Great guided by Larry, if you go please do yourself the favor and take the guided tour.
Wish would have had a bit more time to look around a bit more.

This is an amazing part of our history, of dedication, resolve and perseverance.
It is moving memorial to our heroes. And they were young.
The ship was named by President Truman as he was proud of his state Mississippi.
This ship played a very important role in the second world war as well as the end of the war. There are plaques and pictures of the surrender by the Japanese generals.
The ship is a floating museum. You can see how the sailors lived. Very interesting and moving. It really is important for us learn and know about this part of the history.
The Japanese government surrendered on this ship. And the war ended here.
Absolutely worth visiting. Get on a tour as the guides have so much knowledge. The views from the decks is also great.
Like all reviews, it was great to have a Korean guide. I've already seen the historical content in the blog post, but it was really different when the guide gave me an explanation in the field.
Worth more than the price
On the other hand, you don't have to watch the submarine. It doesn't have a guide and it's too shabby compared to Missouri.
It would be nice to visit Missouri & Memorial. (Not recommended for submarines & planes)
Awesome. The size, the significance, and the tour guides; just great.
The, breeze, the beauty, and the structure, make an unforgettable experience!
Well laid out with sufficient posters of historical information. Amazing to see the exact spot where the surrender documents were signed.
Definitely worth taking the tour. Take lots of pictures too. This fine ship has so much history. It is an amazing trip to walk on the same deck that great world leaders walked on and so many soldiers fought on for our freedom.
Must see if you are visiting Hawaii. The boat ride over is amazing. The actual memorial itself can be a little crowded but it's very well maintained.
Beautiful ship with much history around it.
Wish we had more time to examine everything, but we had to catch a flight.
Outstanding lesson in history and such an appreciation for our military. Very cool.
You have to go if you have never seen it yet. Plan on a few hours. So much of the ship is open.
Really interesting place. We did the FREE guided tour with Toby. He actually served on the boat in WWII. I would recommend you try to get him if you can. Amazing place to explore and see. There's so much history on that boat.
Careful on the stairs its easy to slip but fun ship to explore.
So good! We did the in depth tour and got to go to the engine room.
The tour was awesome! Be sure to budget a minimum of half a day's worth of time to see everything.
I imagined it different, it seemed more like a Disney resort.
Can't say enough about this. Being on the ship that ended world war 2 is very powerful. An absolutely must if in Hawaii. I really enjoyed that they opened up the ship to view several layers from sailors that weren't only from the WW2 days but from the days it severed in its later life.
Interesting ship would appreciate a little more insight on the tour
Excellent preserved battleship, the Missouri has had an illustrious career and is well worth a visit when at Pearl Harbour. Our time was far too short on this great battleship.
Definitely worth seeing. The ship on which WWII ended with Japan. You can visit a lot. Unfortunately, there is not enough time as part of an organized tour.
This is was the best tours I have ever been on, learned a lot about the history of the Missouri. Being from Canada it was great time for us.
Have different feelings from other sightseeing sites. Unfortunately, the top tower of battleship is under maintenance and covered.
Wow big guns! It's great we have these huge peices of history to see
A site full of history. As a veteran I enjoyed visiting this famous battleship.
Held my retirement ceremony from the navy here. Very symbolic, as WWII and my career both ended on the same place.
Take the guided tour on the upper deck, they are so knowledgeable and you ll learn so much! Tour the decks below which are surprisingly roomy and rich with history. The atmosphere just outside is nostalgic with signage and seating. There s also a food truck!
Great self guided tour through one of America's historical battleships. Leave plenty of time to walk through all the lower floors.
Awesome. We went earlier in the morning and basically had the whole ship to ourselves
A boat loaded with the history of the United States from the Second World War until the Gulf War, including the signing of Japan's reissue act in 1945.
The main deck is being restored. Definitely worth a guided tour and allow plenty of time to explore on your own. Some parts of the inside get warm. Arrows map out your path very well.
The employees were good the food truck was very good and the exhibit was very decent
A beautiful memorial to those who perished here and those who survived the attack.
Take the full tour. Such a cool ship. And lots of informative videos too!
The last of the great battleships in our US Navy. Fantastic ship, worth every penny. One can see the spot where declaration of peace between Japan and the United States was signed. The Victory Japan signing spot, or one can say the VJ signing location. The USS Missouri or "Mighty Morning" as it is affectionately called, does also have the distinction of being the only battleship that was commissioned back into service for Desert Shield/Storm, aka, the first Iraq war in 1990. This vessel was fitted with the state of the art tomahawk missiles. I highly recommend this historical attraction to anyone.
