Seeing as I am one of the lead MEP designers for this huge project I love it!
Seeing as I am one of the lead MEP designers for this huge project I love it!
The light festival looked great even in the day. Although there is plenty of building works going on you can still walk around and see what s happening.
Well over priced cheaply made greenhouse apartments, yet another historical part of london lost to world of consumerism
It's gonna be a great venue but wealth doesn't bring manners or respect for your environment... Some dirty bastards live here...
Wow it looks different from the gymkhana dirt games
Known worldwide because it was featured on a Pink Floyd's album cover. A must see, before it gets converted into luxury apartments
A must see if you love Pink Floyd, otherwise forget it!
Battersea Power Station started production in 1933 and went on producing until, in 1975, Station A was shut down and later, in 1983, Station B was terminated. After prolonged debates as to whether or not to pull down the Battersea Towers that notion foundered, due in no small part to the site s Grade II listed status.
Eventually an acceptable restoration plan was agreed that commenced in 2013 and continues on, with the redevelopment as a whole not scheduled to complete until circa 2025.
A great day out for anyone. We love to walk here, have a nice coffee or beer and enjoy the peer. Always something going on.
Amazing new development. Loved walking down the Thames too!
Indisputably an emblematic Twentieth Century London landmark; the towers firmly embedded in the public s consciousness.
A painstaking and exacting pastiche recreation, restoration and repurposing as the hub in a massive multi-purpose development in a new enclave.
21st.Century London reimagined as a secure and controlled zone.
Currently very much a work in progress with limited options but definitely worth a peek if only to say, I been there.
I think what's going on here is really cool, it's a great place to chill out, the only reason I'd say 4 stars is because it's not finished yet! If you're a bit of a loser there is a really cool exhibit about the history of the powerstation itself, how it came to be and how it's being renovated now. I can't wait to see it when it's done!
Dont listen to TIMEOUT magazine as you can definetley NOT go for a tour. The site is completely closed to the public.

Historical building being renovated. Place has nice terrace by the thames. You can buy food and drinks at the farmers food market.
Want to come back when it s all finished to check it out
It is currently in the process of restoration and reconstruction, I believe it will be a great place to visit.
A very common London landmark completely modernized. Went a couple of weeks ago for the seafood festival and wasn't disappointed.
Beautiful building, it's just so sad what happen with this place. All for money.
Dangerous and unsafety place. Construction project with terrible management on the site. Thanks
Hello Good afternoon my name is Gustavo and I am from Argentina. I would love to know something about the history of this great building and its relationship with Pink Floyd. And if I had a function related to World War II
It's amazing to see the sheer size of it from close to, and all in brick. Especially fascinating with construction going on in and around the building.
I don't want to be the Meldrew!!! Of this great place ,, but come by bus ,I know parking in London is not cheep but 10 pounds for 2 hours is a bit steep it is a nice Carl park though...
Masive construction place , flats, mall , offices and new underground station
You know that I care
What happens to you
And I know that you care
For me too
So I don't feel alone
Or the weight of the stone
Now that I've found somewhere safe
To bury my bone
And any fool knows a dog needs a home
A shelter from pigs on the wing
Beautfull and chilled place to be I wish I called live there
Amazing place to visit was just checking a mate unbelievable what he showed me in there
The iconic brick building on the banks of the Thames was built in 1933 as a thermoelectric power station, 15 years ahead of the equally characteristic one that now houses the Tate Modern Gallery.
Dismesso in 1983 after 50 years of activity was immortalized over time in various album covers of famous groups (Pink Floyd, Who ...) and equally well known film scenes, to highlight its strong personality.
Several times subject to attempts at urban redevelopment that failed, it is now facing an important restoration and modernization project by Malaysia and it seems that Apple itself has expressed interest in investing in the area.
A walk in nearby Battersea Park is also recommended.
A great place for photographers, one of the many hotspots by the Thames
One of the most interesting places in London. There is not exactly anything special to see from far across the Thames, but the atmosphere created by Pink Floyd turned the stage into another stage, on another level, from another perspective of life. As soon as I got into town, I just wanted to go there. At the time, I half-disappointed with the paraphernalia around the factory, but ... this is it!
Busy with work still. But it's starting to take shape with some bars restaurants and shops. Not the finished article yet, but risks being a haven for the affluent end of society. Let's hope it will eventually offer an affordable solution to complement the already expensive leisure facilities.
Battersea Power Station Development Company has created hellish conditions for residents of Chelsea Bridge Wharf. However they have (after 2 years) started to work positively with residents and deserve credit for that. I hope it continues.
Its great living near an iconic album cover, by my favourite band i guess
Light festival on atm, pretty good but not amazing. Can t wait to see this areas when it s finished with no building works. But like walking around a building site (but a nice one).
