Went here for my honeymoon and we had an amazing experience. The hotel property has a beautiful layout and we absolutely loved the villa we stayed in. The food and drink options were excellent. The staff was warm and accommodating and made us feel right at home.

From the warm greeting we received from the concierge on Sanur Beach, to our welcome drink, to our beautiful villa, to the unparalleled views, I can safely say that Batu Karang is the nicest place to stay on Nusa Lembongan. I would stay here again in a heartbeat on my next trip to Bali.

Very good room and facilities. However, the view from the room where I stayed was disturbed because of the trees and the roof of the previous cottage.
Breakfast of restaurant was delicious without complaint.

The resort is beautiful, very rich food, the service is excellent !! The only thing is you have to go down several steps ... take you to your room by golf cart !! I highly recommend it if you want to enjoy a couple or hotel !!

Beautiful Resort, incredible and helpful staff, some of the best food on the island. If you're looking for a place to stay on this island I could not recommend it higher. We came as three couples with kids and we all left with the same positive experience.

The Resort is Australia known, so they do not charge an additional two to 3% increase on charges with credit cards.

They will also help book your ferry ride back to Bali, and almost any other service you want around the island. Their masseuses were also some of the best I've had in and around Bali.

Best place for experience and have organic food, hydroponic farm

An oasis of friendliness and relaxation. Three days we were guests at the resort and we felt very comfortable and welcome. Everywhere a smile and a warm welcome. The villas are located on the hillside with beautiful views of the sea and the sunset. You can save yourself the gym and run yourself or even go up. The breakfast by the pool is terrific and the "Islander" my absolute favorite. Many thanks to all for wonderful days.

Stayed here back in 2015 for my 30th and couldn't have wished for more. Amazing accomodation, service and facilities. The view was pretty special too!

Great view of the ocean, clear blue water, tons of water sport activities, good privacy

Absolutely adore Batu Karang. The location and service is amazing. Also if you travel with more luggage this is the perfect location as you can get dropped at the top and buggy can take you to your villa door, this is not available to most accom with the amazing views on the hill and you need to carry your luggage.

Worst service, maybe don't know what "polite" means

Amazing beautiful hotel with attentive staff. Definitely the best high end hotel on Lembongan. Several pools available allowing you to always find a quiet spot to chill for the day, the views are spectacular throughout the resort. Since its located in a steep slope prepare for lots of walking up and down including lots of stairs if you do not want to use the complimentary buggy service.

Its not a place suitable for smaller children, all pools are deep and there are lots of places where they could potentially fall and injure themselves.

Great breakfast at the restaurant, large portions and very good quality.

Overall it s a nice comfy hotel on the island, but can t compare to global chain five stars hotels.

Amazing views of Lembongan, and some of the friendliest staff you will ever meet. Visit the place if you can!

The biggest problem if you visit and stay in Lembongan island is the fresh water, after several visit finally I found the best villa with quality fresh water, huge bath room and terrazzo bath tub. Also they provide you good amenities too with quality spa products. I can say this is one of my favorite villa in Lembongan with great view, longest pool, heaven atmosphere, super fast buggy service, excellent friendly staffs and the room so impressed me. It's worthy with the high price we paid, the menu option for breakfast also WOW me, the DECK restaurant also the good, so many options and friendly staffs. Will be back here for sure again.
PS : If you are in Bali, you should visit Lembongan Island and surrounds.

The rooms are so pretty and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is delicious and the towels are generous.
When returning to the room, the slope is severe, so be sure to use the buggy.

It is a very expensive price on the island, but it is definitely worth the money.
The environment and hotel services are all perfect.
I enjoyed dinner and breakfast here, all very delicious.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Lots of different levels, three pools (the swim up one of the best), THE friendliest staff ever, fantastic views, lovely food. We will definitely be back.

Exceptional all-round experience for our honeymoon. The staff, dining, room, pools and quality was world-class. We could not fault this place. My wife and I will be back again soon!!

