervalued.
On the way through we decided without further ado for this hotel. We got a nice big room with a big bathroom. Parking is in front of the hotel and the breakfast is very rich and there is something for everyone!
Can recommend the hotel at any time and for 90 you can not go wrong.
Decent enough for a single night, room was reasonably clean except for the dust under the bed. The hotel restaurant is better avoided as both the dinner and breakfast where pretty poor quality

Absolutely the worst check-in experience I ve ever experienced. The woman at the front desk was rude, abrasive, and the absolute opposite of hospitable. Someone with such an attitude has no business working in a morgue, much less a hotel. Hotel is dated but serviceable, aside from the truly awful reception.
We arrived on 25.05.2017 and stayed there until Sunday, 28.05.2017 - during a congress of the BVOT - there. Will have been there for the second time in a row and thus have a direct comparison of the house, the food and the staff. We will be there again next year at the congress and be pampered. The food is varied and adequate. There is something for everyone. Mine, as well as the wishes of other guests were immediately implemented and fulfilled to the fullest satisfaction. In direct comparison to the congress 2016, the house at the place has increased even more. For this from our side a big thank you. Rather unattractive the location of our room: Number 127. It is located on the 1st floor right at the main entrance. Unfortunately, there are noise disturbances by the beer garden, as well as to noise development by approaching cars and motorcycles. Since the path is paved, the lattice of the rollis is added. In case of unfavorable wind, the smoker blows smoke into the room. Not nice, the delivery of the nearby ALDI market at 05:00 clock in the morning. My entrance at the front desk was met and immediately offered a different room. However, we had already unpacked and remained at 127. However, you have to add the season and the nice weather. When the window is closed, it is quiet! The Fehlerteufel in detail is rather to look at the humorous side :-)) Potato at the buffet was written with two L, that was it already ...
I was at a seminar in the Ambassador Hotel in Baunatal. The room was very large, bright and well equipped. Very suitable for seminars. The service team from the hotel was really very friendly and courteous. The snacks, the drinks and also the motto meal were very tasty.

Have stayed at many Best Westerns but this is a bit boring and the plentiful breakfast is not of good quality. The Best Western in Freiburg is excellent.
Best to recommend. Reservation worked perfectly and with our late agreement at the hotel, nevertheless a small dinner received. Personal takes care of everything and if you have any questions, they can provide information in their competence. The food is very good and well presented for the eye. We will stay there again when we are in Kassel, and certainly in a year. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.

I can only rate the hotel as a conference location, not in terms of accommodation.
In this regard, I have had a very pleasant training in a quiet, large room at the end of the building. Meanwhile there was a very good meal, both during the coffee break and during lunch. Here, among other things also declared the vegetarian / vegan components of the food so that everyone could choose according to their wishes. There was fresh fruit both in the morning and at noon (as a fruit salad or for lunch for dessert) and the salad could be put together from various German components at noon.
All in all, I would often like to take part in a further training / conference at any time.

Always the refurbished rooms require, at best back, then it fits, the staff is very busy with itself. At the reception all internal conversation is more important ... but you can at least listen before you get it, in the restaurant is a really bad mood .. everyone tries to do as little as possible.
Air conditioning would be a dream, especially in the summer at 35 degrees

Comfortable and good hotel in downtown Baunatal. Just few minutes drive to the industrial area in Baunatal. Staying in baunatal ilo kassel saves you several minutes commuting.

+ The staff was very friendly. I especially want to praise the bartender, the man is just great.
+ The meeting rooms are also modern and decently furnished.
+ There are plenty of parking spaces. Either directly in front of the hotel, in the underground car park and 50 meters further on in a huge public parking lot that is even free.
+ Sky is available in the lounge, so I was able to watch my Borussia win against Lisbon with a few beers.
- The only downside are the beds. The mattresses are not really comfortable, which may be because I sleep on a very, very high-quality Martazen at home ...
The Best Western Ambassador is really highly recommended and, in my opinion, has 3 * plus.
The hotel is well located and central. The room was nice and right. The service was good. I can definitely recommend it.

Since we only had meeting there, but I did not stay, here is a conditional review.
The meeting room was adapted to our seminar size and in order. Drinks were ready, coffee was available during the entire event in front of the seminar room. Was always fresh, or alternatively there was the coffee machine. The welcome gumdrops per participant were (just) expired. That should not happen. The lunch buffet was good, the selection of food was adequate and good. Everything tasted good. All waitresses were very friendly. The outdoor area invites you to spend the breaks there with cozy lounge nooks. A small problem is with free hotel parking, because they are little (about 15 pieces). There is a very cheap underground parking for 5.50 per day and many free parking nearby (with parking disc for 2 hours).
No air conditioning in the rooms (from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. the heat in the rooms is unbearable) after the request to get a cooler room, there was no response.

In this review I only rate the breakfast in the in-house restaurant.
We are here annually on 4-5 weekends with the whole family for the all-in-one breakfast buffet.
There is food and drink in all breakfast variations (cold, warm, sweet, savory) and, above all, plentiful. All in a good P / L ratio.
The staff is very nice and brisk.
For parents with small children, there is also a separate breakfast corner with toys (see picture).
We would love to come back and often recommend the breakfast buffet.
