Very Reasonable price, VERY VERY professional workmanship, and very prompt response to questions and fixing minor problems.... Overall experience... Excellent !!!

These folks are real Professionals. They do not sell you, they educate you. Contacted BCLS Landscape Services for a quotation and honestly while not a good fit for me financially, they were kind enough to offer suggestions and alternatives to spending large sums of money. While I am not doing business with them at the moment, I thought their professional business demeanor warranted a few kind words.

The company came out in early November, 2017 and installed 20 beautiful pansies at my mailbox-- which I expected to last a month or so. Instead, almost 6 months later, they are even more beautiful! The flowers weathered winter with no problem and are lush and colorful now, with stunning color combinations! Bonus points for taking care of my Fall and Spring plantings in one trip!! Great quality!

Great place to be employed. The company takes pride in both it's employees and work performance. The supervisors are well educated and knowledgeable in all aspects of field work.

Got leaves all over my JUST cleaned car. Hire better trained individuals.

If my car was blown off after the leaves were blown onto it I wouldn t have bothered to write a review. Next time I ll get a before and after picture.

Outside of a few adjustment that had to be made, overall my wife and I are pleased with the outcome......

Maybe these guys run a tight ship. Maybe one of their trucks was stolen by a maniac. Let s hope both are the case. All I know is that I was accosted by that maniac on what I m guessing was the drive home for both of us around 5:30pm today, managing the traffic heading south on 195. He came speeding up behind me in the left lane going well past the speed anyone else was going, got in the middle lane and pretty much doubled his speed to hop back in the left lane and cut me off. Using my horn for one of its key purposes, I let him know that wasn t cool.

That s when I noticed the BCLS on the truck.

Professional.

I then got into the middle lane, as I was getting off soon, and traffic slowed to where he lined up right next to me...and proceeded to shout at me, attempting to instigate some sort of road rage fight, I guess?

Even if I had used obscene gestures or language, you represent a BUSINESS. I [was] just a POTENTIAL CLIENT who cares about courtesy and road rules.

Anyway, if you re cool with that systemic lack of professionalism behind the curtains - by all means, support BCLS.

We are very pleased with how our patio turned out. Howard had a beautiful vision that has resulted in a very beautiful and useable space!

The BCLS Landscape Services company did a fantastic job on our landscape project at our new home. From their creative design to meticulous work and attention to details, my husband and I were very pleased with the outcome of our project. I would highly recommend them. BCLS Snow & Ice Management is very professionally run and overall well-organized. We used their services on several commercial properties during the winter of 2017-2018. They are proactive with communcation, timely with services and great follow-up. I would glady and highly recommend them to other property managers in RVA!

Where do we begin? Our experience with BCLS Landscape was second to none! We were so impressed; from our initial planning meeting all the way through the final walk through, there wasn't a stone that was left unturned. Our new Outdoor Living Space exceeded our expectation!

What was once a slab of concrete has now been transformed into a gathering area for our family and friends. Not only was he impressed by the design and detailed masonry work but the clear communication among everyone on the project! This made the whole process seamless.

We recently had Steven and his BCLS professionals demolish an old aggregate stone patio and install a new larger patio with pavers, a beautiful wood burning fire pit, an accompanying seating wall and several new landscaping plants and shrubbery. They also performed some minor miracles in relocating a couple of larger decorative trees that we had hoped to save and incorporate into our new hardscape design.
The weather was difficult to say the least over the past fall and winter with tremendous amounts of rain. The BCLS crew overcame Mother Nature's obstacles and continued to push forward to meet our anticipated deadline. All turned out extremely well!
We were very pleased with the professionalism and politeness by all invovled with BCLS. We would highly recoomend their services to all desiring to create and build a new and exciting backyard patio hardscape.

We went through several modifications to the design of a paver patio before and during the build, and the whole BCLS team was patient and flexible each time. The on-site crew worked super hard in the grueling heat to get the job done on time, and they were always courteous and professional. Steven and Howard both came out to personally check in on the project also. I m beyond pleased with how everything turned out.

