Good service a bit expensive but otherwise it's ok.

The old place was better for the Ambiance. We used to enjoy the good food quality which is now not what it used to be. Service is also not what it was. We are a bit disappointed. What happened????

Really expensive but nice place to order good quality steak but as I just said the prices are unfriendly

The waitress was perfect she came regularly, the food was good my AAA steak cooked perfectly. A bit noisy because of the world if not good atmosphere.

I liked the staff very welcome the food very good I put 4 stars because there are just two points that I advise them to review the waiting time is very long and the little children do not see much choice

By far the worst baton rouge unprofessional service and food is 0!!!
The chicken was very very dry and the waitress responded "oh ya I know that is why I never order it here" .

I find it a little expensive for the same thing elsewhere. Slow service. For the rest it's ok.

What a shame to denigrate more than 13,000 real estate brokers by agreeing to put an advertisement of duproprio in their bill holder. You have just made 13,000 brokers and their families angry at all of your restaurants, well done. Being insulted when paying the bill is against the laws of commerce

Was ok you can tell they wanted to turn over the table as soon as possible.

Excellent atmosphere, excellent service and excellent food, but expensive.

I always come purchasing some food here. I loved the prompt customer service and well cooked dishes. Great work.

I booked for 12 people at 6:30 pm directly at the restaurant and I was sent a confirmation for 8 people via email. Arrived at the scene, our reservation was given to another group that had not booked. A seated shot, we are told that we will have to leave for 20:00, because there are other groups while nobody informed me. A chance that the ribs were good. All along the meal, we were told that our time was running out!

As much on the spot bar section for the atmosphere and service as the service and organization of the order to take out. Did 3x that I order via internet for take out and everything is good !!

Great meal, good value. I had the ribs and steak combo. Definitely order this. It's a ton of food and the steak and ribs were both cooked perfectly.

The rest of my group ordered the steak meal on special and weren't very impressed, but they also ordered it medium & then complained it was overcooked, so I take it with a grain of salt.

I really enjoyed the ambiance here. The wait staff were friendly. They repeatedly brought us someone else's drink orders, but hey! Free drinks.

Good but a little fatty ... The tastes are there as well as the flavors. The servers meet our expectations. The potato soup is very delicious.

THEY CHANGED THE OWNER

Decided to go to Baton Rouge last night with my mother after not seeing her for months, and I was kind of disappointed. She had the General Tao Salad and I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and the Cream of Potato Soup. It tasted nothing like I remembered. The soup was simply not delicious (which it normally is), almost like they messed it up and tried to fix it. I had to pick out bay leaves from my mouth every 2 seconds, and the bacon bits were not from freshly-cooked bacon (very very sad :'( ).
The only thing that ended up okay was the General Tao Salad. The Chipotle Sandwich was alright, but it was supposed to come on a regular ciabatta bread; as advertised in the menu, but was actually served on a rosemary ciabatta bread, which wouldn't have been a problem if it didn't literally taste like rotten bread (even the manager agreed). They were nice enough to bring me a new sandwich when I confusingly asked them about it, but still, it wasn't on the bread I wanted that was advertised in the menu when I made my selection :( At least the service was good and the manager was helpful and quick to fix the situation. Regardless, the food wasn't really at regular-Baton-Rouge-standard for me.
And what really motivated me to write this review was the fact that I paid 1$ extra for the chipotle sauce to go with my fries, and they couldn't even be bothered to add it in my doggy bag :( (which just made me sad)

I honestly hope my review will help the new owners see these little things that could be easily fixed that would go a long way for their clients.

Went to treat my friends after moving...
Was dying for steak. I wanted to go to the keg. So we decided to go to the baton rouge.
I never ever. Wasted my time and money at that place. The steak was rotten! As in souurr!!!!
And btw i wsnt the only one who complaint
Other did ppl also. And on top of that after tasting the steak. I have been sick and one of my friend!! On a friday night! Manger was rude and so unprofessional.
Anyway never again and i would never recommend that place to anyone .

Garbage , just another cage au sport, ribs aren't what it used to be, beans are water down, they ruined it. Not spending money there anymore that's for sure

Bad evening, a glass of wine $ 24.00 not a bottle but a drink. The filet mignon of my wife was not one, it was beef but not a filet mignon hard as rock. The manager wanted to change it she refused we never return a plate in a restaurant, it is gone and point to the line. The waitress brings us the bill and we tell her that we will still be very very long without coming back, she laughs and yes you will come back. Very long service and it was 5:30, finished Red Stick.

It's always the same and excellent on every visit. For me when I think of Ribs this is the place to be. Only thing that disappoints me on the menu, there is no more lime pie which was so delicious.

Good restaurant to eat Steak.

Spinach dip entray is delicious and the ribs are out of this world. They also have pretty good burgers and salads. Baked potato was mediocre, but their fries make up for it being really good, especially with their chipoltle sauce, if you like something a little spicy

The flavor and texture of this General T'so Chicken Salad does not stray far from its roots. The sauce on the chicken is sweet, garlicky, mildly spicy hot and has a heady aroma . The salad has a sesame salad dressing that adds a nice counterpoint to the General T'so sauce. I thought the salad bowl a a whole was very tasty.
I found the service to be slow, most likely because the restaurant was very busy.

Since the renovation I've eaten there twice it has not been the same..ribs are not off the bone & dry hardly any sauce.. it will be a while for me to go back.. not worth the money (carrefour laval store)

I'm visiting from the US with my family. I wanted to eat in at Baton Rouge but they do not accept US dollars or Credit Card. Very unfortunate!!!

Food and excellent service. Location a little noisy but I went on a Saturday night.

Very Below average. First the hostess was so ignoring us and cold. no eye contact nor a smile Waiter is just doing his job and never asking what do we need, we had to ask another waitress twice to get him to serve us.
Bathrooms are below average, and napkings and soap are very cheap quality.

Perfect atmosphere for a business meeting or other! Excellent food!

But I would take a closer look at what's going on in the kitchens. .. ordinary meal.

They don't give us the seats we have reserved, no air conditioning.

The place is very beautiful and well maintained. The food is excellent. I recommend the blue cheese iceberg salad with steak cooked as requested. On the other hand, it's rather noisy as a place. The music is rather strong.

Nice place, great food, beware the wallet may empty quite quickly because the food is very good, but the price goes with it!

Love the food, love the environment.. my personal favorite!

Definitely the best of all Baton Rouge in the grand Montreal area in terms of food and service.

For my daughter and I this is one of our top 5 restaurants, no matter the city. Each restaurant is similar but especially each restaurant has the same excellent service and a total consistency on the quality of meals.

The quality of food is decreasing more and more in favor of profit. It's been 30 years that I know the Baton Rouge ... and quality goes to the lamentable. The service and decor are always on top.

I strongly don t recommend this restaurant EVER !!!!!...don t waste your time ... if you re two You will never get a table we waited over. 90 min to get a table ... when we walk in we were told 15 min.

Im in restaurant all the time .... the service was so Bad I cant describe what happen.

We finally got our Ribs 68 min after we ordered and they were burnt ...no way to get there attention ... when we did they said sorry ...

It will take another 30 min to get the burnt ribs replace.

I got up gave the waiter. $ 18.00 for the salade and walk out ....

I don t think we were alone being really disappointing.

Plates looked dirty ... we felt rushed by our waitress and she did not even ask the kids if they wanted their desert ... Food was ok!

Not as good as it used to be. Service was good but the ribs either got a quality drop or I don't know but they were never dried before and the ones I got were dried as in overcooked. I might give them another chance someday but I'm in no rush at to go back..
