I have actually been here several times and it takes a while to warm up to the staff - they are not on the most friendly list , they do get the job done right though and keep in mind that they have a hard time dealing with the clientele , who are mostly in a distressed state. It reminds me of the old days when you had to go to the telephone company ! From my experience , mostly , if you give them your patience , they will give it back to you , maybe not the ideal situation , but that is just how it is with these people.

Usually more than an hour wait. Terrible for people with compromised inmune systems in the Covid 19 era.
In the time I spent waiting, I never saw anyone disinfect changing rooms. The gowns and the plastic wraps were all over the floor in every room. This is absolutely unacceptable!

Ugh. Everyone is rude. The service is slow. They're forcing me to watch political TV shows. I am sitting here an inch away from just walking out. A few days ago it took my doctor hours to get ahold of them in order to get results for a previous test. I am sitting here and I literally hear the phone ringing and nobody even bothering to pick it up.

I came here with a referral for a sonogram. The front desk clerk, looked at my record, and told me I needed a mammogram. I politely told her that, no, I did not need a mammogram and that I knew why I came there specifically for a sonogram. Much back and forth ensued. Finally I said to her, please just look at the referral! She was looking at the computer. Well it didn t matter to her. She just kept insisting I needed a mammogram. Another office manager came out and I explained to her why I was there. She looked at the paper referral and believed me. Wow! I am a female, less than 40 years of age, with no family history of breast cancer. Why would I need a mammogram?!! Even I know that. Christ. Then I waited 2 hours in the waiting room, and another half hour in a gown, with a bunch of other half naked ladies. This place is horrible. I can t imagine what would happen to someone older and confused. You would end up getting the wrong test!

Very very rude! It took me two hours to get to the appointment as soon as I get there they tell me that I'm late and I can not be seen today and they kept arguing about then I just left. I don't recommend this place at all. The staff members are so rude and unprofessional.

If I could post zero stars, I would. My appointment was for 10:50 AM, and I was told to be there an hour early to take the contrast as it takes an hour for it to take effect. I did, and it is now 12:15 and I have yet to be seen. I m their first patient today. There are 2 techs who can perform the scan...both are in traffic. Terrific. Oh it will just be another 15-20 minutes. I d love to work at a place where it s acceptable to show up around 12:30 and your workday ends at 5 PM. Must be nice.

They tried to send me to another BRMI location...which was closer to my house...but this location told me when I tried to make the appointment that they couldn t do it. Now they magically can?

Don t go here. Don t go to any BRMI. Ask to be referred anywhere else by your doctor.

Awesome staff... Very helpful and friendly on the phone and so courteous and kind when I arrive for my appointments. Always compassionate and comforting when I'm nervous about my tests. I don't understand or agree with the less than stellar reviews. I guess if you go in with a nasty attitude, you deserve one back. But I've witnessed staff handle rude patients with poise and grace. I would recommend to my closest friends and family... If my entire family didn't already use them.

Never on time. Showed up on time for our appointment to hear that they are running an hour behind. They can't even have the decency to call ahead and let us know so we don't rush there. Last time had the first appointment of the day and was still taken in 40 minutes late because the tech was late. Very unprofessional

Absolutely disrespectful staff, kept my mother waiting for hours before calling her WHILE SHE WAS STILL THERE, to tell her they've cancelled her appointment because she didn't show up. Also not the first time they've treated her that way. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE.

Ditto on the "behind the desk" crew. I had my mammogram, got a letter a week later saying I need to contact my doctor, who by the way never got a report from them...I called several times and finally my doctor called to say that she got the report and I needed to go back for further imaging. I scheduled an appointment and waited and waited and waited for the imaging. Finally took me for the imaging, and was told that I needed to do another 2 images. All this, and the radiologist never bothered to come out and speak to me. They had me wait (another 20 minutes) for an ultrasound, the technician sitting on her butt down the hallway. She did one, then another 2, and another set, and ANOTHER set of sonograms, AND STILL THE RADIOLOGIST DIDN'T COME IN TO SAY ANYTHING. (I've been to other places and the radiologist always came out to speak to me) I waited another week and my doctor had STILL NOT GOTTEN A REPORT! I called them and said I was calling for the gynecologist's office and asked if they had yet faxed the report. The woman said, "no, could you give me the fax number?" At this point I lost it, and said, "You mean to tell me that you haven't faxed the report because you don't have the fax number?!?!? This is the patient and here's what we're going to do. We are going to hang up, you are going to immediately call the doctor's office for the fax number and you are going to immediately fax the report to her." She didn't do it 'til the next day. I then decided to have nothing more to do with them, asked for a CD with all the imaging and reports and was told I could come in anytime to pick it up. I went over the next day, was told at the desk that it would take 20 minutes. Forty five minutes later I asked what was the hold up, and THEY WERE JUST STARTING TO BURN THE CD! We aren't talking about a hangnail here, ladies! I was really stressing. This place is an abomination! What more can you ask for? How about timely communication?