Batu Karang - what a place .

Amazing friendly and very helpful staff. Waking up every morning to an amazing view can t be beaten.

Food was lovely , and great facilities.

Only recommendations would be the inclusion of room service and some extra bar fridge snacks .

If you do decide to stay here, we highly recommend contacting the owner of the Nemo boat out the front and do a private snorkeling trip, lovely guy and amazing experience.

What an absolute stunning place to stay! I was concerned after booking about how large and impersonalised the place would be but it has blown my expectations away. It has a very boutique and classy feel. Staff are super friendly and an amazing facility range. So happy to have stayed here!!!

Awesome hotel a short walk from where the ferry drops you off. Book with the Rocky Fast Ferry and the staff will meet you when you arrive to bring your bags to your room straight away. Staff also will book you reservations at restaurants off property and provide transportation - just ask. The pool bar up top is swim-up and has great happy hour specials. The rooms are spacious and have outdoor showers and tubs (my favorite part). Our room was towards the top and had an unreal view. Fantastic place!

Wonderful place for chillaxing and just pottering about. Great for dive and snorkeling activities. Clear warm water with an amazing array of sea life. Batu Karang is an undiscovered haven for any would be photographer.

Getting around is easy - walk, cycle, taxi, boat or bus. I didn't try the bus but it looked OK.

Super relaxation is also very suitable for couples and sisters to come to the hotel, the evening is very quiet and leisurely, so that you can enjoy the feeling of vacation.

Having moved hotels after being disillusioned by another "5*" hotel on lembongan - we arrive at Batu Karang and had nothing but an exceptional time. Valerie, Luca and the team and Batu Karang went out of their way to deliver exemplary customer service.
The breakfasts are amazing and sun downers at Howff were real highlights.
Thanks for a wonderful time - we will definitely be back.

We had a superb experience at this resort, the room was stunning and large, breathtaking views and the resort facilities were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Many choices for food and beverages, The Deck, Whisky Bar, Cafe, Main Restaurant, Swim Up Pool Bar. The meet and greet form the boat was flawless, we travelled from holiday Inn Baruna and the resort managed everything. Juni welcomed us and look after us thought our stay in addition to Mega and Valerie who all went above and beyond with customer service and making us feel welcome. The only negative was the day spa the staff were not friendly and didn't communicate very well. We tried to book a couple spa and it was all too hard. We would 100% recommend this property and go back again perfect spot to surf playgrounds. The happily created a space for our boards near reception to abide carrying them up and down the hill. Amazing resort, staff and stay! I also have to mention that they really took care of us because we were stuck a little longer at immigration than expected and missed the last ferry at Sanur. Their driver quickly found us a new ferry, got us there and even had water ready for us as soon as we arrived. Their staff go above and beyond for you!

Great breakfast view and choices. Heathy and delicious. The outdoor shower is something else! Best shower of my life :)

The view in the morning and at night is breathtaking. I wish i could stay awake watching the stars. Can see Sanur lights at night from here.

The structural design of our villa is top notch. Really really well done.

However the reason I m giving this place 3 stars instead of 5 as follows:

1. Housekeeping did a terrible job on cleaning our room, left garbage sack (see picture below), didnt replace the bath salts and soap, they took my personal white towel that i hang to dry (although it could ve been a honest mistake but most places dont take towels that you hang to dry). Toilet room was dirty, there was a squished bug or something else gross near the toilet?. It felt like they cleaned the place in a rush.

