Very neat experience. The tour was the perfect amount of time and they have kept the ship in great condition.

Excellent! A historical must see
The WWII exhibit is fantastic!

Spend a couple of hours wandering through above and below deck imagining life as a sailor.

The ship is already impressive, also the story behind it, the first part was a guided tour, which had a lot of additional information to offer, then you could explore the ship yourself and it was worth it.

The guided tour only stays on the top deck. The surrender deck is very cool. If you just want to see inside the ship, do a self guided tour.

Slavica was a very informative guide; be sure to leave time to see the conning tower ...

So much history was made on this ship & because I'm from Missouri, and in the military, it was a huge honor to donate my time to help restore her!

Great tour guide. Mr. Ford knew his history well. And great self guided tour too. Lots of things to see.

Great to have access to a battleship. The way they have set up access to the the main sites on the official website was confusing, but our tour did most of the work for us, which in hindsight, wasn't that difficult. The guides on the ship were informative and have you a greater understanding of the history of the ship. Exploring the Battleship afterwards is easy with the green arrows to mark the route you can travel to see the whole ship.

This is an amazing tour, lots of hands on and close up interaction with the ship itself, highly knowledgeable guides, lots of information.

I highly recommend a stop at this part of the Pacific Theater War Memorial. We didn't leave enough time to catch all of the experience available here.

Great piece of living history. Wether you take one of the offered tours or follow along at your own pace there's plenty of information to immerse yourself in the history and lives of what these men and women did.

never actually been to the USS Missouri, but I have heard great things from who have been to it.

This was fun a lot of information! When you arrive they push you to get their passport which is an all inclusive but honestly you can really only do two activities

Amazing historic site. Ticket purchase required for admission unless you are uniformed military. Military ID does not get you anything.

Easy to follow a self tour of the ship. Great show of history with descriptions.

A great add-on to visiting the memorial for the USS Arizona, which was sunk when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. The Missouri was built (or completed) after that, but touring this is a great way to learn about battleships, and their role in WW II. We had a great tour guide, and then roamed the ship at will for more than 30 minutes. Go to Pearl Harbor, visit the Arizona to honor those who died there, visit the Missouri to see one of the great ships of that era - then go home and pray, and fight, for peace on earth. Good, young men and women should not have to die this way.

Super Impressive memorial with detailed information and an amazing guide !

The ship and the volunteers are amazing. We Americans take for granted what and how our servicemen live. I wouldn't last 48hrs on a naval ship. Tip, buy your tickets online and go direct to shuttle (which is inside the fence).It's a very interesting tour of the Battleship Missouri also knows as Mighty Mo. Whether you're a history buff or not, it's a beautiful reminder that peace can still be achieved.

Great docents let us through an introduction to the historical significance of the ship. Then we were free to roam the labyrinth below deck. If you get overheated above deck there are spaces to sit down in the crews mess and cool off. Give yourself an hour and a half. You will be talking a bus ride from the visitors center.

Has to be seen to fully comprehend the size of it.

A must see when visiting Hawaii. Interior has air conditioning. Bring a water bottle as it can be hot outside.

Interesting ship and having the history explained
.. you get to walk all over the ship to get a feel for how the military lived while on ship.

A must visit site on Oahu. You can easily spend hours here. Go for the free guided tour

A ship that made so much honey, up close and personal

Take the tour don't bother with the audio device. Give yourself plenty of tone and ask questions. Very interesting thank you to all former and current service members.

The 6th graders from Nimitz Elementary (last year) got the chance to spend the night here! It was soooo fun! The food was alright... Not the best... The showers were questionable... And on the wall beside my bunk I think there was blood... But still very fun!

Every real American need to visit, when on the islands.

Take the tour then walk around in your own. Don't forget the upper deck!! The commemorative photo is fun!

When you tour the ship, you can put yourself in the class of time and in the role when you visit the team's or the weapon system officer's berths.

The staff was very polite and the tour was very informative. It provided the history of the ship from beginning to end and of course the documented history of the end of World War II

The American battleship where Japan's capitulation in Tokyo Bay was signed.
Very well known pictures, but you are on the bridge that has seen the story.
A little expensive anyway, but we do not go to Hawaii every day, regret, however, we do not visit the engine rooms or we must take an extra $ 25, we are at Uncle Scrooge.
It takes a day to visit Pearl Harbor with the Aviation Museum.

Very cool to walk around this battleship! The site includes a tasty food truck and ice cream stall, as well as a standard gift shop. Staff was friendly and informative!

There are so many battleships to look around. Although I didn't look closely at the schedule, the fact that Japan surrendered and participated in various wars, such as the Korean War and the Gulf War, came to be meaningful. There is also a free Korean guide, and I was very happy to be able to take a slow tour and this is a place I highly recommend in Hawaii.

Incredible history happened here. Should be on the bucket list of everyone even remotely interested in military warfare, or just history in general.

The battleship Iowa was set sail for the west of America after the battle of Midway. All the sudden the German battleship Bismarck open up on the retreating vesale. All 9 of the shells hit the Iowa and one hit the batter control tower. We going to die said the captain as he jumped out the window and hit the deck with a splat. The Iowa was Turning their big guns so they can fire at the Bismarck but a kamikaze luge it self into the deck of the ship. We are hit yell the fist officer as he ran across the deck. The Iowa fire their guns and hit the officer that was running on the deck and sent him flying in to the deck of the Bismarck. It was hopeless for the Iowa.

Really cool to see this massive battleship, above and below deck. Do the quick guided tour for about 30 minutes, then tour the rest of the ship yourself. Expect to spend at least 2 hours there, or more of you want to actually read and watch all the interesting historical displays.

Fantastic boat. So much history. Everything was well laid out and there was super friendly staff and voulenteers everywhere.

It's a very cool feeling to stand where they ended the bloodiest conflict in world history.

Great attraction & great volunteer guide. General admin of site is shambolic & we missed " Bowfish " which we had paid for. Our coach (on which people were standing, despite General confusion) ran by it to our astonishment.

Interesting place to learn about the World's history

Our tour guide was real knowledgeable about the history of the ship. Really liked it!

For me, this was an unexpected "like". Usually I struggle a bit with visiting sites that have to do with history...struggle with boredom to be perfectly honest. My only regret was that we didn't have more time at the Missouri battleship. We were given a short tour by one of the people that works there and that's what made me like it so much. The people who work there love their job and know how to relate what happened on this battleship in easy to understand way. I want to go again. Next time I plan on booking in advance a specialty tour that will take longer and will go into more detail the history of this great ship.

It was an awesome experience especially to pay respect at the Arizona Memorial was very moving.

Very emotional visit. Must see tour. A side note, they just filmed a scene from Godzilla vs king Kong from the ship.
