I can highly recommend Barclay Communications. I have been with them a long number of years initially as a small business and now as a family user. They have always given me the same time and attention no matter what size of contract I have with them.
All of their sales and support staff provide really excellent help and are very knowledgeable of the products and solutions.
Everything we need to change is sorted out highly efficiently and also in a very friendly, supportive manner. It is great not to have to endure long queues on hold with our service provider. Barclay Communications deal with all these issues directly.
I would highly recommend Barclay Communications on the basis of the excellent support given by the staff and they have always been really good value for money.

Great support from Simon he is always at the end of the phone or email and in emergencies has called to help us sort out any issues which I'm sure has taken him out of his way. He has a solution for any of our queries.

Appalling company. Sold my company lies about quick install, no downtime, when it took 7 weeks to get new phones that were not new, then broadband patchy at best. Avoid avoid avoid.

To add insult to injury, folks be warned, all the most recent reviews are by their own staff. This outfit have no integrity whatsoever.

I took out a 24 month contrack two years ago.
I asked was it an ordinary 02 account they said it was. I realised after I had started into the contract it was a business account . I was to late to change it so I said I would leave it.
Saying the two years was near up I rang 02 today to change my account they informed me that now I have another year to go as Barkley changed my account last year to sim only account for 24 months. When they rang me last year after 1 year I understood that it was only check up that everything was ok not to agree to an extra year.
I would not recommend this firm to noone they deceive people.
I have reported this to 02.
Also my father had an contract with them and now he doesn't need a contract he had went to 02 just for a ordinary account and he had serious bother getting Barclays to pass over details to let him transfer over. This is the sort of firm they are treating elderly people like this.

In response to your comment, I have contacted you on numerous occasions and our client manager and his side kick knows exactly what the issue is, they also know that my personal barclay contract runs out in July and there isn't a chance in hell I will be renewing it despite being repeatedly hassled by one of your sales team

Personally I cannot fault Barclay Communications. From start to finish the staff have been friendly and attentive. No issue goes unresolved. And all requests no matter how big or small receive the same level of attention

No option for zero stars!!! When a "communcation" company cannot communicate, it speaks volumes. All the negative comments here strike a chord and I would not recommend this company, especially for private users, do it yourself. Go sim only and use someone like giff gaff or the likes with a 30 day contract. I have even paid to get out of my contract!!!!

Barclay Communications have been looking after my company land lines and mobiles for over 10 years now.
The level of service and professionalism from our account manager and their team is always perfect. Emails responded top quickly and with a feeling of personal service.

We are so impressed with the level of service we now have barclays looking after out IT throughout the office. Supplying us with hardware and remote monitoring of any issues we may come up against.

Could not recommend Barclay Communications services highly enough. We have used other providers in the past who have massive amounts of hidden charges and try to lock you in to contracts for longer periods.
At every renewal and review meeting our allocated manager makes our options very clear and we know exactly the where our service is going.
We will continue to do business with Barclay communications and John Roulston for the foreseeable future.

Didn t pass me over to one of his minions to deal with the problem. He himself took the time sort out my issue an come up with a solution.

He was most helpful and organised a return call.
He also arranged to have a new sim card posted out to me.

Customer service - particularly from management is a complete disgrace. They have locked me into a 4 year contract which i did not agree to - they produced a shady looking contract that has 3 different handwriting styles on it saying i signed it - even though it is clearly not my hand writing and my name is even spelled wrong. i have called several times and sent countless time asking for the manager who is dealing to call me and she hasn't called me once in over three months - My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs

made the stupid mistake of falling for the area managers garbage and signed with this shower for over 2 yrs nearly 3 if we count the shady extra year that appeared....its ending in 6 months (apparently) and it can't come quick enough. Worst mobile company I've had the misfortune to be with ( been with 3 so far in my current role)

I've had 3 sales managers in 18 months...never informed of any change till my email gets redirected or bounced.