Beautiful structure, looking forward to the refirbished power station with bars/sbops and the quarter around the powerstation
Huge place, over a million bricks here. It will be amazing when its all finished. Very historic place. Soon I understand Google will own an entire floor as its office space there. Apartments are being snapped up opposite the Power Station by investors, celebrities and owner occupiers. There is no Underground built yet, but there are 3 shuttle buses run by Gogutsi, yellow and black minibuses that takes residents to Victoria, Sloans Square and Vauxhall FREE of charge.
Seriously up and coming. Check out the new area if you can
If you're well off ok but ordinary people it's too expensive to visit.
Amazing transformation taking place of one of the most exciting refurbishments of a listed building in the country. Using a highly skilled workforce to turn around this massive project. Hope to make another visit in the future to see the finished result of all the hard labour, expertise and of course money ploughed into this project.
Watching the new exciting development growing day by day to this wonderful structure
Nice place good food ,reasonably priced and friendly
I was underneath here. Good access and lighting at 30m below ground. No toilets or canteen though.
This is a wonderful area. Lots of art and several options for food. Also has a great view.
Everything lived in the awakening of rock from our childhood and adolescence concentrated in an image that remains standing.
Yes. It is the cover of a mythical Progressive Rock album. Animals by Pink Floyd.
Although it is a challenge to explore the surroundings in search of the perfect image. It can be achieved. You just have to walk to the bottom. Almost to the river entering the huge development that is underway. Enter as carefully, as someone who trespasses something without permission. But nobody said anything and at the end of the road I found shops and bars. The view intact although the development cranes were added.
The real estate development that is running is huge. It makes one want to participate immediately.
In my case. At least he went with a coffee and a sweet for a few minutes to enjoy the view.
One of the iconic sights of London, was lucky enough to see the inside during building works
I've been working on this development for more than 3 years, so I know it pretty well.
It is still a construction site.
Visited the Art installation at West Village by the Battersea power station. Photographers dream. Hope you all enjoy my pictures.
One of the best known buildings in London, the restoration and refurbishment goes on. I'm glad I walked past to see those four iconic chimneys and lime wash towers because the area has a market at the weekend and a pretty cool place to hang out after a long walk around Battersea Park. Lots of market stalls for arts and crafts, food, but most importantly for the views of the power station
Battersea is going to become one of the best areas to live in London. The power station is an iconic building and will become a luxury building to live in. The remodeling will be great, it has gone from being an abandoned building to being a chic and design space.
Unfortunately, the initial beauty of the world-famous power plant is overshadowed by modern constructions that start to suffocate it.
I love London, there's always something going on and there's never a dull moment. Head down to Battersea Power Station this bank holiday holiday weekend to check out these cool, retro games in real life! Such an ingenious idea and so fun.
They're only here this week, but check out @actualrealityarcade for future events. I think I made quite a good ghost for the Pac Maze chasing down Pac Man lol.
This area is still being developed, but it's always a great space with plenty of food options and events. Wheelchair friendly too
Battersea Power Station Development Company: Revitalizing an Iconic Landmark
Battersea Power Station Development Company is a leading property development company that is dedicated to revitalizing one of the most iconic landmarks in London. The Grade II* listed building and surrounding area are being transformed into one of the most exciting and innovative mixed-use neighborhoods in the world.
The Battersea Power Station was built in 1933 and was once a symbol of London's industrial might. However, it fell into disrepair over the years, and by the turn of the century, it had become a derelict eyesore. In 2012, Battersea Power Station Development Company acquired the site with a vision to transform it into a vibrant new community that would celebrate its rich history while embracing modern living.
Today, Battersea Power Station is undergoing an ambitious redevelopment project that will see it transformed into a thriving new neighborhood with homes, offices, shops, restaurants, parks and cultural spaces. The development will create over 20,000 jobs during construction alone and generate £20bn for London's economy over its lifetime.
The redevelopment project has been designed with sustainability at its core. The power station's iconic chimneys have been restored using traditional methods to ensure they remain an integral part of London's skyline for generations to come. The development also includes green roofs and walls to promote biodiversity while reducing carbon emissions.
One of the key features of Battersea Power Station Development Company's vision is its commitment to creating a sense of community within this new neighborhood. This includes providing affordable housing options alongside luxury apartments so that people from all walks of life can call this place home.
In addition to residential properties, there will be office spaces available for businesses looking for prime real estate in central London. With excellent transport links via rail or riverboat services nearby as well as easy access by car or bike paths throughout this area make commuting simple!
The retail offering at Battersea Power Station will be second-to-none with high-end boutiques sitting alongside independent retailers offering unique products you won't find anywhere else! There are also plans for restaurants serving up delicious cuisine from around the world as well as cafes where you can grab your morning coffee or afternoon tea!
For those who love culture there are plenty opportunities here too! From art galleries showcasing local talent through exhibitions featuring international artists; live music performances ranging from classical concerts through jazz nights; theatre productions including West End shows performed on-site - there really something everyone here!
Overall if you're looking for somewhere special where history meets modernity then look no further than Battersea Power Station Development Company!
