Charlotte Kennels is absolutely the best! I have boarded our dogs there for the past 14 years. Our dogs loved being there and I always feel confident that they are in good hands when I drop them off. The facility is very clean, the staff courteous and helpful, and the grooming staff is first-rate. I would highly recommend their day care program as well.

As a wildlife professional, I have a particularly harsh view of many boarding and animal care facilities. Charlotte Kennels isnt perfect, but they are quite good, and the place is run with care and love. The folks working the desk and working with the dogs in the runs are clearly animal lovers. The place is reasonable priced, clean, and the animals are well cared for.

We have been bringing our pups to Charlotte Kennels for many years! They were so very kind and sympathetic to us when we lost our beloved Chip to CHF. When we welcomed a new pup Bailey to our family two years ago, of course the only place we would bring her is to Charlotte Kennels! Today was our newest addition Jamie s first time! Audrey is THE ONLY person I would let groom our cavaliers! She is the best at what she does and makes sure the pups have a great time!

I heard of Charlotte Kennels by word of mouth, and I can t believe how wonderful they are and treated every animal there. They are great! I know we will be back soon and I highly recommend them!

We have boarded our little buddy "Ace" at CK probably 4-5 times at least. No complaints with this facility. We had to leave him at another location 1 other time due to short notice, and CK was booked up. Wasn't a good experience, so we returned to CK this past week. Good attendants, all have a great attitude, and we feel safe to leave our loved one with them.

This was my first time here and wow this is a great place. I was nervous to leave my baby as I had a dog die a few months ago at a difference facility unexpectedly. I did doggie daycare today to see how my baby would do and he loved it! All the employees are so kind and caring. So glad I found Charlotte Kennels.

I love my dog's. They are my babies. I never left town much because I would only let them stay with family. When that was no longer an option, I asked friends and fellow rescuers for help. They all said the same thing. Now my dog's not only board at Charlotte Kennels, they go to doggie daycare and get groomed there too! They get excited when we pull in the drive. Peace of mind is everything!

Charlotte Kennels is the only place I trust to watch my babies while I'm on vacation. The staff is so personal and sweet. They love my animals like their own. My dogs love the play yard to run around and play ball. When you walk in, you would never know there are animals there. It smells so clean and fresh. It's the nicest kennel I've ever been to. We would recommend Charlotte Kennels highly to anyone. We can tell how much all the staff genuinely love animals. The staff is very friendly. The facility is kept very clean. We love that they have outdoor wooded areas for the dogs to roam and play. We like that our two dogs can share a giant run and be together. We also appreciate and enjoy seeing pictures and videos online of our dogs enjoying themselves. The best review of all is how excited our dogs are to go to Charlotte Kennels.

This kennel is hands-down the best there is! We recently had to evacuate the coast of SC for Hurricane Matthew and headed back toward Charlotte, where we lived before retiring to SC. Because we couldn't find a pet-friendly hotel available, we decided to board our 17 month old Bichon, Bailey, at Charlotte Kennels as we'd used them before when we lived there. It was like "going home again". They we so good to Bailey and she loved being there. They treated her (and us) like family. Too bad they don't board people too!!!

I will not take my pets anywhere else!! The staff here are so trustworthy and kind hearted. They truly care for the animals and the customers. My Siberian Husky goes to their Doggie Day Care Monday-Friday, and they wear him out!! He comes home so tired and ready for bed, he's able to get his energy out and really be social with other dogs. Their facility is very clean. Also, their grooming staff is magnificent! If you need a groomer, ask for Audrey!

Very nice accomodations for your pet. Cooper, my dog loves visiting with all the other dogs. He also goes out alone for about 45 minutes. He is also groomed at the same place.

Best staff and facility around. Wouldn't trust taking my fur-babies to any other place! Very well run and reasonable priced!

We take our rescue dog, Sunny, there about once a week for doggie daycare. She always has a good time, is well taken care of and comes back thoroughly exhausted - which is tough to do with a Lab!

Only place we would leave our senior special needs fur baby. Staff is awesome, kennel is clean, workers are caring and works with you on routine/needs of your pet.

You have to go there and see what a difference there is in kennels! I would never leave my babies anywhere else, they go over and above for the animals and genuinely care. Daycare is awesome, my dogs look forward to it every week, and cannot wait to get there! If you have always been afraid to leave your dog, fear no more, once you try them you will be thrilled! I have been using them for 9 years with only high praises for them all!

The staff here truly love animals and treat yours as one of their own. I have an extremely spoiled Havanese they have cared for. During her last stay the owner drove my puppy to a vet appointment for a follow up visit just to make sure she got the care she needed even though it could have been postponed a day. Places that care this much make leaving your pet a lot easier.

I am a single dog owner to my 1 1/2 year old Yellow Lab Zuke! I had searched, researched and ask many about day camps and boarding for Zuke. He really gets his exercise and socialization and he came home happy, tired and clean. It s nice to get his nails clipped because I can t do it. Every person I have met so far is very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this kennel.

Wonderful Kennel and great bunch of people. I have been using this kennel for at least 15 years now and have never had any problems. The dogs enjoy going there and cannot wait to get out of the Jeep every time we arrive. The office as well as the kennel are well kept and alway clean and inviting. On occasion I get them groomed or at the least bathed there and they come home feeling good, looking good and smelling good. Thank you Nicole, Audrey and the team for the continued fine job day in and day out that you do!

