Had the Chicken Alfredo & Crawfish soup. Chicken was flavored well and very tender. Amount of food for the price was more than fair. The Crawfish soup was AMAZINGLY GOOD!

Hard bun on burger. Our server wanted to smoke before taking our order in front of us! Garlic FF had garlic thrown on them not tossed in it. Horrible experience for 2 burgers.

Best blue cheese and bacon burger with a hazy ipa both made in house....

We ordered Lunch for the Office and it was Excellent.!! Cajun Shrimp Pasta and Salad was just right. Highly recommend the 602 Brewing Co.

If you want a quite dinner dont go there it is more of a bar, way too much noise, prices too high for Bastrop, steak was good, burger was good just need to leave that special sauce in the kitchen.

What a beautiful place and the food and service are outstanding. I love that they have such a large soup and salad bar with all my favorites. I hear they are adding a fashion show on Wednesday Ladies' night and can't wait to go!

Picked this place at random while going through Bastrop with friends. To start with, I couldn't decide if our waiter was being rudely sassy, so I've been calling it saucey & it, coupled with subpar service, continued the rest of the night. Friend 1 ordered the quail & was recommended to get the double order (he was a larger man & they are small), friend 2 & I decide to split an app & a Red Fish dish, as I eat small portions, red fish is supposed to be large, we were told legends of large portion sizes & it came with topped with crab meat. Seems like should be enough for 2, right? NOPE! Quite small portion size that our waiter doesn't seem us worthy of the same warning or friend got. Adding insult to injury, it came out on a ridiculously over sized plate. We ended up getting a 2nd meal elsewhere that night we were all so hungry. Friend 1's quail was good, the boudin was good (the menu at least says how skimpy that portion will be), the fish was super bland & frankly ugly of presentation, the crab topping with capers was a sad, sad little sight that looked dumped out of a can, the accompanying mustard greens smelled & tasted gross, the dirty rice was not tasty. It was NOT worth its $24 price tag. It also took forever for the food to come out. Very disappointing after all we had been told about the greater Austin area food & the smug-swank presentation of the NOT BUSY restaurant.

They have more Bells on tap than I've seen in San Antonio. Great beer selection! Good atmosphere, great service. Don't leave without trying the pretzel! Ask for beer cheese to go with it. Looking forward to going back up to Bastrop just to visit 602. Cheers!

Amazing food that is sourced fresh and local. Anytime I am close to this town I will come back. Thank you all so much for hosting us!

From all outward appearances this restaurant had much potential. "Farm to table" it says. I like farms, and this place had nice tables, with white linens and decent glassware. The food missed the mark though. The sources are impressive and respectable, but then most of it gets overcooked, and over sauced . I suppose for Bastrop this is more than acceptable. Isn't it time though that Bastrop steps up to caliber that most of are truly craving? When it comes to local food, there are other far more unassuming places in town that are spot on every time.

Your bar staff is seriously lacking, we have never visited after 8 so maybe we re getting the B team, on this our third trip, we were optimistic, over 5 minutes to be addressed, over 10 minutes on 2 drinks and 2 beers, martini was made poorly, vodka soda was vodka sprite
Bartenders were not attentive, It s a great location, your set up inside and out is great
Your bartenders except for one could use a couple days of seeing what right looks like

Came in this past Thursday at 1pm and there was one other person there. Yet it took 10min for anyone to come up to us. Then he forgot what beer I ordered after we waited for it, he had to come back and ask and then we waited again. We got our food and he forgot a fork. Came back with straws but again forgot the fork...another 5-10min before I had a fork to eat with. Overall poor service but good food.

This is normally one of our favorite downtown Bastrop places to eat. The food is always amazing and fresh! This evening the bar staff was not good at all. We felt like they were deliberately looking down or away when they passed to avoid our orders or even picking up our check. We'll be back and hope for the other attentive staff to be at the bar again...

Awesome atmosphere right in downtown Bastrop, the place has a ton of potential. Unfortunately for me the service was quite slow. Took 30 minutes to get a salad. I had ordered the chicken fried chicken, which took almost an hour to get, and they brought me the chicken fried steak instead. Was too hungry at that point to send it back. The food was great, the staff was friendly, but needing some attention on the customer service/kitchen side of things. I'd go back.

Sad that the menu on your website doesn't match the one you actually use. Took forever for the food to come out and it was mediocre at best.

