Lively place, food was alright, although a little pricey. Staff didn't bother to ask if I was done with the plate before taking it

Basically the same as every other bar in the arena district. Packed crowd, drunk people, slow service with people crowding the bar.

Nice sized dancefloor, large outdoor patio, and a decent amount of seating. The music is usually good top 40.

We waited a while for our food even though the restuarant was empty. The people next to us recieved their food before we did even though they came in after us. The floors were also sticky.

The half off lunches are pretty nice! They have a wide variety of alcohol. It has a pretty chill vibe.

Good afternoon, I wanted to inform you that I was disappointed at the service my friends and I received yesterday on March 20, 2015. I was there with three other people at around 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm. We sat at the bar and ordered numerous drinks and food. The level of disappointment did not only affect our group. Where we were seating at we were underneath the vent system were it was blowing cold air. The air was blowing so hard that the napkins were being blown away and a bartender had to put an empty shot glass on top of the napkins to prevent them from blowing away. We asked at least four different people to lower the ac because it was very cold, it felt like we were outside without a shirt on. We all had sweaters on and it didn't matter. Every bartender we asked to lower the ac they gave us a phony not to do it. The worst one was a girl stated we should do jumping jacks to stay warm. All the workers stated they were warm and we said because you are moving around staying busy while we are seating here either watching the game or talking among ourselves. We had people next to us complain as well but nothing happened. I am not sure if this is the proper way to run a business but if a customer politely ask you to lower the ac the least you can do is try to lower it but instead the workers came off as rude. I feel next time I am down in the Arena District I will avoid going there because of this experience.

This bar sucks. Waited in line for over an hour to get in and watched the bouncers let several others that weren't in line, in. I was like dude you gonna let us in and got grabbed and thrown. Oh and don't wear a plain white t shirt because they won't let you in

Lol I saw 4 pairs of gross underwear on the floor of ONE bathroom stall. It smells like a hot urinal cake in there on the weekend.

Buffalo chicken wrap was amazing fries were pretty standard. Really busy for a Sunday as well as really loud.

Keep in mind this is a "sports bar".... They denied me entrance for wearing a tshirt...

I live downtown and ride my bike when I can. Last night some friends and I thought we would go to bbr (the sports bar) on the bikes for a drink and to watch the NBA finals, it seemed to be a good idea.... When we got to bbr, the place was empty, you can see in from the street. We are thinking great, this is during the nba finals, we can find a good seat. But wait, the bar has a doorman outside (some chotch). When my friends and I went to enter the empty sports bar, the doorman stopped and asked me if I had a different shirt to wear? Then he told me I was not allowed into the bar without a different shirt. Are you F***ing kidding me? Without hesitation we bailed on the idea that this was a cool place to be. FYI BBR, my money goes with me to another bar....

So I am not saying there is a lot wrong with what he did. I would totally agree with the decision to keep the riff raff out of the joint if it was a busy Friday or Saturday night and there was a line out the door. This was an empty Thursday... After being refused service we left for a better, no dress code bar, where people can gather and have a good time without everyone looking and dressing the same.

My review and recommendation for anyone looking to try this place: find another hangout, a sports bar with a dress code on Thursday night during the NBA final when there is nobody in the joint = ridiculousness

Above average bar food great atmosphere to catch a game or grab a few drinks with friends.

This place was awful. We went there for New Year's Eve and had problems as soon as we got there. We had a ticket for four people and after 3 of us walked in to the bar, they gave my black friend a rough time. They wouldn't let him in until we argued with bouncer for 5 minutes and convinced him that that my black friend was with us. Then they lost my coat in coat check and the owner wouldn't let me go back and look for it. He told me to f$%^ off. It was 15 degrees outside. As you can see from other reviews, he has an attitude with all of his customers. I DO NOT recommend anyone go to this bar.

Mmmmm yummy! The burger and fries were so good. Good draft beer selection. And awesome happy hour times 3-8 Monday thru Friday.

We went for lunch to check the place out, and based on the prices of the food I thought we were getting some decent stuff. What we got was just ok, but not worth the price we paid. Additionally, according to the menu, I supposed to have grilled chicken on my salad, not cold poached chicken, and there was hardly any chicken to top that off. That was a huge disappointment. I won't be going back.

Food is better than you'd expect, and the lunch deals are good value. Good place to watch March Madness.