If you are going there for pregnancy/OB sonograms, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Went there for an early OB appt. they were rough, not professional or trained well, and not kind. They told me there was nothing in the gestational sac when in reality there was. (the report and my doc confirmed there was.) They would not let me see anything on the screen. Go to New Beginnings on 84th and Fort Hamilton. They are GREAT, kind and actually well trained there.

0000 star, very unprofessional staff, they call me for an appointment after my Dr sent them a referral, when i went there they told me that they don't have an authorisation for the whole foot, so they told me they will do only the ankle and the rest will be another time when I get the authorisation, I asked them why they didn't tell me that before they call me for an appointment, they said we don't know who called you. I don't know how can I get twice a babysitter because of their carelesseness mistake. And the problem when you ask to talk to the supervised they keep telling you he left for the day, so I don't know how this company is working with people without providing them any manager to follow up with the staff's mistake.horrible

Horrific experience - called to book an appointment and was continually put back on hold for nearly 20 minutes. I don't mind a long wait, but 6 times the receptionist answered the phone as if I'd just called and then put me back on hold, which was farcical. Finally, I was put through to someone who seemed like they'd book my appointment, and then they hung up! Terrible place - listen to the reviews!

I just wasted 3 hours of my life here today. I show up on time for 1:30 appt and finally get called back at 2:30. Bring me back to a room that does sonograms. But I m here for a mammogram. So they check the paperwork and send me to wait for the mamo. After the mammogram I m told to wait. So I wait for another 45 minutes at which time I speak up and am told I m now waiting for a sonogram. I march right into the office and demand to see my referral. Guess what it says. Only a mammogram not a sonogram. I was sitting with about 4 others women you were just as frustrated as I was. The people are incompetent and don t care. Not one of the employees had a smile or were engaging. Plus the rooms were overfilling with trash and even had a bloody bandaid on the floor. This is a disgrace. Maybe board of health would be interested in Visiting this place. Maybe that should be my next call

I really like bay ridge imaging. But yesterday was my first unpleasant experience. Everyone is so great but I has a liver scan and the man working with me was so uncompassinate. Didn't care I was a little nervous and ripped the iv right out of my arm. Was bleeding alot and today I am hurting and cannot move my arm. Otherwise I never had any problems. So sad what one experience can so to you.

The service could be the worst in medical field. Years ago, I had annual mammography which is preventive, no cost to patient. The front desk lady had to charge me $50 for a visit. She said she wouldn't let me do it without taking $50 from me. So I paid, then talked to manager. The manager said the company had to verify with insurance company, if I was right, they would refund me via mail. A few days later, I was informed they were wrong, a check would be sent out to me. But for months I ddin't receive the check, I had to call again. Of course, they wouldn't send out the check easily, investigation was needed. Months later I still didn't receive the check, I had to work with them again. To make the story short, somebody inside their office changed my home address, they meant not to get the refund to me. Finally I did receive $50 a year later, but so much time and communication involved, I just couldn't believe it.

When I first starting using Bay Ridge Imaging the ...

When I first starting using Bay Ridge Imaging the wait time was not to bad. But recently it has become horrendous. On different occasions when my son and I have needed a MRI the wait time has increased to at least 2 and a half to a 4 hour wait. When I took my son last time we waited 3 hours to find out 1) the machine was down and 2) they did not do that type of study here. Had to reschedule and find which Bay Ridge Imaging did the procedure. My last MRI I had 1) wait was 3 hours and 2) tech never offered ear plugs so I had to endure 45 minutes of noise. Need to go back for another MRI so I except to be here about 5 hours. ( I am packing food and a sleeping bag.) Now I know delays do happen but not on a consisted basis. ( I worked 16 years as a medical physicist / Radiation Oncology in a major New York hospital).

The worse brooklyn clinic, the service is very bad.The employees with bad attitude,they are unprofessional and don't mind the patient.As a extra bonus I was made to wait for 5 hours.

Called multiple times on multiple days asking whether a script for the imaging was received. The only reason I m heading here is because the imaging is read by a doctor and they have been accurate. Regardless, seriously thinking of finding a different place. Too aggravating dealing with the receptionists. If enough people leave they will hire more apt and better receptionists.

