Staff and nurses are friendly, helpful and thoughtful, especially Nicole from chemo daycare. In addition, Beacon equipped with one of the most advanced cancer technology in South East Asia (as at this review in May 2020). Oncologist and radiographers are professional and experienced. In short, a hospitality hospital.

Went here for health screening. The process is systematic and efficient.

My 3rd time here, service is good, tests were done quite fast. By 3pm I finished all my tests n I will b getting my rpt shortly. Sena was helpful instead of pointing the regn machine, she took me thr. Will come to beacon next year.

i did the medical check up today. The staffs are friendly. it is fast and i got everything done including the report within 5 hours. 2 meals are provided but the food is salty & oily. Hope this can be improved.

The waiting list for health screning test take quite some time.

Having said that, the staff including nurse & doctors are friendly enough for me to make comfortable.

Just need improvement in matter of process of test which can be arranged ie not going to diff floor etc just to have xray

I'm here for cancer health screening and received a very good service and handled by efficient and experienced doctor/nurses. Their way of checking a patient is professional and friendly. Comfortable environment and the foods taste good. Great cleanliness.

We enjoyed every moment of our screenings done here. And there is free breakfast n lunch after our test while waiting for results.

As so many reviews told the truth, good service, welcomed staff, worth a try, but definitely don t wanna go back ( as hospital ), but will back next year when health check due.

And before departure, heavy rain and security lend me the umbrella so that I can walked across the street and take my car.

Even though this hospital is a bit far from my hometown kajang but its worth coming here. I like the hospital environment.....its clean and neat. Staffs & Doctor are polite and profesional.

My first time coming to beacon hospital for health screening and the nurses here are very friendly and service is good.

I like the setting of health screening dept and stands on its own with comfortable cafe setting with breakfast & lunch provided to allow the medical check up patients to just relax & enjoy breakfast & lunch while waiting in betweens and doing work via mobile, tab, or labtop with cafe setting (with coffee/tea/milo provided). A superb idea of separation of the health screening dept from other hospital dept & patients.

The staff are sufficient & courteous to the patients. Doctor's consultation is also great, more personal touches and imagine the doctor personally collected the patient's file, called the patient and led the patient to the consultation room.
Of course this will take a half day with the medical reports & doctor consultation. (getting a full blood test report in 3-4 hrs time is super fast service)

was in health screening. overall service was good. but waiting time to see the doctor quite teribble.

The staff here is very attentive and friendly. Ms Lee Esyen was the first one who helped us to do the registration, the first impression was good, she even explained patiently in Cantonese or mandarin. We did the basic premium health screening, and everything was done within an hour time.

Best if can arrive early like 7am to avoid the crowds because more people coming after 8am. Hopefully can get the report earlier too.

This hospital does a lot of charity and CSR programmes such as breast cancer welfare fund and subsidised cataract surgery programme. My mom did the subsidised cataract surgery in Beacon Hospital at subsidized cost. The ophthalmologist was very professional. The entire surgery only took 30 minutes to complete. I met him before he entered to the operation room and he tapped on my shoulder and told me: No worries, your mum will be fine. Until today, my heart feel warmth when I think back of his words. Definitely will recommend this hospital to people around me!

Went here with an appointment for a medical checkup. The service here is really great, with friendly staffs and the food they provide is delicious. Even though it's my first time here, it was a good experience coming here!

Was here for health screening and the service is good. Clean and friendly staff, very pleasant environment. Been doing my annual checks here for a couple of years now and no regrets!

Counter opens as early 7am and it is good to check up early. My friend completed his checkup and done with consultation before 12pm on Saturday.
But mine a bit longer, late by 1 hour due to late report produced because of I was checked for ultrasound using a new machine (mentioned by the Doctor). Overall it is a recommendable experience however I wish the medical officer could be nicer. All of us felt the same about her.

Went to health screening cafeteria. It provide coffee, tea and more. Great place to rest and wait for my aunty.

Great experience for health screening for first timer

Came here for my Yearly Medical Check Up.

I see mostly rated this hospital based on staff friendliness and cleanliness and how they felt as though you're in a hotel.

But is that the main thing you're looking for? If yes please proceed.

My mother changed from SJMC to Beacon hearing how good Dato Ibrahim was but from the experience I witness with my own eyes that she was put through, the regret I feel for not seeking alternative opportunities or hospital for my mother.

Where do I begin? Now, it is common that doctor don't remember their patient by name (due to "too many patients" or what not), fine. You had a lot to work on and you mightve a lot going on and riding on that shoulder of yours. But several times I saw how Dato Ibrahim was just yawning away the entire time infront of my mother during her follow ups. There's a lot of things were not well explained and every consultation with him felt like a rush. During the days when Dato was unavailable, we consulted under Dr Farah and she was amazing. She took the time to explain till we understood of the terms, process, conditions and etcetera. She even remember my mother by heart.

The daycare nurses no doubt are the friendliest I've seen so far, but in terms of experience, they were somewhat lacking. My mom's hand often turns blue-black due to the nurses lack of experience in putting in the chemopod.

I have so much to say in detail but the more I put into words, I feel the discomfort in my heart of my mother's passing.

What I'm trying to say is, they could've handled my mother better in ways that wouldn't make her condition worse that lead her to her last breath.

And guess what? When my mother passed away in Beacon hospital itself in the morning of 17th May 2018. We still receive phone calls on my mother's cellphone asking to confirm her next chemotherapy appointment. That, was like rubbing salt to an open wound.