Everyone here is so great and helpful. My dog is a 140lb Mastiff/German Shepherd and very cage aggressive but they do wonders with him. They are very accommodating and reasonably priced. Its so nice to have a place where I don't have to stress while he is there. I know he is in good hands. Thank you guys for everything. Best boarding in NC!

We have been taking our dog to Charlotte Kennels for doggie daycare for years and she loves it! We've had nothing but good experiences. She has had several sleep-overs and those of been good experiences as well. And they do a great job grooming her and clipping her nails. The staff is super friendly and have always accommodated our needs, even in special situations. We have had her in daycare at two other kennels (Continental was the worst!) so we are sure you can't find a better one than Charlotte Kennels!

Our dogs, Archie and Eddie, love coming to Charlotte Kennels when we are on vacation. We know they are well taken care of, loved by everyone, and are happy puppies when we pick them up. Both are senior dogs who need just a little bit more between meds and dependence on each other. Just like everyone else, our dogs are our family, and we couldn t be happier with their care at CK.

I've boarded my pups with Charlotte Kennel for almost 2 year. When I did a tour of the facilities, it was immaculate!! I like the fact that it's located with woods in the back so the pups have a good outdoor area to run around. Everyone who works at CK has always been extremely nice and you can tell they love animals. This is a great local, small business to support and small businesses need our support more than ever!

Great experience with Charlotte Kennels!
Started using the Doggy Day Care as an alternative to leaving our "family member" home alone during work hours. And what a joy! He socializes and gets "his" time to play.
The staff is on point with their care of our baby, and provides a safe and secure environment. Lots of services are available and my own piece of mind that he is well taken care of.

SUCH an awesome place. I feel comfortable leaving my dog Annabelle there on vacations or even just for a play day! Highly recommended.

We boarded our two cats for a week. They have never been left for an entire week before and I was so nervous. One of our cats does not do change well and sometimes will not eat when he is scared. I was concerned he would not eat and lose a lot of weight, being apart from us for so long. We called a few times and both cats were doing well and enjoying the cat playroom. Our boys did well during their stay and we will return and use Charlotte Kennels again. Thank you for taking great care of our boys.

Nicole is AMAZING! We were lucky enough to adopt a sweet kitten from her. It has been a great experience thus far. When I go out of town I bring Pete the cat here, he s always happy, they follow his routine at home. I have Zero complaints!

No anymore!!! He comes home from Charlotte Kennels a happy boy. Head up and tail wagging. He LOVES it there and will also be going to doggie daycare at least once every week or two. I have been to other kennels in my area and this one is by far the best. The staff really takes the time to get to know their customers. Any time in go, they remember me by name. Their pricing is very reasonable. Everything is very clean and updated.

Charlotte Kennels is by far the best kennel in the area for both boarding and day care. The staff is wonderful and my dog always comes home happy ! My husband is ill and they have been extra great in emergencies. I love Chatlotte Kennels and highly recommend them for all your pet care needs!

Just took my dogs for the first time yesterday and I am hooked! I have a German Shepherd and a Lab mix who both shed like crazy, and Charlotte Kennels was recommended to me for grooming. I dropped them off at 9am, they were placed in a run together (my lab mix has separation anxiety so this was much appreciated), and I picked them up around 5. They looked and smelled AMAZING, and seemed very happy and not stressed. I ve always taken them to Petsmart and while the groomers there are friendly and do a good job, I hated knowing that my boys were crammed in cages all day and they would return home so wound up and thirsty from not having water all day. This grooming was only slightly more than what I ve always paid at Petsmart and worth EVERY PENNY! Will be back many, many more times!

This was our first time leaving our dog Lilie with anyone. She seemed so happy when we went to pick her up. She was giving kisses to one of the ladies that brought her up to us. We heard from someone at the kennel during the week we were away that Lilie was doing well. It is very easy to see their love for animals at Charlotte Kennels. We will definitely use them again!

Our dogs actually enjoy a kennel for once! Aubrey and her crew work well with my hyper puppy and super shy dog. We will always come back!

Leaving our two dogs had always been a concern for us. Will they get enough attention? Be well cared for? Get sick? However, these questions do not even enter our mind now that we have Charlotte Kennels watch over them. They are always clean, healthy and happy when we pick them up and our one dog runs right in when we drop them off like they are old friends.

First time leaving my dog here I immediately noticed the welcoming and friendly staff at the front desk. The kennel was very clean and everything seemed well organized! I was put as ease knowing my dog would be treated with care as well as get the exercise she needs during play time. I would recommend Charlotte Kennels to anyone looking for a fun well kept and comforting Kennel to leave their dog at while being away. Here, your dog will be treated as family and living the life until you return!

Best Kennels Ever!!! A great bunch of people!!! Another AWESOME experience boarding Karma, my GSD mix, at Charlotte Kennels. They're the only place I would leave her bc they take such AMAZING care of her. Definitely the BEST in Union County!

We have been boarding our dog here for last couple of years. We always have had a great experience. Staff is polite and experienced. Kennel is clean and well kept. Enough space for dogs to run around during playtime. I wish they had an online booking tool of some sort... but still they get 5 star for their service.

My husband and I love taking our dog here for daycare! The staff is great, the facility is very clean, and the pricing is very low! Our dog comes home from daycare worn smack out (in the best way)! It s nice to know we have a facility that we can trust and will take the best care of our pup when we can t be with him!!