If there is a ranking for zero star I would give it to them. My dad passed away and did not have his medication because this place gave him an appointment for one day. When he went they claimed there wasn't any appointment and he had to re-make it. Now its too late for him to attend the next appointment. They don't care if the patient is sick and the doctor from the hospital writes that he needs to see a doctor as soon as possible. How is it possible that this place is so disorganize for appointments? I wouldn't recommend this place.

Went 4 MRI w/out contrast of Both Knees. Last scheduled appointment on a Sunday b4 closing. They called Friday 2Reconfirm my 2:30pm scheduled appointments. On Sunday they called again at 2:10pm 2see if I was on my way. 2 gals behind the desk were very nice. I had 2 xplain I didn't need 2 fill out paperwork & forms again bc I did that a few days earlier 2 save time & avoid feeling rushed when I arrived 4my tests. They said that was Good Thinking. They asked how I injured my knees & how I was feeling. Some people might find that intrusive but this is BROOKLYN so No harm with a little engaging conversation.
Only 2other people in waiting room, both hogging the view of the Salt Water Fish Tank.

The Radiology Technician had me put my bag in a cubby. He told me CLOSED MRI are faster than OPEN MRI but also LOUDER. He gave me new earplugs & instructed me on how 2put them in correctly. He asked me if I was COLD several times & offered blanket b4 starting.
Upon leaving, they called a FREE OF CHARGE Car Service 2 take me home! They said it's a courtesy paid 4 by the administration 4patients who get MRIs! I had no idea but they obviously let me know.

What a waste of my time. I should packed breakfast, lunch and dinner with pillow and blanket. Why do they even have appointments? I should called to sign in, went to work then stopped by after I finish.

They gave me my scan promptly and were courteous, but I felt confused that they didn't examine the area of the injury more carefully to make sure they were focusing on the right area. How reliable is a negative diagnosis by a radiologist who has never even learned where is the area of concern? It was not confidence-inspiring that a rude and overwhelmed clerical worker made we wait multiple times to get my paperwork afterwards, and then was visibly panicked on realizing she had completely forgotten about me. Guess I should have been more demanding?

I don't even know where to begin with this place. They are HORRIBLE!! Every time I have used them it was a problem. Called them to make sure that the test my son was scheduled for was possible since he has a colostomy bag. I was told yes it was not problem and to make sure he did all the prep work for the test. The prep work was a day and a half of fasting, and drinking a small bottle of some liquid. He does all this and then shows up for his appointment only to be told they don't do that test there? What the hell is wrong with the people answering their phones? Are they not trained or are they just too lazy to ask someone that actually might know the answer to questions. They clearly don't care about the patient, and they are the rudest people I have ever met. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! They only care about the money they get, and that's it.

Please don't use this office. Extremely unprofessional they close at 4 but stop answering phone calls at 3.30pm. Had an appointment for July 2nd but was asked to reschedule for the 3rd since doctor couldn't come in to the office. Now the office can't find my appointment. And the best they can do is offer me an appointment a month from now! So besides being unprofessional and unreliable they are extremely insensitive for suggesting I wait another month for the exam!

I ve only been to the one on 99th street. I wish that this company hired people who actually looked and acted as if they want to work there. Everyone behind the desk seems miserable and they make you feel miserable the second you step into that office. I mean... come on, at least smile and act cordial, not like it s paining you to get my information. Also, the wait is ridiculously long. I do not recommend this place to anyone, unless they do a complete overhaul of the people behind the desk. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Or if you must go, prepare to deal with a lot of attitude and waiting.

Staff on the phone is a little abrupt (and called me two days after they told my doctor they did) with not apologies. In person, the staff is OK enough but the front desk is awkward without any signage as to where to check in, so you have to stand there until someone acknowledges you. Like most doctors office these days (which doesn't make it acceptable), they'll make a big deal about being on time but when you're there, you'll wait 50+ minutes before being seen without an apology.

It is a sad state considering many people are coming for tests to rule out cancer or other serious conditions.

The front desk staff are appalling -- rude, dismissive, incompetent. Numerous times I told the front desk staff that I need only one test and that the doctor by mistake checked another test. I did not want to do the second test!! They were harassing me to complete another testing. They treated me as an immature and stupid person. I felt very offended and disrespectful.

Long story short, they left me in nothing but a gown, clutching my clothes, shuffling me between various open cold hallways filled with mostly men. I was already nervous to be there and then humiliated. Nothing about this operation shows any consideration for the patient.

NIGHTMARE!!!! The phone greeting claims of "a pro...

