Bardessono Review

Wonderful hotel in every way. Really nice room - love the automatic and external blinds, outdoor tub, and spacious interior. They are also very dog friendly and gave our dog a bed, bowls, and home made treats! We were here for a special occasion and the staff did so much to make it special. Thanks Taylor and team!

I've traveled quite a bit and stayed in a lot of hotels and I have to say: this is the best hotel I've stayed in so far in my life. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the service is courteous yet not up-tight, and most of all, everyone that worked there made me feel special and like I was a valued customer. Because we we're there to celebrate our wedding, wife an I decided we should make a visit to Bardessono a yearly event. See you back again in November! Beautiful hotel in Napa Valley. We are brunch at Lucy and had an amazing time.

Great hotel, awesome pool with floats and huge cabanas. Free pastries in the morning, and to order room service it s as simple as pressing a button on the iPad assigned to your room. Everything in your room, mainly the minibar is free, and when you check in: free glass of delicious wine.

Attentive service good drinks made this a successful stop.

Fantastic venue for weddings! Excellent food, venue and service.

Stayed two nights and was blown away. This place is top notch; service, scenery, food. Of all the hotels I ve stayed in on this planet this place was hands down the best. We did the wine and dine at their restaurant, though it was pricey it was worth every cent. Most of the food comes from the hotel grounds, what they do not grow is as local as possible. Can t wait to plan my next trip to the valley so I can stay again.

Yes, this hotel is expensive. But it sure is a 5-star hotel in every regards and then some. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the property is spotless with a modern architecture, every room is thoughtfully designed, and it is literally at the "heart" of downtown Yountville (not that Yountville is big). This hotel is a perfect getaway with your special someone, where you can disconnect and enjoy a perfect blend of modern yet locally connected wine country experience.

I loved the privacy considerations for each "room" - where there is a private patio. The weather is perfect where you can lay out in the sun. And at night, the stars light up like nothing.

Will return!

We had a good sized room/suite with an equally nice sized bathroom. I enjoyed being within walking distance to the core of Yontville. It s grown into such a beautiful town!

The food and service is outstanding. Kevin the general manager is a seasoned professional and charming man. The wine list is not overwhelming and well priced. I've been coming to Napa for over 18 years and this is a MUST visit destination for lunch or dinner. The property is beautiful and I have not yet stayed in the hotel. That's for next trip!

It's a unique, out of this world hotel. Very fine attention to detail. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It's a very luxe place in an excellent location. But for the price, was a little underwhelmed.

The room is well appointed and hi-tech and the bath is excellent. But it was looking a little tired in places (water marks on some of the wood furniture, marked tiles on the floor, scratches on some of the base units). Also some of the kit in the room seemed a little dated (e.g. the TV).

The courtyard is very nice, the service from the valet and bellhops first rate. The in room iPad to order room service is very neat.

On the downside the place lacks a little serenity - the "downtown" (village) location means that noise from light traffic and construction is inevitable and nothing the hotel can do about it. But there are a lot of guests making quite loud business calls in the communal areas and lots of through traffic from visitors etc. Also the pool area is pleasant but a bit soulless. And the rooms are quite overlooked (or in our case had a less the glamorous view of the car park).

Service is very good but the front desk is - in contrast to the valet - quite stilted and awkward and the concierge services weren't tremendously helpful in advance.

Overall very nice and elegant hotel, but perhaps has slipped a little and the competition may now be stronger.

Best hotel on Earth, best setting, best service, best location. Appears to be the most modern/ contemporary hotel in the area, which is a huge draw considering all the others tend to blend in. Entire staff provided the absolute best customer service we've ever received- anywhere!
From the Valet's knowing your name before you arrive, to the front desk knowing your preferences and name. It really shows just how much they pride themselves on customer service.

Also, they offer Lexus' for free rental to take around town, and if you enjoy Yountville too much, they'll even pick you up in one for free.

