It's a basic hotel. The mattress is the typical cheap hard type found in these basic hotels. The wifi wasn't working the night I stayed.

Awful. Most if not all staff is rude. People smoking weed and other drugs in the building and the staff does nothing about it. Room service took our do not disturb sign and woke us up just to make their day faster. You get blamed for stuff you didnt do.
The building and hot tub room are in super bad shape and the rooms are super small. The vending machines steal your money. The "continental breakfast" sucks. Fire alarm goes off at random hours in the night. The staff stomp around the halls all night and keep you up. People are constantly slamming their doors at night. The toilet barely works. The cleaning staff half ass everything. Their mini fridges are really mini freezers. Froze all my food and i had to change the setting.
One tiny desk in a double queen room. One side table with a single drower. Barely any plug ins. Decorations are out dated and ugly. Air conditioner barely works. Full of allergens. I could barely breath in that place. Doesnt even have a pad of paper with a pen. Just all around is the worst experience ive had in a hotel.
This is our spot to unwind. We are on or honeymoon and couldn't be Happier
Consistently dirty dining area; rooms are old & run-down, but clean enough; 1 staff member during check-in was incompetent & very unhelpful.
I would not stay here again. Going in and out youre ignore by the front desk. Never said hi or have a good day or anything. Were watching movies instead of being curtious or working. Annoyed me. The Internet was incredibly slow at night... had to use 4g. Just to do anything. Breakfast was ok.. rooms were good. Up to expectation. Bathroom is dated seems from the 70/80s , has been updated. But still feels older. Clientele was interesting. Seemed druggy type.
Sound dampening was not great. Person above us was up at five am stomping around. Hotel staff very nice. Breakfast was a carb lovers dream.. Unhealthy. Beds.. OK. TV.. moveable. Good value for price.
The location was average, not super close to the main part of town. The rooms were fairly nice, again I'd say average. Wifi was very strong, around 60 ping which was nice. The staff was again petty normal, not super outgoing but helpful when necessary. Breakfast was pretty good!
Reasonably priced, good guest services. I would return.
Decent hotel, old carpets and new door locks. Invasive 3-day cleaning policy, but they don't actually clean (vacuum & sweep) and just make the bed & replace towels. Mandatory $150 incidentals fee isn't automatically refunded, effectively making the room much more expensive than advertised.
I'll start by saying that I'm glad the accommodations were basically free, although we did use a large chunk of "reward points" that we had accumulated up to that point.
To put it simply, the new room wasn't anything like what we were expecting. There's too much furniture for the size of the room (which made it difficult to navigate) and the bathroom wasn't very accommodating, although the bed we chose to use was quite comfortable.
The "if you can think of it, we have it" continental breakfast wasn't all it was cracked up to be either, but to be fair, we didn't really dig too deep into the spread they were offering.
Upon checking out, we had a lengthy conversation with the manager on duty (Rashoud) regarding our concerns and he told us that he would be more than happy to work with us on the cost of our little adventure, by returning at least half of the reward points we used to get our room... if I'd change my review "instead of slamming us online" so I added a few positive observations about the place, which are accurate as well.
Exploring a new town was fun, but we're definitely going to be more careful about where we start our next getaway from.
(UPDATE 8/28) Still no refunded points from the Baymont; just creates more negativity toward the establishment... Not impressed
(UPDATE 9/2) Finally got back points for one of the two nights we stayed, although we were told and were shown on the checkout receipt that we were to be reimbursed for both nights... Took a second (negative) review on TripAdvisor, and a strongly worded email to Wyndham directly to see any action on their part
Located in beautiful bellingham. A hotel close to the mall and walmart. The food is nice and the rooms are neat
Room was well taken care of, attendant was excellent.
Far better than other hotels for the same price, or less!
Staff is aways friendly and will do what they can to help with your stay 1 of the best places iv stayed
I called in about 30 minutes ago to see if I can make a reservation with my debit card but paying cash and told I was and showed up at the hotel to do what they said they could do and the lady was really snobby rude and disrespectful and lied to me and told me that she never said that over the phone even though I have proof that she says it
Great bang for the buck. If the WiFi wasn't sketchy would've given it 5.
It's was really chill very nice people at front desk
Not what it looked like online. The walls/doors are dirty and the pool is a radioactive shade of green. The room seems clean enough, but not my typical experience at Wyndham hotels.
Fairly decent hotel! Two minutes down the road off of i-5 which is super convenient. And the price was right on top of using some rewards that I had. The room which I rented was the king suite with a jacuzzi tub in it, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed! Overall had a nice stay and I would recommend this hotel for an expensive stay!
Great location, clean room. Nice variety in the continental breakfast. Bagels really stale, though
I always struggle with eating breakfast in the morning, and their food selection was very good and made it easy for me to eat a full breakfast. The people working there were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and I was happy with what was provided in the room. The beds were also very comfortable and the different types of pillows would suit any need. I was also in a room right next to the elevator and stairs and was never disturbed by it. Overall, a great value for price.
