Awesome, awesome, awesome. So glad to see stores like this around and we need more DVD stores and physical media stores. It is starting to come back and they are a gold mine for hard to find and rare DVD and Blu-ray's etc. Imports too.

One of the last great indie video stores in Toronto, staffed by people who love movies and will never hesitate to share their love and seemingly infinite knowledge with you. Help out the locals and buy or rent here whenever you can!!

Their staff was very helpful and professional. They also have a great Department within the store where they can check out your stereo gear for nothing and make recommendations if you need a repair excetera but they do it for free. They did it for me on my turntable got it working and made recommendations for a cartridge upgrade. They're one of the few stores left in the city of Toronto that will be there in years to come because it's been there for over 50 years and it's run by a family member

Are you tired of Netflix's mediocre selection? Do you feel like you need to subscribe to 2or 3 streaming services just to find the movies you're looking for? Are you looking for classics, foreign films, or other oddities that won't show up elsewhere? Then you want Bay Video, which has just about everything you could want. This is the best place for movie lovers in Toronto, and I don't know anywhere else that comes close.

Awesome place good nostalgia, good selection of movies, probably one of few places in Toronto to rent movies and sometimes they run an offer to take any two Blu-ray or DVD movies home without direct charge. Service is also good and fast.

One of the extremely few independant video rental/sales shops left on the planet. Id much rather get my blurays/4K blurays from these guys over Amazon who never answers a phone call. Massive amount of titles, people who know their stuff. In these days of streaming lower quality, nice to see a place where you can walk in and buy or rent on the spot.

Best place to get movies, they always have rare ones in stock at reasonable prices.

Unique business now that most rental places don't exist. Huge selection. Its great to watch movies that have fallen off streaming services are being lost to time. Great prices too.

Awesome shop! Was super impressed with their inventory. We are visiting from NYC and we don't have stores like this anymore. It was such fun to look thru everything. You could easily spend a few hours going thru all their stock. Such a happy accidental find!!

This is the best used video store I have ever been to. I love the way the store was laid out. They uses a very unique system of flip cards to view the movies. The organization is great. There is a section organized in 55 of the top directors. If you want to hunt for movies to buy or rent this is the place to go.

Experienced and very friendly staff. They have a great selection of classic, modern and everything in between.

Think of a movie - chances are Bay St Video has a copy of it. Prices occasionally skew a little high, but there's still great value to be found amongst the racks. Plus, their Criterion section is the best I've ever seen in a physical store.

If you want a DVD/BlueRay forget ordering online just go here! If you don't want to browse the huge selection call ahead and they will bring your pick to the front so you can be in and out if you're in a hurry.

Great selection of blu rays. They helped me order a hard to find Fulci film and the price was good. I'd rather shop here than on Amazon.
