Best RY4 type eliquid (Tribeca) on the market. Believe me, it's the only flavor profile I enjoy and I've tried dozens of them in the past eight years. Their customer service is TERRIBLE and for that they lose a couple stars.

So disappointed. I wanted to love this product.

So disappointed. I wanted to love this product.

I'm brand new to vaping... I've never tried it before but I saw 4 positive reviews on this brand and the Triton II product line. After researching a little more, I saw some folks state the original Triton was more superior than the successor but decided to get the II anyway. The online purchasing from Halo, shipping was easy enough, and the pen decently priced. I got the delivery to the house just at the start of the weekend.. great! I unboxed and read the instructions (incorrectly).. and got started.. It took an hour to make sure the battery was fully charged, all the connections with the battery, the coil, the tank was solid and tightened... My bad.. that's on me! After a few chats w/ customer service.. off and running! Not bad! Cool little pen! That was day 1.

Day 2 proved totally different. I grabbed my pen off the charger.. because I was expecting the charge of the 700mAH batts not to last for too long... reviews and all warned ahead of time. The blue light on 1st press immediately flashes 3x... unexpected.. normally, from the day before, it's unlit until the 5th press, then flashes the 3x. Ok.. weird. probably some small issue with the battery; i'll try the other. Same behavior. It must be the coil.. or maybe the tank... or both!, I thought. Good thing I got the Triton II starter kit.. with at least two of everything, right? I try the other tank, with a fresh coil, right out of the packaging. same behavior! :-| ???

After online chattting w/ cust. svc and not getting anywhere fast, I decide to call. It doesn't get better. We troubleshoot to ensure the batteries are fully charged.. to which I must have stated at least 3x they were.. I couldn't be anymore emphatic. Then we do a few more tests. as I loosen the connection between the battery and the tank, the battery actually turns on! good!... i guess. The tank is now so loose it's wobbly! As I tighen every so gently, it goes right back to the odd behavior.. I try on both pens.. Same odd behavior.. except one battery at least now turns on without either tank screwed in. After discussing how to put warranty order in and how long that would take and whether or not the diagnostics prove to be successful or not, I'm ready to throw in the towel in, ugh!!! After 15-20 mins and this day 2, i'm too frustrated to continue on.. Let's just process a return!

Customer Service: Whoah, whoah! Slow down now (paraphrasing). "The tanks are consumable products and are not refundable." (not paraphrasing)... Me: "Oookay. how does that affect my refund?" CS: "We'll just refund for the battery. We'll deduct for the tank and parts+liquid" (more or less). Me: huuuuuh? So... you're going to give me a partial refund for a product that I've had for less than 24 hours.. completely unhappy with? CS: "Yes" to make a long story short.. again paraphrasing. I'm waiting for her to laugh and say "JUST KIDDING" but i know it's a full week after April Fools, so I'm doubtful it's coming. She assured me that It's all written in the agreement I authorized in the sale. I'm assured her I'm sure it was!... in the fine print EVERYONE reads.. smh.

So... after the deducting the consumable parts + the shipping I would have to pay for from TX to FL... I could get back as much as $20 to as little as $13. Plus the time to ship a package off and wait for a refund. I don't know about most of y'all... I haven't been in a Post Office or package delivery store in a LOOONG time. For $20, it's just not worth it for me. It's just easy to chuck it and leave it at that with a terrible taste in my mouth.

Like I said, All I really wanted was this product to work! It shouldn't be this hard. and the customer satisfaction would leave the most rare of people actually satisfied. Once again.. just really disappointing experience.. all around.

Their juice in and of itself is great which is why this is a two star review and not a one star review. The problem I have with Nicopure/Halo Cigs is that the people running the company seem totally incompetent. Their online customer service is not helpful at all and, at times, downright rude. They never seem to have any answers to your questions. They say they'll have someone email you the next day and no one ever does. Shipping is ridiculously slow. I've waited two weeks for bottles of juice to be delivered. On my last order, I decided to pay extra for FedEx 2 Day shipping to avoid the long wait. Big mistake, it's been three days since I placed that order and it hasn't even shipped yet. To top it all off, their web page must be running on a server circa 1998; it is comically slow. I'm over it. On to the next distributor!

Wow! After questioning the quality of juice I was purchasing from other brands, where it was manufactured (hint, hint - most seem to be made in China) My coworker turned me on to Halo Cigs. I placed my first order for 2 of their tobacco flavors and all I can say is you taste the difference. This is now the only company I trust. Ask yourself, where is the liquid you vape made, what ingredients are they using, and who's making it. Halo has been around many years for a reason. I found my forever juice!
