Lovely well built and designed, environment warm and friendly

This iconic Theatre is a must on your bucket list, visiting Cape Town... personally I see at least one show a year... sometimes 2!

The best of the best SA talent always appears on stage and sometimes great international acts too.

Go EARLY and get good parking... at least 30 mins before the show starts.

You can buy some like snacks at the Baxter... coffee, juice & water, crisps and chocolates,etc.

Always a good night out for adults...

I went to watch musical of merle by marc lottering.. Amazing!!!!!

They always have good shows.. The cultural experience.

Enjoyed Martin Davis's one man show at The Mother City Comedy festival on Friday

One of the oldest (if not the oldest) theatres in SA. Great visit. Reasonable prices.

Great place to be, great service and the atmosphere is inviting

Creative atmosphere, great not just for watching plays but is a cool place to grab a bite, read or study.

We went to see Die Kamphoer here. Nice evening out with my husband. The beverages are served in a plastic cup to take with into the show. Prices for drinks are way overpriced.

A must watch ..the Mark Lottering Show..I haven't laughed so much in a very long time . .Brilliant .

Sooo absolutely delightful! I really enjoyed my experience here and their bar staff is on point (the slushie I had was so awesome).

What an in unbelievable theater,where live performances are a spectacular thing whether is stand up or singing the experience is always remarkable.

Visited Maharaj Vegetarian Restaurant at the Baxter Theatre. Had a wonderful time. The food was great as well as the host & staff.

An amazing theatre venue. Always various entertainment in the different theatres. The seating is comfortable and the staff are very helpful.

Delightful 70s decor . Fabulous show. Unfortunately tonight my knee failed me mechanically at the theatre and I had to walk in unbelievable pain down three flights of stairs before I could get a lift down one floor and then walk to the parking area. Maybe you need to rethink this and have at least one wheelchairs available. I have been to the Baxter many times before and have never had issues with the stairs.My misfortune tonight.

Disappointed in the amount of food brought into the theatre during a show.

I just generally love Baxter Theatre because there are usually a variety of shows and I always find a show that interest me.

The theatre is brilliant however parking is a bit of a problem.

Great entertainment. A Cape Town must do experience when there is a good performing act..

Always a special venue, love the grand feeling of the events hosted here.

It is always a pleasure to go to this professionally run complex. The architecture is beautiful and one can have drinks and something to eat.

Always love it as I get to bump into old varsity pals, the theatre space generally always has a soothing feel to it.

Being the home of Aunty Merle, the Baxter is a favourite visit for us when in Cape Town.

Beautiful building, nice and thoughtful staff, great cultural offer. The guests are a vibrant crowd of all ages.

Yet again wowed by a fabulous show (Endgame) at this beautiful theatre!

The Constantia Fair was held there over the weekend - great venue and hopefully brought in much needed funds.

The Cafe was terribly unhelpful. I ordered a toasted cheese sandwich, I was brought a toasted cheese and tomato. I asked for another one as I don't eat tomato. 2 minutes later I was brought the same sandwich that they'd just taken the tomato off, but not all of it. Not appetizing at all

Marc Lottering show was amazing! Only snag was that my tickets couldn't successfully be scanned off my phone at the door. Also there needs to be clearer signs on how to find certain doors. We were told we had to go to a door that we found was locked.

The sound quality left a lot to be desired. We really struggled to hear.

Always a fantastic experience! And thank you aunty Merle for helping us with our gender reveal

Great place and the comedy great I did enjoyed the show

It's beautiful and ideal for big organization. Attending a church service here but there are a lot of theather works happening almost all the time.

Excellent Venue- Brilliant Show. Funny Festival definitely a WINNER. Will be back