Not to mention, most incredible rooms. Giant bathtubs, steam showers, private terraces, outdoor showers, some rooms even offer outdoor baths.

This is probably in the top 3 best hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff is incredible and there is a quiet, non ostentatious way they go about serving you and making you feel incredible that goes straight from checking in all the way to leaving. Whether it is offering to go to the market to pick things up on a very rainy day, providing a high quality glass of wine at check-in, or free shuttle service in luxury cars anywhere in the area, it is incredible. Before we needed to got there, there was a chance we had to cancel, and despite it being a non-refundable room, they were even willing to let us cancel.

The rooms are also big and finely detailed; great fireplaces, comfortable beds, and massive bathrooms with one of the biggest hotel room tubs with jets that I've ever seen, a patio, truly functional iPad in the room, and very comfortable bed. The only bad parts I experienced during our stay was lack of transparency around whether the food & bev credit that came with our room was good even after we checked out (they bent the rules and it was), and slightly slow service at Lucy, the restaurant in the hotel.

No question that I'd stay here again or recommend it without hesitation to others.

Absolutely fabulous resort! Stayed four nights and it was the most relaxing and fun vacations in years. Very convent to wineries and some of the best restaurants in the world. Lucy, the restaurant on the property was perfect! Can't wait to get back there when our world returns to semi-normal status. Thank you Bardessono.

Bardessono is a wonderful hotel if you are planning a trip to the Napa Valley. It s location in Yountville is convenient to many restaurants, coffee shops and wineries. Even more important then location, is the wonderful attention you are given from the minute you pull up to the hotel. The valets are attentive and friendly and remained so through our entire visit, anticipating our needs without us having to request anything. The check in procedure was smooth and effortless and they graciously offered us an early check in despite the fact we arrived 3 hours earlier than the hotels check in time. The concierge Matt was so helpful with advice and suggestions for our visit. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed - large bathroom, sitting area and comfortable outdoor patio space. The pool area is lovely. An amazing perk of the hotel is usage of various models of test cars. You can borrow them for up to three hours which gives you wonderful flexibility to explore on your own without using Uber, taxi or car service. All of the staff was wonderful and made us feel welcome and pampered without being intrusive. I highly recommend the Bardessono if you are planning a visit to Napa!

Amazing stay! Beautiful property and rooms! The concierge was extremely efficient and on point! Matt set up an amazing line up of wineries for us and was always available via text and email. Absolute favorite hotel! Will be coming back for sure!

Exceptional hotel with the most amazing staff. My wife and I stayed for a week and were blown away by the accommodations and gorgeous property. We loved every moment here.

Beautiful place but I didn't stay. Friends from Texas did. I was more impressed with the toilets than the bar.

Extremely comfortable rooms. Large bathrooms. Great customer service. Pool is well maintained and they give coffee and pastries in the AM. Wish they had more deals for tastings with local wineries however.

Was here for a 60 minute massage for me and my wife. Since we did not stay at the hotel, we had to get a day pass. The way that works is you need to sign up for a massage that is 60 minutes minimum, and you will also have access to the pool for the day. Overall we had a great time here. All staff we interacted with, from the valets, front desk staff, to the reps at the spa were all courteous and professional. The massage itself was good too. I had the standard Bardessono massage while my wife had the mother to be massage.

Beautiful hotel though honestly I am not sure it is worth wha they get per night. Walking distance from some great restaurant options including French Laundry and Bottega. Nice hotel feature to have use of on site Lexus cars if you want to take a ride around the area.

One of the best hotels in the Napa Valley! Luxurious and spacious suite-style rooms with private courtyards have all you need to relax and unwind. Even your pets are welcome! Pamper yourself at the spa or indulge in a massage in the privacy of your room, take a yoga or fitness class, soak up the sun at the rooftop pool, take a bike ride to explore Yountville, and enjoy delicious garden-inspired food at Lucy Restaurant on site. Everything you could possibly want or need in one location with excellent customer service. You won't want to leave!