The most horrid, loud, and destructive landscaping company ever! I am, unfortunately, unable to discontinue service as they are contracted by our HOA. I wish I could give them an even lower rating, but seems I must give them at least 1 star

My husband and I wanted to have a fire pit and patio so we of course shopped around and had several contractors come out. Howard was the only one who was honest enough to tell us we could not put the fire pit where we wanted because of the slope in our backyard. He recommended a new place which did not slope as much and his crew took time to build that area up so the patio would be level. We love the design, the lights in the wall and the landscaping work that was done. Its as if we are in a whole new house. I have already recommended BCLS to several family members and friends and we can't wait to entertain on our new patio!

BCLS has never let me down! Great company with a great crew working for them. Both landscaping and snow removal have been handled professionally and at a fair price. Thank you!

Wont let me give more than 5 stars, this is a 7 star company. The New Owner and his managmenet team are the best in Richmond. They have assisted us with snow, these guys have 20+ snow trucks! Their landscaping division, paver patios, etc look great as well as their LED lighting work they do!!! CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!

BCLS Landscape Services did a fantastic job installing a patio for us over the summer. From consultation meetings with Mr. Cohen, planning with his office team, to the crew's arrival and work, everything was seamless. Highly recommend if you are looking for a trustworthy business owner, and professional team that delivers A+ work!

I recently had a 330Ft patio installed by BCLS. I had looked around at several other companies but just didn't feel confident in contracting with them. A neighbor recommended I talk to Howard Rose at BCLS. Howard took us to see a patio in mid construction, which showed just how they were constructing a patio. We also saw a couple of finished patios. My HOA was skeptical of paver construction and Howard provided a tutorial on how patios should be constructed. Needles to say we got the approval and now own a beautiful paver patio. Also, during the construction BCLS worked hard to protect the surrounding area as they brought in materials. When they left for the day you could not see mess on the street, it was swept clean. I am very pleased with the results and I believe BCLS to be a reputable company that I would readily recommend for this type of work.

I had an old slate patio replaced with pavers. The quote I got from Howard was very clear. He could not determine whether the underlying concrete slab would need to be removed before demo began, so the additional work to remove it was clearly noted as a separate item in the quote. Howard and the workers were very flexible. I made a couple of last minute minor design changes when they came to install, and there was no question, add on price, etc. Just an OK, let's do it! The workers were not chatty, but friendly and polite. My patio is enclosed on all sides, with only a couple of places for water to go, so a proper drainage design was essential. It came out perfect. I am 100% pleased!

The workers are super kind. They seem very passionate for their job and they get the job done. Very pleased. I d recommend this company to anyone in need of landscapr or hardscape work in the Richmond area. Respectfully; Charlie Deckman

Very professional, timely and they do awesome work! The hardscaping is beautiful! We love our new outdoor space! BCLS' work changed how our family lives in our home by creating more living space and play space. We love our new backyard, patio, firepit, deck and porch. We highly recommend the team!

BCLS is the place to go for your landscaping/ hardscape needs. They came in repaired awful work done by Inspired Hardscape out of Hanover., Va. BCLS and Howard were professional, curteous, efficient and communicative. Any needs that I have in the future that is within BCLS scope of skills I will look no further rather just call Howard and the BCLS team.

It was a dark and rainy night as I sit browsing the internet looking for ways to escape my cool, dry AC and get outside to enjoy the hot, humid, bug-filled Virginia outdoors. Then I found it. A patio!

I searched the net, talked with friends and neighbors - everything pointed to BCLS Landscaping Services. Reviewing their website, it appeared BCLS did a lot of large commercial projects. I had doubts they would even consider my little backyard project. Hmmm. Oh well, I gave them a call not sure what their response would be.

Then came Howard. What a guy! What a salesman! Within a short time he had determined our needs and developed a plan, detailed all expectations, laid out a time table and offered a fair price.

From that point on everyone I dealt with at BCLS was friendly, helpful and very enthusiastic about their work. Working with Howard, Bereniz, Julia and the three man work crew and others were a pleasure throughout the project.

Unfortunately, I do not remember the names of the work crew (my mistake) , but the work was performed quickly and expertly. The crew was very professional, skilled and conscientious. The result was a beautiful patio, laid out in a manner that compliments the property and certainly adds value to the house. And when they completed their work the clean up was well done and complete.

Would I recommend BCLS to anyone seeking a patio or similar landscaping project? Yes, without hesitation. In fact, I am considering another landscape project later this year and am hoping BCLS will be the contractor.
