My Boy Scout Troop did the encampment overnight stay on Mighty Mo and they take great care of you. Sleep on actual crew bunks, take afternoon and night tours, and eat in the crew galley. Great program and they have tours that are interesting for all age groups. They even let us retrieve the colors off the fantail of the ship, and raise them the next morning. I encourage all scouts to apply for this opportunity. The staff were extremely knowledgeable of all things Battleship Missouri.

the Big Mo, a beautiful battleship. One of just four in the American fleet, now retired from active service. It sits where the USS Oklahoma was berthed on December 7th, right behind the Arizona. You can spend hours wandering through this floating museum.

This was fantastic! Our guide was terrific. Really enjoyed seeing the bookends of the war. Favorite part of more of personal stories like the kamakaze pilot who crashed into the ship and hearing how young those pilots were then. I also love that the Mighty Mo wasn't forgotten and scraped for parts, but kept as part of our history.

The story of the Japanese guide of the volunteer was wonderful. For Japan, it was a nice historically important boat ride.
It is impossible to explain this size and power unless it actually experiences.

Participated in the ceremony to obtain American citizenship on the deck here. The weather was great and the breeze was so comfortable that it was easy to spend. "Feels so Good (Chuck Mangione)" thanks to "Breezin '(George Benson)". For attendees and relatives of the ceremony, the entrance fee (about $ 27) is free. Many new citizens were coming with their relatives. It looked like a big "celebration". At that time, I was the only one in Hawaii, so it was an absolute minority attending by myself.

I put 5 Stars here because I attended the Ceremony for People who have gotten A CITIZENSHIP OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on its DECK!! The Weather was the Best then I was sooo comfortable for nice BREEZE. "Feels so Good" for "Breezin '"The Attendance and his or her Relatives of the Ceremony are free for Entrance Fee (Around $ 27). Many NEW CITIZEN visited there with their Relatives. It looked like a BIG" CELEBRATION ". At that time, Only I stayed at Honolulu so I was very few that I went there ALONE.

Standing on the spot where Japan surrendered is incredible, despite all the campy activities you have to endure before getting on the Missouri, i.e., photos with helmets, hot dog and ice cream stands, etc. The bus drive can be a bit wearying too. Since you have to pay to go to most places around Pearl Harbor, save your money for this and the Arizona.

Grants interesting view into life aboard a warship. Nice, big boat with lots to explore, read, and learn. Clean, and with friendly staff. Expect some construction on the boat itself; it's never not being maintained. Even for non-history buffs it makes for a great afternoon. Cool as hell.

I wish we had spent all day at the battleship. We did a guided tour and had 2-3 hours on the Missouri but we could have spent twice that amount of time looking around. Extremely well set up with tons of information. Make sure you do the guided tour. I'd go back here in a heart beat.

This is a great place and worth the visit but it is very expensive. Bring lots of money. Currently they are renovating the deck and conning tower. Lots of history but it is still in its 1992 reconfiguration for the gulf war.

An awesome memorial to the US Armed Forces. Take a guided or unguided tour, your choice, but make sure you see the place where a war that killed an estimated 60 million people ended.

There are tour guides to walk you through and along the self guided tour to answer questions. Tours are on the main deck and also the deck below. Be careful and mind your knees and head. As with any naval ship, things are tight and cramped so bumping into things is common.

Prices are $27 per adult, cannot remember kid prices though. Gift shop, food trucks and more are on premises too.

In late June and July 4th weekend, there are also picnics with discounted admission ($15 per adult, $10 per kid day of, but $10 per adult and $5 per kid if you buy in advance). You can bring your own food or hit up one of the food trucks, with a hands on exhibit and Lego play area.

You reach the Missouri from a shuttle bus coming from the Pearl Harbor museum center.
there is a tour guide that explains you the history of the ship. I tough it was extremely interesting from both the technical as well as the historical point of view.

Great experience on Missouri. Though I've only been for army ceremonies and Easter service which was sooooo good. There Missouri is a living piece of American history and should you ever have the chance to visit you must.

During my visit we got put on lock down for the shooting that happened on the base. The staff were very great while we were all locked in the dining hall, making sure we all had water and keeping everyone calm.

I had the luxury of having a personal tour of the Missouri by a high school friend who was stationed in Pearl Harbor, retired, and living here. A little surprised at the entry fee, but know it is expensive to upkeep such a large ship!
