Awesome. Just plain awesome. I haven't come across many man-made objects that really make me stop and stare. This is one of them. I was happy to give my entrance fee to the foundation as they are currently restoring several more portions of the ship. It's good to see the work that your money pays for. You can also get a good view of the Arizona memorial from the bow of the ship.

Very cool and historical place to spend the day. A shuttle bus takes you to the Missouri from the Pearl harbor visitor center. I bought the generic entry ticket and had a blast. The free guided tours take about 35 mins and provide interesting facts about the history of the Missouri. Wonderful place to take pictures, both inside and out. There are bathrooms located on the ship and food options on the pier beside the ship. I spent roughly 1.5-2 hours onboard.

Second time visiting and I learned even more than the last. They opened up more of the ship, added exhibits inside, and are currently renovating the wood deck. Looks great! Upgrade to the tour that allows you vip access and guide, it is worth the money. trust me.

The first and only time I've ever been able to experience military equipment to this scale up close and personal. What it must have been like to serve on board back in the day... it certainly is worth the stopover

I was impressed by the battleship that has a long history in Japan.
You can listen to the story linked to the end of Eternal Zero, so you can apply for a free tour guide right after you enter the battleship.

A must see if your visiting Pearl Harbor. The Mighty Mo or BB63 is really something to see. If I would of had the time I would of spent a week on this monster war machine or I should say Battle Wagon.

A truly amazing experience- especially after touring Pearl Harbor. The best part of the USS Missouri was our tour with Dawn. She was extremely nice and friendly to everyone in our group. She went out of her way to thank every veteran that she saw for their service. There also wasn t anything she didn t know about the ship- she knew everything down to the inch! She was truly passionate about the USS Missouri which correlated to an exceptional experience. Even after the tour we ran into her several times on the boat where she recognized and further helped us. Thank you, Dawn!

Must see. It was a very good experience to have the opportunity to go on it and check it all out. Such a great piece of history. You get to see and feel how soldiers lived day to day inside of it and how much sacrifices they had made to give you freedom.

Visiting was very emotional. Our tour was amazing. I'm in a wheelchair so my tour was limited, which is to be expected but I did have one funny memory of the day and that was when we got stuck in the elevator!! It was very hot of course and they got us out as soon as they could, about 20 minutes, but all and all it was a very good day!

Awesome ship with amazing history. Last battleship built, last battleship in service. Served in WWII, Korea and Gulf War I. Has the area where Japan signed their surrender overlooking the USS Arizona Memorial - the alpha and omega to the US involvement in WWII. Very emotional. Informative displays and the staff are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Mighty Mo.

We visited this unplanned after visiting the memorial, and there was no problem with tickets. You buy a ticket and take a 10 minute bus right to the active military base where the Missouri is docked. We waited a few minutes and then there was a live guide around the boat for around 35 minutes. It was interesting but all though the guide was very passionate I felt it was aimed at children and some of the things she did was a bit immature. Also you don t hear anything different to what the signs would tell you if you read them. Afterward you could go down and see the living space which is very interesting as there is still so much things on the ship. The busses leave every 15 minutes, last one is at 4:05 to take you ancl

Amazing look at the Mighty Mo! The last battleship. It's literally a floating city. Definitely worth the afternoon it takes to go through. So much history and artifacts here. We did not do the guided tour but just watching them in passing they seem great. Take your time and walk through the ship as directed by the arrows. Pay attention to the little details that truly create the city on the sea feel. Great ticket deal included with the Go Oahu card.

This was an amazing visit. The ship has tons of history that you can learn about. Along with visiting the Pearl harbor monuments, this is something that all should visit at least once in there lifetime. You will not regret it.

Really enjoyed our visit here. We arrived in time for the free tour which was very informative. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to visit the Battleship Missouri because they close a little earlier than the other memorial sites. We would have liked to have seen more of the ship but ran out of time. The shuttle bus to get here and back from the visitor centre took around 15 minutes each way.

When I went to July 2017, repair work was being done on the upper structure part, and the open-air bridge and the armored bridge above 03 level were closed. It is said that it will end in September 2017.
A Japanese guide will accompany you without prior application.
It felt strange with the big cannon of the Great East Asian War, the Tomahawk missile of the Gulf War, and the battleship with old and new weapons.
World War II officially ended with the signing ceremony for the surrender document on this battleship.
The place I wanted to see the most was the track that rushed into the starboard deck due to the special attack during the Battle of Okinawa. Because the explosives did not explode, the pilot Sergeant Setsuo Ishino was torn in half and the upper body was thrown to the deck.
The American soldiers kicked around Ishino-san's face, but under the control of Captain Callahan, he carried out the Navy funeral. The position at that time is marked as a foot shape.
Aside from the good and bad of war, it's just peace in the battle of our seniors' lives.

Fantastic spot. It really is a marvel of technology, history, sacrifice and beauty. We had a great tour guide that provided us with context and specifics around the importance of this battleship. Along with that, below deck was a fascinating look in to how the sailors and Marines lived for years.

Wow, such a great experience. You get to walk around and see a lot of parts of the ship. The short guided tour was also really good and gives you some interesting facts and history. Definitely worth the price!

PS: Park and buy tickets at the main pearl harbor visitor center. You will then ride a bus to the ship.

Please ask for a guide fee included in the entrance fee. I got a Japanese-speaking person with roots in Okinawa.

There are many gift shops that can only be purchased here, and they are substantial. Meals can also be made here.