Who gets rid of potato skins? BBR, that's who. They are dropping quite a few good items from their menu and replacing them with some weird stuff. Also, who drops menu items without having the replacements ready? BBR, that's who.

Parmesan Garlic Fries were amazing!! And so was the main course!! Loved the setting, cool stuff on the walls, clean. Didn t stay for the evening so no comment on the nightlife scene only dinner for me. No complaints, great first experience, will come back again!!

The flat bread had a crisp, perfectly well done flavor. Perfect crunch! Delicious

This is an okay bar if you like slow service and expensive drinks. Fun dance club, not the best bar.

It's good but quite pricey for what you actually get.

Horrible place. Very dirty. There was two clogged overflowing toilets in the womens restroom and throw up all over the toilets and walls. Awful service as well. I was in a group of about 10 people After the Arnold's, all paying customers drinking and the bartender kept rolling hos eyes at me everytime I went up to get us waters. We would have stayed and drank more if he would have given us more water without the attitude. I do not recommend this place to anyone that wants to sit at a clean table and not listen to blaring trap rap music.

Always a pleasure to work with, as I was a manager of a neighboring business. They have GREAT food and it's always very timely, and their staff is very courteous. They do a good job managing the over-the-top drunks, as well as hosting decent DJs!

Stopped in for lunch, service was horrible & the food was just OK. Table next to us left after 20 min because no one waited on them. Big Bad Burger was nothing special, fries were pretty good though.

I've only been there for lunch, and they took away their lunch specials. Not happy about that. The quality of food is good. I've never been there in the evenings, nor have gotten anything at the bar. Plenty of TVs and seating. No free parking that I could see. Food has gotten better since my last visit. Staff is always good. Bring back lunch specials for 5 stars

Seems to be a great place for someone looking for fun, music, drinking & dancing.. Not my normal type of venue but I just tagged along with my adult daughter & her boyfriend and was quite entertained (LOL) by a group of guys who appeared to be challenging each other on their dance moves.. :-) Everyone seemed to be enjoying the place.

Bro bar. Incredibly slow service at 6pm on a weekend. Place was empty. Boneless wings were overcooked. Tots were good. I didn't get a burger, but they looked much better than my chicken. Prices a bit steep for portions. Not a bad place, but so many better options for food nearby.

First bar on Vine off of Park St. Staff are pros. Beckoned my wife and her co-workers over from another place nearby after I got off work. Bought a couple rounds of happy hour Taco Tuesday tacos. They sorely regretted what they had eaten at the last place after trying BBR's high value, tasty fare.

Had a great first experience here. I have heard endless compliments on the BBR meatloaf. Today I got to taste it and it was very good. A large portion of bacon wrapped meatloaf that tasted like it might have even been grilled a little, enough that had me wishing it was grilled or grilled more. It had a great flavor that matched the BBQ sauce and the green beans. The green beans were very good. I'm picky about my green beans and they were crisp, cooked, not mushy and very tasty. The sad part of the plate was the mashed potatoes. So sad mashed potatoes! They didn't do anything for you! They were just mashed potatoes, maybe a little butter or bacon pieces could have livened it up or a sprinkle of cheese? I used the sauce in my cup to help them out. For $14 for lunch it was worth the price of admission (no admissio, it's a phrase). The atmosphere was nice for a medium lunch crowd. The inside was clean and the wait staff was on the ball. Very enjoyable experience! I'll definitely be back.

Really enjoyed the DJ here for a recent 90s crawl. Had a good time. Got loaded tots for a few bucks and the portion was huge!

Went there earlier today on 9/19/19 and I had ordered wings. We wait for too long, They only had one person working lunch, wings were over breaded and were way too greasy and gave me heartburn for the rest of the day and night. Will not be going back!!!

How does a "sports bar" have a dress code that denies entrance for sports jerseys??? No posting or anything??? Horrible experience!

They have great lunch specials and the wait staff and bar tenders are very attentive. We have our department holiday party here every year and the accommodations are great.

I frequent this spot and always have a positive experience.

A buddy and I attempted to enter this establishment but were sent away because my friend was wearing camo joggers. The bouncer indicated it was due to dress code, which was weird because we had been to three other bars with no problem. I proceeded to ask him if an active military person tried to come while in their fatigues would they be turned away also, and he said it's simply dress code. What a flipping joke of an establishment. Never going to even attempt this place again. Garbage.

Mike Eickemeyer is the dude, getchu some beer and tacos and watch whatever game is on TVs! Sundays are also big litty which is industry night.