We came in on a quiet afternoon for lunch. Our waitress wasn t wearing a mask and the table was dirty despite it being empty inside. We left and went down the street to Paw Paws for better service

Food was good, service a little slow, but it was one waitress and she was doing her best. It was slow enough that everyone was well distanced. Waitress wore a mask, but none of the other employees did including a guy who appeared to be the owner, but luckily he never came over to us. Sadly the outdoor patio appeared to be closed, it was a nice day out. The beer was tasty.

Just amazing. Great home feel service , good menu, huge selection of beer. Server Kimberly was just on point from beginning to end, and she has a little rocker hair style going on which just adds to the great personality lol. Make a trip and catch a growler while you re at it !

I was a single woman seated at the bar, got great service. The pork sliders were fantastic and I was offered a tasting of beer. Go during happy hour. Thanks a bunch Travis!

We've never even noticed the 602 on Main before and stumbled upon it almost by accident. The daily special sign out front had a delicious sounding halibut meal on it, so we walked right in.

Our server, Rich, was awesome. You easily got the feeling he takes pride in what they serve here and how they serve it. If I didn't know any better, I'd even think he owned the place. That's how well his service came across.

The lunch menu itself was simple and there were just the right amount of options available without having to spend a half hour deciding what to get.

We started with some coffee. It was a fantastic start to the meal. Rich and flavorful without being too strong. I fancy myself a bit of a coffee snob and this was excellent coffee to be sure. I take mine black, but my girlfriend takes creme with hers. She said that the cream was a sort of heavy whipping cream and was very delicious.

Then came the halibut. The portions looked a little on the small side, but I know how fancy dining tends to work, so I wasn't expecting it to be much more anyway. Turns out it was actually perfectly portioned. The flavors of the halibut, the lemon sauce they had drizzled it with, the perfectly seasoned green cauliflower, and the super tasty garlic mashed potatoes, we're all exceptional.

From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we pulled ourselves away from it, the 602 on Main has established itself as a new top spot for us. We will most definitely come back. Next time, for the dinner menu. They have a great selection of beer and wine as well.

Best bastrop restaurant so far. Right there with tough cookie! We had the chicken fried steak and vegetable platter. My only complaint is I wish they extended their happy hour until 7 and the veggie plate was a little small for the price . The pineapple habenero margarita was amazing. Our server, Face was fun, friendly, fast and helpful. Loved him!!!!

Had the Ahi Tuna and crawfish chowder. Very good I must say. I would eat here again...

Great place. Feel sorry for the owner. They give away more beer because they don't pay attention. We drove all the way out here for nye dinner and appetizers. They lied over the phone, and we waited 20 min for service, and never got it. Won't be back, and don't recommend. If this place was anywhere else it would not make it.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time last night. The service was above average, we sat outside on the patio and perhaps got a little slower service, but nothing too concerning. There was a lot of smoke out there, I wish there was more limited area for smoking. My husband ordered the 602 Chateau Loin with chimichurri, quite good and they got the temp right, medium rare. I ordered a medium rare ribeye, which came out very well done. Kudos to the waitress who noticed and asked me to cut into steak and then gladly returned it for another. They offered a free dessert for the extra wait, but I opted for a free wine while I waited. We were not in a hurry and were there also to watch the band and have a relaxing evening. The band, Djester Brother, was a really fun 70's Rock cover band with talented guitarists. I would go see them again. Overall a really fun night and pretty good food.

Bar none hands down the best restaurant my wife and i have been too in awhile! We came for our anniversary and couldnt be more satisfied for those who love locally sourced food from farms, bakeries and cattle ranches near you this is the place to go! I got the ribeye, salad, 602 burger, crab cakes and all of them exceeded our expectations so again give it a shot dont let the neg reviews fool you this is a gem!

This is our new favorite place to congregate after our Tuesday oils class. The artichoke chili dip and pineapple habanero margaritas are the bomb, baby. Highly recommend.

Great burgers, good selection of local beers. They partner with local bakery and farms for fresh produce. Check it out!

Just made our first trip to 602 Brewing Company this #Walktoberfest and it won't be our last! All of the food was delicious, but the Garlic Fries were absolutely amazing. Our waitress, Erin, may have looked like a #SoulessGinger, but she was a sweetheart. Need a break from Covid? Nothing beats a growler of #Cure19 to go!

