No smoking in casino I think that's good for pandemic safety. Sage steaks tender.

I wasn't a fan of the sudden mask change or that tables only allow 2 players but other than that it was fun

Really cool place. Upon signing up they give you a pin saying1st time visitor and We got $ 8 free play for Chinese new years. When we got started playing a man came up to us and gave us both$20 to play with(I'm sure it was because we had1st timer pins on lol) and he was really cool and nice. We left out of there winning around $65. We had a blast. Great time.

Not too big that you feel lost and not too small that you will get bored.

Lotsof Covid safety measures in place. Hopping with action. We didn't walk away winners but wee did see a guy win 11K on a $1 bet.

Popping !! In my opinion loosest slots out of all our local casinos. Top it off they are super clean and convict 19 aware. Way to go you guys

Staff are very friendly. Area is very clean. The food court has variety of menus to choose from. My wife wins $100. Not bad!

Not happy with the reopening not fun and very confusing it will be a long time before I go back didn't feel friendly as before I'm very sad and disappointed in the hold trip first time that I'm happy to be going home

Best place to go. No smoking area is large and a welcome to visit. Great selection of machines and food court . Had a good time

Barona is probably my favorite casino. I love the food. Their Pizza is yummy! Their buffet is great! I haven't had any luck their gambling lately, though. They so always have new fun and exciting games which is cool to check out

Had a great time and the grounds are beautiful. A lot of photo opportunities, rooms were clean, service was excellent. Their buffet is awesome the variety and the quality of the food is delicious! The Food Court has great food too. It is not far from Old Town San Diego so we went and that made the trip even more worth while. FYI: I did not gamble, but part of the casino is for smokers and the other side is not.

NOT the looses slots in SD and Buffet is way over priced.

Barona is clean. Not threadbare like Sycuan. Pays like Sycuan used to. Needs more cashiers. Drink service is adequate. Nice layout. I havnt been to the hotel. Sold out last time I tried. Watch out for the road in. Wildcat canyon is a little notorious. Funnest casino in San Diego!!

Clean and a very safe place to spend the day. No smoking is a very, very smart idea, me and my wife really enjoy and appreciate the clean atmosphere. Well done!!

I don't play the games. But the casino is clean well kept and beautiful. The rooms are quiet and relaxing. After a long day the room is where you want to be. I love the casino cafe. GREAT FOOD. I have friends that live on the reservation. So when I'm visiting I also visit the cafe. LOL. Being in the mountain is fresh and revitalizing. I go home renewed. This year's fireworks display was awesome. The pow wows are phenomenal. So elegant and spiritual. Whether you come to play the games or just get away from the city. ENJOY.

I'd give it a 5 star if it wasn't so smoky in there.

Love the buffet! Very helpful staff. But after going dozen or so times over last several months can say they are not loodest slots. They've tightened down payouts for slots. This confirmed by everyone sat next to. Guess back to tables

Sorry to say but. Is not agood time to go, machines are not giveing a penny.

I enjoy this sweet getaway for many reasons, the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Housekeeping is always happy to customize types of coffees I like in my room, chocolates, robe extra blankets and a smile. The spa, pool and golf course are perfect places to unwind. The greatest thing about Barona is everyone has smile on their face and happy to see me. I do believe we are lucky on the black jack table. I leave Barona with money in my pocket from winnings...yipppieeeee

Everything was great, except for valet. My wife has a very unique and nice vehicle. The kids working valet took a solid 10 minutes from the time they left to ge get the vehicle before they returned. We became so anxious that we sat down while we were waiting. Then after sitting there and getting fed up, right as I was about to say something, two valets ride up in the vehicle. My instinct is that they were joyriding. It was the single blemish on an other wise expert customer service experience.

I love the expanded food court area and the entrance from the parking structure is completely changed. More slots, more restrooms, bigger coffee & pastry resturant!

So gorgeous! The renovations are complete and the garden they have put in (complete with ginormous indoor tree) is just breathtaking. It's also a good spot to win a bit of money, of course. There's a huge non-smoking section as well as a decent smoking section too. Go join the fun!

