Should be 6 STARS. A must do experience if in Honalulu. I didn't actually come out here on my first trip but visited on my second trip when the kids were old enough to enjoy climbing all over this mighty ship. The history is well documented all over the vessel. Really can't recommend highly enough the need to do this.

One of the must visits while in Hawaii. You almost have free run of the ship while your there. Obviously some things are closed off but get a great idea of what life was like when it was in service.

This is a must see. The battleship is very well preserved and the ship itself is impressive to say the least. It was surreal to see how the crew lived and operated this floating city/armory.

The Mighty Mo is a big and brutal part of history. She's totally outdated by today's modern warfare standards, but it's pretty amazing to walk through her belly and imagine the feeling of being on board during battle. Definitely worth a few minutes of quiet contemplation to stop at the deck where the agreement to end WW2 was signed.

A rare opportunity to glimpse a key piece of naval hardware that played an integral role throughout multiple key points during the 20th Century. The basic tour only covered a limited space on the ship, which at first, I couldn't understand given the sheer size of the vessel. Essentially you tour the bow and starboard sides, a bit of the tower, then are left on your own to explore the rest. Once we started below deck, we understood why - the fact that the ship was retrofitted in the 80's means that you get all of its glory (or lack thereof), which means "old" but not in an interesting historical way. So many of the passageways were deserted and sparsely documented, it just felt a bit creepy being so alone in such a large space. I hope in the future more will be done to restore the interior, so my advice would be to skip below the deck (or just do a brief tour), and move onto other sites in the Monument.

The Battleship Missouri is a historical Naval vessel that has defended the US for many years. She has been turned into a museum so the people can understand the trials and tribulations of what the sailors of the past had to go through. The year 2019 marked the 75th Anniversary to her commissioning. This place is family friendly, people who have trouble getting around such as going up and down stairs and or ladders may have trouble visiting this place.

Our favorite site at Pearl Harbor. Very cool to board a battleship and see how it functions and how the sailors live on the ship.
The audio tour was excellent I suggest doing that, it let's you go at your own pace. So don't skip picking up a headset

90 minutes is not enough to fully absorb the place of The USS Missouri in modern history. I could have spent half the day there. It was also very poignant to see the kamikaze exhibit and read the letters of the Japanese pilots to their families and loved ones before they went off to their certain fates.

Loved touring this battleship. Give yourself plenty of time. Guided or self tours available. Everything is well marked. Only down side was being forced to have picture taken while waiting in line. Would not let us skip the picture. Added time to the waiting line.

If you're looking for an attraction that is a must see, this is one of the places you have to go to! The tour is self guided and the ship has a lot of different places to go into and explore as well as learning about all the interesting history the ship has been through. The price for the tour is completely worth for the amount time you'll be spending on the ship!

I was sorry that it was under repair.
However, the former Imperial Japanese Army was on this ship ...
I thought it was unscrupulous but deeply emotional.
The Japanese guide was also very easy to understand with a polite explanation.

As a World War II history buff I cannotexplain the profoundness of visiting the very spot where it ended. I've toured military ships before but this is the first that I have from the WWII era. It is definitely a great experience and when I come back to Hawaii I will definitely come here again.

I gave the guide a detailed explanation with a deck. After that, the inside of the ship went around only by themselves, but it was only a very interesting place and I wanted to hear the explanation here. Maybe I should have borrowed the audio guide.
