Baton Rouge is one of my favorite restaurants. Me and my boyfriend are regulars there , service is amazing ..The staff is super friendly. The food is delicious as always! The prices are definitely worth it. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. I love it , and I HIGHLY recommended it.
To read the opinions, I see that the dissatisfaction is numerous, what are you waiting for to change anything? Since the renovation this warm side that was before disappeared, just like the service, it is marketed in the carpet. Here is our last experience.
On November 24 we booked for a birthday, I called 1 month before to book, you should see where we were placed ... near the heating hatch stuck like sardines, it went wrong, all those who were sitting nearby were literally bursting with heat, even had to open the door to let in some air, wait for more. A service of merd ... sincerely, dear Madelaine, name of the waitress, change of domain ... she had one of her stresses, told us that she had two groups to serve, we were 11 and the other big group was 8! OMG it is true that it makes the world to mass, advice postulates not in a reception room! We had no water, no bread no good service. There were two kids with us and the menu of these did not include the choice of steak, I asked for one; no offer of the kind; no problem, we will take a steak we divide it into 2 and we will give it to the children, no it came with a plate with a steak, fries and vegetables, although I had to ask that with fries (to hell with wasteful) with another empty plate and I had to cut the steak and make the second dish for the child, anything, I was at home in my kitchen finally!
The music, we were like in a bar, much too strong! Then the food, honestly, is not worth the cost that is charged. You have just lost a group, I work in a service company, we agree that my comment about you will not be very welcoming, then do not suggest me to write to your email address, I will not, There are plenty of other restaurants that are nicer to go to. The administration may have changed during the renovations, too bad, because it was really not a good move! Good luck to those who intend to go!
Too expensive. We took salmon, at $ 28, I think it's too expensive. There was only one vegetable as accompaniment. It's a dish that's limited. They should offer more accompaniments. Most restaurants offer 2 choices of accompaniments.
Great space, warm atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Long waits on weekends but quality and care are through the roof. Quality drinks and food.
The service was extremely long and the service was uneven
Had the 16oz rib steak with fries and a coke. Nice they have the coke in real glass bottles as an option, tastes so much better.
Everything was really good, I love the thin style fries, staff all looked spiffy and our watress was rather good at her job!
My only "ick" was the bathroom could have been cleaner under a few urinals and $40 is kinda pricey for a steak.
Oh yeah, music was waaaay too loud and too many (dare i say) crappy mega beat latin tunes playing.
Was very much pleased to finally eat somewhere without loud kids yelling or jumping in their seats behind me or close by. I wish some resto would add some section where you can't bring your kids to enjoy more nights like this.
Good ventillation as I don't like smelling food from the kitchen. Ah yes... The seats in the booth get really hot after a while and when you get up, it feels gross because your pants are all damp. Is this to get us out faster?
Anyway, the place looks nice n modern and the wooden tables look classy. 4/5 is a bit weak as the aspects I value most were met. I had to grade according to the star system...
Gonna surely go back and try the burger.
nice comfortable space, new ambiance more urban,food is ok ,try the parmentier cream really good,menu a bit pricey but good portions.
Very disappointed with the food. Order a medium steak and received a well done. Spoke to our waiter and he immediately replaced it for me. Kudos to him. In general the service is just OK. I didnt see anything woah. Would have expected a bit more from BR.
Hello, I find it deplorable that when someone arrives with an elderly person with a cane and who is having trouble walking that we sit as far as possible because there was room closer to the entrance. Thank you September 23, 2018 6:59 pm.

Go to Keg next door!!!!! Bad service, frozen vegetables, no client statisfaction skills. First bad review i ever write. Ate with husband, asked for medium filet mignon, came rare returned from kitchen 15 minutes later well done when my husband finished his meal. No manager came but kitchen boss to say he will not charge the meal I returned and did NOT eat a piece. Never will go back. No wonder it was empty a saturday night!!
Had a dinner on a Thursday night in October 2015. Food was excellent as found before at other BR branches.. Waitress was very nice but she was so loaded that affected her ability to provide usual service. However, I strongly recommend.
Very good service. The food and atmosphere are fantastic.
Ok food. Clean place. Average service. We went for a dinner. We had to call the waitress twice, she had forgotten us. She at least apologized ... Confessed fault is half forgiven.