First, Barona offers many of my favorite keno machines which makes it easy to find. Secondly, the Guest Service Department is outstanding. Lastly, the variety of quality food offered is in one building and is one of my first stops.

Borona is probably one of the best Indian Casinos there is. Very upscale and well maintained hotel / grounds. The Casino is HUGE! Also the pricing of all of the food is extremely affordable, unlike most Casinos. The casinos location is awesome because it's about 25 minutes from Downtown SD. Can't wait to plan my next visit.

The Barona AYCE Buffet has the best selection of seafood and carved meat and their desserts are to die for! Amazing great quality tasting food you can indulge in for $49.95 per person on Thanksgiving Day. Players with 500 points on their player card pay only 24.95. I especially love the scenic route driving over there. I do not gamble at all but you would be mesmerized by the giant slot machines they have on the floor. Feels like you re in Vegas!

Great looking place, but slots were not too friendly. Hasn't been here in a couple of years and were back in town. Wow, process seem to have skyrocketed, buffet was much more expensive than I remember. Place looked really nice though.

The restrooms were so dirty, disgusting I had to use the handy cap toilet. Gross

Always have fun, a great experience, great comps, the staff is friendly, they all make you feel welcome.

Love this casino loose slots friendly staff they go over and above for their patrons. I have been only twice but find it the best casino in area.

Walk in there with $95 in my pocket and I left out of there with none not a single dollar. That darn Place took all my money I want my money back. I had fun though.

4 1/2 to be exact. This casino is squeaky clean and you actually win here. A variety of everything everywhere. If you are not a smoker, be glad because it wasn't smokey at all. Even in the designated smoking areas. If you need help or food service, there's always someone right on the spot, with a great attitude as well. The food, snacks, and even the complimentary drinks tasted fresh and clean. I really had a good time there.

It's great until u lose something and find out the security's there aren't helpful and you won't get nothing back even tho there's cameras everywhere so they'll take ur cash but won't help u get ur own belongings back

Alot of games to play different being you have to cash out at a change place instead of a kiosk

I was impressed how they really strive to make you feel at home.
They have done a a great job in keeping their customers safe.They are meticulous in keeping everything as sanitary as possible.
Another plus is that its a smoke free casino with lots of slots to choose.
It definitely is worth the drive from Los Angeles.

Visit was okay but I feel like the machines could have paid out a bit more I mean I was playing the max and got only $100 on a bonus o.O I put out way more than what I got .

They were snakes. Greedy and my tribe would be ashamed. Thanks to God and His Spirit we did not fold and be of the gambling greed many tribes chose.

Always love going to the casino, don't gamble to much but the tables are always clean, and if your lucky you can get a quiet table rarely happens though , I also love eating at the sage cafe go after 4 to enjoy the free Indian fry bread , the chicken wings are absolutely amazing, I always get them when I go , order just the wings don't get the sampler , and the prime rib dinner with chicken tortilla soup is delicious, good food and portion for the price can't beat it, will return

This casino is so awesome to allow us to camp out in our RV for the time being. Enjoying our little mini spring break up at Barrona. They have great food , staff and games. Enjoying All of it and while being able to return to the security our home away from home RV while we stay up here. Allowing us to not only in a designated RV parking lot that is in a more then adequate distance to the casino along with safe from any wrong doing kind of people should one find their way to this very giving casino and Indian Reservation. All for no charge at all. Thank you Barrona!

I hate the fact that this low class Casino shows when someone is getting food service next to you smoking, touching the slots Machines and you end up getting dirty on somebody else's food leftovers. Tasteless Crouds of wanna be gamblers...

Banh Mi is really good. The buffet has about 6-7 different types (American, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, etc). Kids are only allowed to enter before 8PM but theywillneedtowalk through the casino. Plenty of parking.

Long drive for Great service and a possible win. They let me try the money machine.