Wow is the best way to describe this. Not enough hours in one day to take everything in
During our 5-night stay at Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina in late June, 2018, we visited this Battleship Missouri Memorial after visiting USS Arizona Memorial. Frequent shuttle buses connected Battleship Missouri Memorial and WWII Memorial Park where USS Arizona Memorial was located. As we approached Battleship Missouri, we became awe struck by the majestic battleship ahead of us. Passing by the life size cutout of a U.S. sailor kissing a stranger nurse at NY Times Square in an exhilarating celebration of the WW II V-J Day, we climbed up to the deck to explore the ship. The ships' mighty guns, situation room, computer room, the rooms with pictures of the ship's past engagements in multiple wars, crews quarters, engine rooms, messhall, and armored decks were all very impressive. Above all, the historical spot on the main deck, where Japanese delegations and Allied Nations' delegation led by General McArthur signed the documents ending WWII with Japan's surrendar, was most impressive and memorable. This battleship memorial is a must-see memorial for the visitors to Oahu, Hawaii.
The guide is very knowledgeable about the history that happened in pear harbor. Very nice to see the ship in person, huge guns, and very historic ship. This is were the Japanese signed their surrender to the allies. Visit pearl harbor when your in hawaii.
Standing where world changing history took place was amazing..
Really great exhibit honouring the war and US Navy.
Awesome. Good to see some renovation being done at this time but a lot of less walking space on the ship
It is great Battleship and with the great might, kissing the off shores of pearl harbor It is the great ship of the U.S.A NAVAL ASSETS nice and also amazed to see it .
Thanks to the U.S.A National Archives for maintaining it .
LONG LIVE AMERICA ...
I've never been to a battleship before and it was great.
The (free) guided tour was quick but decent. guide was able to answer many questions. touring around inside the ship take a quite a while. don't expect to learn much about the pearl harbor attack here, it's more about just this ship. I would not recommend this to anyone with mobility issues. lots of steep ladders and steps inside.
If you have time, it's worth going. The picture comes out well
In January 2016, the boarding of the bow deck was being replaced. In April 2017, the bridge part was being renovated and covered with white sheets
Still it is recommended because it is a ship closely related to Japan
It was an amazing experience. Great piece of history defined on this ship.
Great piece of history. Had a great time touring the entire ship!
To walk the decks of this magnificent battleship is to walk into history. At the site on the deck where Japan signed the surrender, there are photos of all of the dignitaries that attended that event and they are identified quite clearly. Visitors are able to tour by themselves everything on the deck and above (a paid tour takes visitors below decks for a more in-depth tour). Deck visitors may enter various different cabins and see what it was like to live in the cabin as the commanding officer, or the chief medical officer, or even the radar crew. It is a tour that every American should take when presented the opportunity. You will not regret it.
Well maintained place with a lot of history to learn
Great experience seeing a ship up close and learning about the history
Amazingly cool tour. Make sure you get a guided walkthrough, lots of really interesting facts.
Tour guides are well informed and tell the stories well
Great place to get a taste of history. Make sure to take a cap and sunscreen for the tour since it gets real hot on the deck, good thing is they have a water bottle refill station. Woulf love to go again.
A wonderful experience. Lots of narrow steep stairs and if you are over 6' tall watch your head
Spectacular. It was me and my wife's first time checking out the Missouri. The tour guide we had was knowledgeable and sweet. After we did the guided tour, we got to walk around below deck and check out the living areas and different rooms and compartments. Checking out a part of history, where World War 2 ended was also amazing. I highly recommend checking it out when you come to Pearl Harbor.
It's amazing to walk in the footsteps of the soldiers who called the Missouri home. They are in the process of refurbishing the entire deck, but are doing small portions at a time so you can still see most of the ship.
Awesome self tour of the ship. Good history refresher to boot. Totally worth the afternoon spent.
What a fantastic time we had! It started off rough, We had such a horrible experience at the USS Arizonia that I really did not want to go here, but my Husband being a retire Navy Officer Insisted we gone. Now It was Hot and I was grumpy from the staff at the Arizonia and The Security Officer I think his name is Sam or Saul he was such a delight. He turned my entire day around, Told me to check out the Ward room and Gift Shop. When we got their the Tour was tough, I am an old lady and I felt bad for keeping everyone behind but John took his time and I was really appreciated for that. But I have to say If you ever come to Pearl Harbor you Must Check out the Uss Missouri its quite a ship. I leave Next week back to Texas so I will be stopping by again!

The USS Missouri tour is excellent! A must do activity at Pearl Harbor. An amazing piece of history.
Incredible to have this historic piece of warfare in such pristine condition. Walking around this battleship gives many emotions.
A historical monument of extraordinary significance. Another MUST see in Hawaii.