We were in this amazing resort for 3 days. This is a must to go resort. We were in Villa number 1. The view was amazing. The villa itself was so beautiful and extremely clean! We could stay in the villa all day and enjoy every second of it! The only downfall was the stone bathtub which had became yellow and we didnt use it. The staff were extremely kind and happy and from the very first day they started calling us by our names!! So lovely! Manager of the resort (a very young lady) greeted us and introduced herself on our arrival. I think she is doing a great job there! The restaurant serves high class delicious french style cuisine! Do expect to pay high prices for the foods there but we were OK since we just wanted to enjoy or time! The Indonesian chef was very stylish and nice and came to our table with a big smile one day and asked how we liked his food! The answer was VERY MUCH of course! The foods reminded us of great restaurants in Vancouver. Pools are clean and nice!
I am giving 4 starts and not 5 because cocktails were not good!! Very basic and not professional at all!! limited selection of wines and beer bothered us a bit!
All in all, I would definitely go back there!

Fantastic hotel on the cliff. The little houses (rooms) are made of wood with a luxury touch. The open bathroom give a feeling of nature and freedome. The view of the ocean and harbour is wonderful. Perfect for a romantic stay. Very good restaurant and tasty cocktails at the bar.

Came foe peace and quiet. Next door villa right next to our room with thumping music and screaming. Asked to move rooms. Told property fully booked. V disappointed as was so looking forward to a relaxing time.

I loved this hotel. From Winie at reservations who helped us rejig our entire holida, to Mega at the front desk who ALWAYS had a big smile...we loved it. The restaurant downstairs 'THE DECK' was a highlight as were the giant rooms, extraordinary views, and huge pools. I hope to return at somepoint - was a highlight of our Bali trip.

Amazing. Paradise. This place was incredible and everyone so friendly. Every detail was thought of and the staff called us by our names from the moment we arrived. I couldn't recommend more and I can't wait to return! This is the kind of place you don't want to leave- something I didn't really think possible...I always feel the need to explore. But as soon as I arrived here I found a lounger and didn't move for two days! Do yourself a favor and book a stay here!!

We spent an amazing three days and nights at Batu Karang and loved it!!!!! Our room was like a dream for our honeymoon (We booked the Superior room with plunge pool). We originally booked two nights and extended it to third because we had such a wonderful time. Breakfast is great though you should plan to digest for a bit before going on any boats (it's a lot of food). Really amazing service from the very friendly hotel staff. Some excursions booked through the hotel are perhaps on the pricey side? but may be worth it depending on your guide - research your options. In any case, this hotel is truly lovely :)

More than five star!!!

Resort:
When you take the ferry to Nusa Lembongan, you will see a hill of fancy villas overlook the ocean. That is Batu Karang! The resort has three pools and is located very close to the pier. The view from the resort was just phenomenal. The bar next to the main pool has a view of the pier and the ocean. Although the resort is built on the hill, they have golf carts taking you ups and downs all the time.

Spa:
We had a couple massage in the resort where you can see the beach directly with natural breeze. Absolutely the best outdoor spa experience I ve had in Bali. It s not just the best in Nusa Lembongan but also among all others in main Bali island.

Room:
We love the room. The interior design has such a good taste. Bathroom is completely outdoor, very Bali style. Bathtub is 100% stone and massive. The soap provided is so nice. Smell very organic!! The bed equipped with mosquito net though we don t have much mosquito in the room. Balcony is huge and has amazing view of the ocean. We did yoga at our balcony. The resort is very sweet that they also provides yoga mat.

Food:
The food in the resort is really good!! The whole island has very little choices of food restaurant and bars. We were so glad to have chosen Batu Karang that we can just dine in. Our breakfast was included and the menu provides wide selection of choices. We had dinner at Muntigs in the resort and it was an unforgettable experience. Extremely romantic setup and top service not to mention the food was just amazing.

Service:
We can t thank enough to the owner Troy for taking such a good care of us. The service here is beyond satisfaction. We thought it was run by a luxury hotel management group and were really surprised to find out its actually a family business. The staff here is very attentive and friendly. I got injured from a scooter crash an hour before our boat was leaving. The resort urgently took care of my wound, loaded our luggage and made sure we wouldn t be late for our boat. It was truly a heartwarming experience staying here.

We wish we had spent more time at this resort and already start planning to come back.