I had fun here with some friends of mine. The bathroom was clean and the drinks were good. Got to hear some of the band it was cover songs but we enjoyed ourselfs. Left by midnight on a Saturday so they arent open real late.

This place is amazing. We came for our first time about a week ago with friends to try their drinks, then a few days later we came back to try the food we heard so many good things about and we were not disappointed. Everything we tried drinks and the food was awesome. I had the Ahi Tuna steak with Jasmine Lime rice and asparagus, and my husband had the Chicken Fried Ribeye with the cheddar mash potatoes, and both meals were incredible. Our waitress Alecia was awesome she made sure we were taken care of from start to finish and made sure we enjoyed everything, also we got our food in a fairly quick time. A few nights later we came back and the owner Raymond helped us by recommending to my husband the blackberry margarita for me, I don't like tasting alcohol in my drinks and I like semi-sweet drinks, and this was perfect. I have found my favorite drink for sure, and the bartender Travis is amazing at making his drink ratios perfectly. We have now come at least four times in the last week to enjoy great food, amazing drinks, and a good atmosphere with friends. I'm pretty sure 602 on Main is our go to spot from here on out.

I've both eaten here just by myself and recently utilized The 602 for an event. Both experiences were great! The food is among the best in Bastrop and the drinks are pretty stellar as well. The staff is prompt and friendly and we were blown away by how well our event was. Definitely give this place a shot!

Birthday dinner with the hubby. The service was great. What was better??? THE FOOD! Oh my gosh, the New York Strip was cooked to absolute perfection and the cheddar mashed potatoes...excellent! For starters we had the Artichoke Chili dip.... it was awesome! The portions were NOT skimpy. The prices, MORE THAN FAIR. We will definitely be going back.

I had heard nothing but great reviews about this place, great food, service and atmosphere. So, naturally I was extremely disappointed with our experience for Valentine's day dinner. Everything started off great! Our waitress was AMAZING!! She did everything in her power to make us feel welcomed. We loved her! However, the food was not uo to par. My steak was chewy and extremely hard to cut. I asked for well done but it was medium rare. There was no taste to the staek. The mashed potatoes was good though. My fiance's pasta was cold. We're not the type of people to complain about anything but we should've said something this time. Our special night was ruined in a way. The food was not worth the cost. So to say we will not be going back.

Raymond and his staff out did themselves for my daughter's engagement party. Our catering coordinator Sara was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed to make sure our party was successful and loaded with memories for a lifetime. This is our new favorite restaurant!!!

Cheddar grits and Gumbo! Definitely a spot to hit with Home building clients that are new to the area. The building and ambiance of Main-street makes this a weekly go-to for us!

I really wanted to love a new place. I have to say that my steak was amazing. I think the restaurant is confused. You either want to be known for food or known as a local bar. When i am paying four star pricing, it should be a bit less loud and invasive with the local happy hour. Perhaps, open the dining area, which was empty and closed off at 7pm, for those that want a true dining experience, paying 6o plus dollars for dinner to 3 dollar beers and 1/2 price margaritas. (Not accurate pricing for alcohol, but you get my drift). Will not try again unless you figure out what exactly you are trying to accomplish. Food or a loud bar in the center of your expensive menu. Not a fan of loud televisions blaring either. Focus on your food and the chef.

I've been here a couple times before but today was the worst ....The service was not so great...They told us to sit where ever and we did but it took atleast 15 min for someone to walk over and acknowledge us ..mind it I've been here before and everytime before the food has been amazing this time was different nothing tasted the same ...I come for the Mussels and they were out probably a good thing because the food didn't taste atall as it did before it was pretty gross

They were out of growlers, which is understandable there might be an issue with getting things shipped mid-pandemic, but I would recommend calling ahead and checking if that's why you're going there. The one problem I did have was that almost all of the employees that we spoke with were either wearing their mask improperly or not at all which is obviously unprofessional and unsafe right now. So if you are immuno-compromised or just not into unhealthy habits, I would skip out on this place until the pandemic is over. Everyone was sweet and friendly, but the lack of awareness was alarming, especially because all of the other businesses on Main were very good about mask-wearing.

Great food, and they served us a full dinner even though we arrived just after they switched to the limited menu. We had steak, quail, muscles, and fried green beans. All were good. The excellent beer and wine selection were a pleasant surprise, and they made me a very nice old fashioned.
