Saw Marc Lottering's Aunty Merle, it's a girl! Loved the show. Awesome cast and Marc is simply the best!

Very expensive for locals no matter what production. Drinks are expensive. The ushers don't always adhere to the curtain call as they still allow latecomers in which causes disturbances. Stunning shows catering for everyone, kids, musicals, comedy, theatre, art etc.

Always lovely theatre experience here. Interiors are neat and comfortable.

Great, thank you. Aunty Merle was absolute best. Thank you for 180 minutes of solid laughter. Left with a sore jaw from laughing.

We spent R105 on two of the smallest wine glasses of Pinotage at the bar and at break time we went to buy another 2 and paid R90 for two Pinotages. When we enquired as to why the one was more expensive we were told that the one wine is more expensive. Its way too expensive so I suggest people eat and drink up before they attend a show at the baxter.

The performance I went to watch was great,but we were very disappointed in the little shop,that only sells coffee,chips and chocolate.

Well organised. Numerous ushers keep the crowd moving. On site parking if you are early. Excellent vegetarian restaurant on the premises. A bit frustrating that late-commers were allowed to disrupt the performance.

Been a really long time since I've been to the Baxter. Had a good laugh watching Mark Lottering's new show.

Covid protocols were in place which I think is reassuring in way as we all know that it's not like that everywhere, so that was a good thing.

All in all a good night.

Always a superb time at the Baxter. The staff are wonderful. Food always good, and drinks always available. Quality shows and always willing to help out

Love Factually is a really great show but the seating in the Flipside venue is appalling!! Cramped, hard & torturously unpleasant!

The show burn the floor is fantastical the energy is just awesome the dancing spectacular

"I love the 70s architecture of the Baxter and the vegetarian Indian cuisine which I highly recommend before a show. On busy nights there is a buffet to showcase superb Indian delights and even meat eaters will be blown away. Every time I've been to the Baxter I've seen superb shows and last night was no exception. "Consumed" had me hanging onto every word. The drama which delves into the mind of an addict was incredibly powerful and thought provoking. Cudos to the new writer on the block for Mishmash Media.

Watch the best local drama, comedy, action & musical theatre has to offer. But local is "leka"(nice).

Not enough space to seat in the waiting area....always queues to buy Drinks...The Parking is a bit nightmarish.....

To many people with out mask at the gift fair. No social distancing. Very scary.

I attend morning melodies (seniors) once a month. Fantastic artists and great variety catering for all tastes of music.

Unique, true to the arts and captivating each and everytime one sets foot in this awe inspiring space.The Baxter and the productions showcased is much needed therapy to the heart ,mind and soul in this age we live in.

The Jive Funny Festival was awesome. I totally advise all to see the show. Great show to all comedians

The best theater I have been to, I simply enjoyed my time watching the Aunty Merle Musical by Marc Lottering. The staff were helpful and the facilities was accessible.
There was books, dvds and more for sale. There is restaurants that offers alcoholic beverages and non alcoholic.

Interesting shows and a great pre performance vegetarian buffet!