My wife and I love to go here just for the buffet it's got to be the best buffet I've ever been to it is a little pricey though but totally worth it if you're willing to pay for it will definitely keep going back

Alcohol is no longer served on the Casino floor as they have lowered the legal age to gamble to 18. So no complimentary loaded drinks, the food is sub part at best. Lots of new games & plenty of tables.

The staff is awesome! Their effort to make the place clean during Caronavirus has been spectacular! I love that the casino is non-smoking!

This is NOT your typical casino, it goes WAY beyond that.
The grounds, architecture, and layout of the casino, hotel, and small road to get to the parking lots are superb.
During the holidays the drive, the grounds, and the casino are bedecked with charming decorations and festive lights.
They have three lakes, a rose garden, and a pro golf course.
There is a covered parking structure, and multiple large open air parking lots.
Both shuttle and valet parking are available from the open lots.
Those with physical challenges will find it easy to get around both in and outside of the casino.
This is without doubt the best designed casino in SoCal.
Staff always go out of their way to to make you stay the best.
Machines are easy to find, the air quality is the best of it's competitors, and the buffet, restaurants, and food court beat the pants off everyone else!

The stay was great. Rooms are so pleasant. Nice and clean. Dinner was great, we took friends with us, they loved the prim rib, I had the shrimp, excellent. Thanks again for a great experience.

Its decorated so beautifully for the holidays! The greeters are very friendly and festive. I dont really gamble but I bet its 80% Asians on the slot machines. I love their buffet! Beautifully set up.

I understand why they play the same message but it is really annoying to hear COVID message repeated so often.

Return to player on slots is way down no matter what the employees say. Also certain employees are very rude about mask policies and have led me to go to their competitors

Pretty chill hade some Mexican food and I did not play but there were people playing the slots

Being going there for last 7 years love the place food is great doesn't matter where you eat just one thing I am not winning went 6 weeks straight put 500 a week and got nothing back and yes I am platinum

Comps are always good. We enjoy the Sage Cafe, all though service is always slow and hostess always say they are short handed no matter what time of day or night It is. Overall it is our favorite casino in San Diego.

The people who work there are fantastic. Eddie ,the players club supervisor was great. Had us set up from a call from the day before. Did exactly what he said that he would do. Best casino buffet I have been to in years. I've been to alot. The most courteous casino workers I've ever seen. Lost money but was very happy with my overall experience. Barons is a great casino destination.

I love Baron but l am trying to stay away because they have the machines very tight and is not fun to be losing all the time.

Loved it. The table energy was eclectic. The dealers are very fun even funny you can tell it's more than a job. Also the tables were not empty and intimidating, all tables were full on a sat mid day. Everyone playing Texas hold em including myself kept winning. I was there for two hours I won 4 hundred and had to leave. I plan on going back very soon. Recommend highly based on my experience and observation.

Went for the 40.000 dollar lottery! No numbers but played slots won 150. Not bad! Had a good time. Went back to play slots. The staff came over to me said we noticed your play.like to upgrade your players card to gold and give you a comp to eat. He said we're would you like to eat.hu I said a burrito sounds good. He said be right back with comp for barrito what a staff very friendly! Great time .tonight Thursday again lottery at 80.000 4pm. 10 pm be their ( good luck.)

Doing an excellent job of keeping the casino clean for Covid prevention. No smoking in the casino which is great because if you are breathing second hand smoke you are not only damaging your lungs you are also breathing particulates from the person blowing out the smoke from their mouth.

Very fun I had a great time very well lit. Well decorated, great buffet. Beautiful. Won 80 bucks my first spin. Welcomes ages 18 and older. Friendly staff with big smiles. Just walking in I felt like millionaire. I bought some nice costume jewelry as well.

Won a little money this time around, but of course the buffet still the best. Yeahhh!

Love the greeters; they remind me that affirmative action is even working on a federal government land owned by Native Americans. They remind me of Walmart greeters only difference is when I leave with there money they don't check my receipt. LOL