All in all my dish was delicious but I would just say that when ordering a well cooked steak there should be no more pink in the meat

Terrible service forgetting our order waited 1 hour 30 minutes before receiving it our friends arrived later than us and we had time to finish eating before we received our order very disappointed because the restaurant was not full
Couldn't get our orders straight. Meals were served before entrees. Our compensation was a drink on the house. Never again.
My first time in this place , I place my order they get everything wrong, I call in to tell them and the girl that answered the phone tells me that s what you ordered and that s it ,will never go back
I went in on Saturday to watch the Hockey game and enjoy a good meal. I managed to find seats at the bar. When it came time to take my order I chose the calamari as an appetizer, immediately I was told they were out. So I decided to just go for a prime rib steak, and I was surprised to get the same response that they are out. I wasn't given any recommendations as to what is available that I might like. Eventually I went for the shrimp appetizer and the baton rouge burger.
The appetizer was awful, the sauce was only on 2 pieces and the rest of them were bland. Needless to say having too much sauce on 2 pieces didn't taste great.
An hour and 30 minutes later we finally received the burgers, with fires. My burger was dry and cold, absolutely no taste. And the fries were burnt and most of them were just crumbs.
I am disappointed as this place was one of my favorite restaurants, and I don't like to complain but I expected better service and maybe a little more care. I thought at least the food will be worth it, but it really wasn't. I guess next time I will just stick to The Keg that is next door.
Good food the famous Ribs are a must, beautiful new restaurant well located but the service is to improve (long, forgotten) but friendly staff.

Baton Rouge in Carrefour Laval is good for
nothing. First glass of water they brought, glass was broken both side on two different places. There is no way nobody realize it. Second we waited one hour and still didn't get the food we ordered. Worst restaurant in South America. When we said we are leaving they didn't even apologized and I was very frustrated. I took there my wife for her birthday and we ended up eating at our home because it was already 10.30 PM. Now that I found out I wasn't the only one had the same problem. Never again for me......
I don't put 4 stars because it's a great restaurant, but there are always people at the entrance

Was served at the bar yesterday. Excellent onion soup, ribs with mash and the oozing chocolat cake. Friend had fried calmars and the lobster poutine and same cake too.

New place looks great . Here comes the but , DO NOT COME HERE DISASTER SERVICE. It s been over 1h30 hour we ordered our food , no sigh from the waitress, the manager is hiding because every single table around us has been waiting for as long. The brain dead waitress , is telling everyone that it s because of the holidays ( they come every year stupid, you couldn t staffed accordingly). If the manager had enough courage to walk around and apologize, maybe this would pass. And the food got worst . Complete failure . The old Baton Rouge was better .
In group it is very expeditious, no time to finish your salad as the main course arrives. Prices, very expensive and no dessert included.
The food is always excellent! By cons 3 times at this branch and price error. First time a dessert loaded too much, second time the plate $ 5 more than on their menu and third time a glass of wine loaded at $ 22. I understand that there is glass at all prices but when you say a glass of white wine may be asked the customer so before giving the most expensive.
Quick service and the food is very good. The choice in the menu is however limited in my opinion.

This is the first time I have been there since the big renovations. I enjoyed my experience! We went for dinner and the sandwich we had for two was excellent! The employees are polite and attentive!
Side up are really their specialty. Friendly staff and very clean. Newly renovated (I miss the old configuration but it's a matter of personal taste). It's more classy now and the price is accordingly too.
This store is closed for renovation they didn t bother them selves to update that on google that s not a professional company at all

Chicken tasted like old oil, the beans weren't super hard cooked. And the bread reheat in the microwave. Really disappointed.

Very bad experience in mid-December. I sent a formal complaint by email. Almost a month later, I received no response, even an acknowledgment of receipt.
There were several errors in our orders (bad accompaniments in most dishes, breaded rather than grilled chicken, missing seasonings in some dishes, etc.). In addition, a gluten intolerant guest had to wait for her starter and main course to be redone because her restrictions were not respected.
At the time of payment, each of the invoices included several errors. It took more than 30 minutes for the situation to be corrected. In addition, the invoices were corrected by hand. As a result, the bills were full of illegible doodles and many people don't know what they paid for in the end.
The waiter was patronizing and disinterested in fixing the problems that arose during his service. A more open attitude and an apology would have reduced the level of frustration.
