I had an old slate patio replaced with pavers. The quote I got from Howard was very clear. He could not determine whether the underlying concrete slab would need to be removed before demo began, so the additional work to remove it was clearly noted as a separate item in the quote. Howard and the workers were very flexible. I made a couple of last minute minor design changes when they came to install, and there was no question, add on price, etc. Just an OK, let's do it! The workers were not chatty, but friendly and polite. My patio is enclosed on all sides, with only a couple of places for water to go, so a proper drainage design was essential. It came out perfect. I am 100% pleased!