Waiting for a price list and have waited 7 hours...7 hours for a pdf to be attached to an email...come on!!!

Waited 10 days for a phone after been told its in stock and will be with me with in 2 days...I'm paying a sales manager salary and he's sitting in the house waiting for a phone...

and the BIGGEST getting locked into another years contract...this mob are not good.

*** UPDATE****
just an update as I found out what the companies tactics are when they manage to lock you into new longer deals without you giving permission.

I have 21 Lines/numbers in my contact, mid way through the deal I changed my number because of unsolicited calls; simple thing I hear you say, maybe even done it yourself with your personal mobile....Barclays have now tried to lock me in again on a new 36months deal for this one number meaning all other 20 lines would be under contact till then.

Luckily I've O2 step in and the new 3 year deal has been cancelled...counting down the next couple of months.

The worst company you could have the unfortunate experience of being caught out with. Like the rest of the reviews here I can also deliver the same shocking anecdotes of dubious contracts and dealings. As they are just a reseller OFCOM cant touch them and so you don't have a leg to stand on when you realise (very quickly) you've been had. This has not only happened to ouselves but to a number of other SMEs we do business with and unfortunately some of their stories are genuinely horrific. Customer service is somewhat leftfield when they know they have been rumbled. This will usually involves being hung up on and swore at using the most creative profanity I have become aware of. We are currently paying full premium just to 'ride out' the rest of all the contracts just to get free from Barclay Communications. This has been the worst case of a 'service provision' business we have ever had the unfortunate case of dealing with in over 50 years of our business.

We have had a FANTASTIC experience and service from the initial consultation with Stewart to the survey, to the installation with Andy from 3sixty everything was second to none. Barclays have restored my faith in the telecoms industry after a terrible experience over the last 3 years with another provider. Mitchell is an asset to your company, the guy is so knowledgeable and takes a down to earth yet professional approach to his work and has repeatedly gone out of his way to ensure everything works perfectly. I've been a customer for well over 10 years - maybe, in fact, 15.

They're a great "buffer" between the customer and the facelessness of o2 - that, and their great service, is why I use them, and will continue to do so. And, in fact also moved every one of my family accounts under their umbrella, and they helped me maximise my hardware allowance credits by doing so.

Service is key, in life, and when you're busy, you need a supplier to be proactive in helping you, not waiting till you call them with a problem.

My a/c manager, Lisa, calls me every quarter, having done a review of my account and with suggestions as to where it might be tweaked to help me maximise my calling & data plans.

The contrast between dealing with o2 directly, and though Barclays, is simply enormous, and doesn't cost me any more. Even if it did, I would still go through them.

They provided me a new IPhone which had a slight marked on it, arranged a collection for the phone and then claimed I have personally marked the phone so not prepared to replace the handset, not even been turned on or plastic covers removed, seen the mark immediately once I removed the phone from the box

due to the fact I did not realise it was added. please go direct to the phone server of your choice and do not trust a third party. They are only there to help themselves

I have been dealing with Barclay Communications for years and I am happy to say I received nothing but the best service from anyone I have dealt with within the company! They are quick to respond if I ever have a query, the pricing is always competitive come upgrade stage and I have always felt my account is managed to a high standard, would highly recommend!

The worst company I have ever dealt with. My boss ordered 10 phones on a new contract and after weeks of waiting we eventually received them. 3 were open when we received them and 2 were faulty. I asked for replacements and we were told we should have taken insurance! The service is appalling, rude, obnoxious staff. We were previously with Connect Telecom on Vodafone, price was higher but the service was excellent. Avoid Barclay Communications, pathetic business.

Have been really impressed by the service by the entire team. It's very affordable, we were able to save a lot of money in comparison to our old provider. The VOIP system itself is faultless, it's reliable, and the support team's knowledge / expertise is second to none in the background if we need them with the set up or with reporting.
