I'll start by saying that I'm glad the accommodations were basically free, although we did use a large chunk of "reward points" that we had accumulated up to that point.

To put it simply, the new room wasn't anything like what we were expecting. There's too much furniture for the size of the room (which made it difficult to navigate) and the bathroom wasn't very accommodating, although the bed we chose to use was quite comfortable.

The "if you can think of it, we have it" continental breakfast wasn't all it was cracked up to be either, but to be fair, we didn't really dig too deep into the spread they were offering.

Upon checking out, we had a lengthy conversation with the manager on duty (Rashoud) regarding our concerns and he told us that he would be more than happy to work with us on the cost of our little adventure, by returning at least half of the reward points we used to get our room... if I'd change my review "instead of slamming us online" so I added a few positive observations about the place, which are accurate as well.

Exploring a new town was fun, but we're definitely going to be more careful about where we start our next getaway from.

(UPDATE 8/28) Still no refunded points from the Baymont; just creates more negativity toward the establishment... Not impressed

(UPDATE 9/2) Finally got back points for one of the two nights we stayed, although we were told and were shown on the checkout receipt that we were to be reimbursed for both nights... Took a second (negative) review on TripAdvisor, and a strongly worded email to Wyndham directly to see any action on their part