NIGHTMARE!!!! The phone greeting claims of "a professional and courteou staff", right. That's why when I recently had two major problems on the same day, I was blown off by "Wendy", the alleged facility manager. The 50 Shades of Gray tech who performed the mammorgram caused injury to my shoulder and skin. When I told her I'm allergic to adhesive - she slapped a piece on a specific sensitive area THEN, in an obnoxious way, said "Oh I forgot YOU don't want this" and she ripped it off leaving me with a rash and a large welt. When I told her that the machine was coming down on my shoulder in an awkward way and pulling muscle from the top and behind my shoulder and was causing excessive pain, she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Then her fellow Shades of Gray follower who did a breast sonogram became annoyed when I asked her to please lock the door - men were walking back and forth in the hall. After the sonogram, she purposely flung open the door wide open while I was sitting on the table, topless, wiping the sono gel off. The people who work there are low-brow, low class and have absolutely no respect for patients whatsoever. They seem more into get them in-get them out so they can go back to texting and phone calls. I'm now on anti-inflammatories for my shoulder which, due to pain, has a limited range of motion. This "Wendy" person - I spoke with her on that day and this afternoon - her exact words were "I'm not continuing this conversation". She WILL be continuing this conversation when she receives a letter from my attorney, and a copy of the complaint I'm filing with the OPMC (Office of Professional Medical Conduct) AND I expect to be reimbursed for the expenses I incurred from needing to visit my doctor and the money paid for the anti-inflammatory medication.

First the location is filled with sunlight and has plenty of seating. The staff sits in the back of the room giving patients plenty of room to walk in. Ruthy Valentine was so helpful and knowledgeable when I came in to have my mamo ! I am a teacher and she reminded me that the DOE gives teachers 4 hours in the work day to have a mamo done . That information was very helpful when I was scheduling my appointment. Further more on the day of my appointment Ruthy Valentine gave me a printed letter to hand my principal as evidence of my visit which I almost left behind. I found the staff to be genuinely committed to helping their patients. Lastly the technician who preformed the procedure was very very nice and cared about to my comfort during the procedure. What more can someone ask for.

I have been here a few times and they have been ve...

I have been here a few times and they have been very helpful with my needs. The wait time is a bit long if you have to do any MRI or what not but that's because of the amount of patients I'm assuming. They have been friendly and when I needed my records I didn't have to wait for long. Also they answer the phone pretty quickly and are very nice. Not sure what other patients have experienced but mine has been a pleasant one. Doctors are also very nice and humorous.

The staff are at a total disconnect! Waste of time and no compassion. The receptionist informed me that my 12 year old daughter needed 6 hours fasting for her sonogram even though the requesting doctor never checked it off on the prescription but Stat was checked. She told us to return at 6pm today for the sonogram in response I asked what time they closed.. 7pm! We are not locals and thus we did some errands and returned at 5:45pm. The same lady now proceeds to tells us that technician is leaving at 6pm and refused to allow my poor fasting daughter to do the sonogram and her parents who had to take half day off work for this procedure. All she would offer us is to come back tomorrow! To think we don t have a life? My daughter has remote schooling and we have work too! Never will I just trust a referral from the pediatrician without reading reviews. Big mistake on my part but hopefully others will view these reviews and not head to this center. Why would we give them business after this fiasco?.. they should be out of business!

Reading all of the reviews that are posted here... I had quite the opposite experience... Everyone was extremely professional and very friendly.
Especially Liz... She is one of the people working in the front.
She was extremely helpful.
Caitlin did my cat scan with contrast and even though I was nervous she help to allay my fears.
100 % recommend.
I had a great experience. They fit me in as an emergency. So grateful.
Thanks guys for the great care.

Second time going to 71st and 13th Avenue, and the girls behind the desk are VERY NASTY. They never say I'll be right with you. Then when you ask a question, they get annoyed and respond in a nasty tone. Will NEVER go there again!! Patients going in sick don't need rude people.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I specifically asked for a time frame to go there because my 81 year old mother who has severe high blood pressure is recently suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks. We were the first to arrive and the woman behind the desk when explaining my mothers condition said yeah I know how she feels No you don t you re 22. Than the new hire made a clerical error and caused us to be there for 2 hours. I made frantic phone calls thinking there was something wrong with her insurance and than the new girl went out to lunch. The other woman when asked me more questions saw all of my cards asked me why I didn t hand them in to begin with. ARE YOU KIDDING??? The new girl told me the numbers were invalid when I handed them in 2 hours prior. I was boiling. My mother started crying and her blood pressure rose. No sympathy at all from the people who worked there. Can people just do their jobs and act like humans??

My Orthopedic doctor recommended this place a few...

My Orthopedic doctor recommended this place a few blocks away from his office to get a Doppler. I went and had it done..so far, so good. A couple of weeks later, I had another one done at a different place and they found a torn vein in my leg that needs to be reattached, which confuses me why didn't it show up on my Doppler then? Was it their fault or my doctor who got the results?