So we check in, nothing to complain about. We get to our room, girlfriend and I find the room smells funky. Then I go to use the bathroom and the toilet wobbled; not properly caulked, not sitting square in the bathroom. I probably could have ripped it out as I was basically doing my business on a see-saw. So we go out for a bit and come back to swim; pool is tiny and falling apart, also there are no towels. All the guests had to bring their own towels. Then we comeback and we shower and I see what I think it was mold, even if it wasn t it was filth that drew my attention. Also hair everywhere, bed and shower. Color of the shower was also outdated to top it all off. This was all within 3 and a half hours of checking in. We are only staying the night and I paid $150. I d spend extra on a Hilton home 2 for what I paid.
Friendly staff, clean room. The location wasn't all that great, but a good quality, value priced stay.
Usually the hotels are good but this one had hard beds and bad pillows
Decent and clean.... but broken lamp and worn out room, thank you to the front desk lady who was very helpful and put us next to an exit by the smoking area.
Decent place if you are not looking for fancy
Very disappointed by this hotel. We booked a room (224) through Priceline after being told that there was a hot tub when there is none. We were told there was no room ready when we arrived at 6pm. We were told that there was no way to cancel without 24hr notice. The group directly above us in 324 must have had an elephant in their room judging by the stampeding we heard throughout the evening. Several calls were made to the front desk to no avail. We were told by reception that there is new ownership
Avoid this hotel.
A diamond in the rough. Friendly service. In the middle of a remodel though. Breakfast was good work plenty of options. Once they've finished the remodel they will probably move into the 4 star range.
Decent hotel, with an outdoor pool. The hot tub broke down a year and a half ago, and it got filled in which stinks, but still decent.
Exactly what I needed on late notice. Love the King Suite.
Mediocre hotel close to the mall, guide meridian. Nothing to write home about but not the worst either. Construction next door at gas station shakes the room. Dated but I didn't expect much for the price.
Nice room. Convenient location. Awesome Continental breakfast.
Arrived at 3pm and had to wait til 4:30pm til my room was ready. Not great service so far
Very Shabby! Seemed empty. Very few cars in the lot. Staff was very helpful and polite. I stayed one night. My first room was very shabby and the door lock was frozen so I moved to another room. The second room was in slightly better condition at first glance. For instance, the tiny closet still had a door attached. The bathroom was VERY dated. I thought the peach toilet and tub didn't go with anything else in the room and due to the squared off toilet, I thought it was just old but then noticed that the tub/shower had been repainted due to overspray of the peach onto the white wall. The carpet had frayed corners. The desk was broken and felt like it would collapse with any significant weight on it. The desk chair had one side ripped up. The lamp shades were bent and cracked. The entry door was very beaten up. The walls were also beaten up, corners broken, gouges, etc. Cleanliness?? Well...fairly clean. Bathroom faucet had spray cleaner that hadn't been wiped off. Some stains here and there. Was VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Very nice but not much to do at the hotel itself. And the jet tubs in the room are pretty small. I think it should at least come with bubbles or a bath bomb if it's the presidential suit.
Good beds, good service good location, WiFi leaves something to be desired
The room was large and well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was ideally situated.
Clean and comfortable hotel. Average continental breakfast. Great staff, friendly and helpful.
Comfortable beds, a 2am fire alarm malfunction is no fun though!
The people there were very courteous, and the room was clean and comfortable for a decent price. The only negative I had was that the noise from the hall can be loud. People were knocking on the door across the hall, and I thought they were knocking on my door.
staff is very friendly. overall clean. bathroom is kind of outdated. there was a group of very loud people outside my room which was annoying. they put out breakfast early for folks checking out early. it's not super nice, but not bad.
Pretty middle of the road. Has everything one needs. Wouldn't stay here for more then a week. Good location. Breakfast is average but they have hot food. Rooms are comfortable. A bit noisy but what hotels isn't.
Great pet friendly rates for $10 per pet per night and free breakfast from 6am-9am.
The only thing i didnt like was the washer and dryer....out dated.
Staff was very knowledgeable on food and attractions in Bellingham. Rooms were clean and there was a lot of choices at breakfast.
A lot of uptights are around here. If you fit in that give it 5. Due to the marina area it is a 5 star place, bc this is a very caring community. There is a shelter not too far with some hustle to survives around so the uptight might not know how safe and in about the best location this is. We come here at least 1 time a year to stay but visit the grounds a lot when in town. I sail boats so honestly I'm very happy with the community here, and have reason to be familiar with it regularly. There is a paved trail and restaurants on site plus more.
Unbelievable!! Be sure to check your credit card bill for extra charges. And they have not given me back my tablets that I accidentally left in the room.
It's okay for the price in Bellingham. If you've got a dog be sure to tell him that only weighs 39 pounds otherwise they'll charge you $10.
