Hamilton was outstanding! Seats are too close together and uncomfortable. Theater temperature was perfect, and staff was very nice! We would go more often if the seats were better.
We just returned from seeing Shen Yun and I am really turned off by it. I expected classic Chinese dance and music and left feeling gypped. Much of it was proselytization in support of Falon Gong, which had no place in a show with tickets costing $70 and up. Much of it was not classical Chinese music and dance. Instead, it was lovely costumes, nice music on the part of the orchestra and not-so-great dance. Shame on you Barbara B. Mann. I feel like I attended a revival meeting, not a world-class performance.
First time here for the Lion King performance, I have to day that I was pleasantly surprised such a cool little spot existed in Ft Myers. We will definitely be back for anything else we see here. The layout was a great standard for performing arts halls, sound was flawless from the stage and the orchestra areas, and the seating views were great too.
Beautiful hall to perform in. FUI has a wonderful facility and great performing ensembles. I have performed on this stage many times and am always amazed that a space of this size has such a powerful sound. Love the design of the audience with the balcony - as well as the adjustable curtains for acoustic alterations.
Bring a SMALL purse ladies! If it doesn't fit in shoebox you cant bring it in. Seriously! Other than that it was awesome!
I love this place. Have seen concerts, musicals, etc. and they ALL have been amazing. A great cultural place for Lee County.
Inside the theatre was really well organized, down to the bathrooms on intermission. The seats were clean (fabric) and comfortable except when it came to leg room. Simple and nicely decor. Just had to get around construction when going in. Over all had a good evening.
Love the plays been to 6 of them !!! Worth every penny!!
Good theater, clean and easy to see stage even from back rows. Need more womens lavatories. For me the portables ones aren't an option at a nice event
Solid views of the stage from even up in the balcony. Generally brings in a great schedule, and since the stage is a bit bigger in size really allows for some excellent performances. Try the candied pecans.
The orchestra was too loud and we could not hear the singing. Don't sit in the balcony.
Nice venue for performances- good viewing from any section
Great theater, small enough to feel cozy with good seats, but not so large you get lost. Helpful staff, good selection of shows, nice concession stands. Well maintained & ample parking.
What a perfect night! The performance was FANTASTIC! Pink Martini!! Storm Large!! Wow! Also I must say thank you to the ladies that help everyone find the correct seats. You gals are fabulous. And really keep everyone in order. This is a wonderful venue for any performance.
The Little River Band was fantastic and the venue was terrific.
Always bring great artist musicians great atmosphere there
The acoustics are phenomenal;however it s older so seating can be an issue for the visually challenged like myself. I sat near the top for a recent show The Bodyguard and really could have used binoculars. Sound was incredible but visually was straining up so high not to mention the numerous stairs I helped my elderly father climb with his cane. Not the best accommodation for disabled unless you are down lower. There are also not enough handicapped parking spaces available in the main lot. I was a little disappointed; however they offer valet parking but my old school father was not going to allow that. Overall, I give it a four because it can grow and correct the outdated interior during off season.
It was great, we went to see Patti LaBelle and she performed wonderful
Beautiful theater! Amazing shows! And causal prices
We hit several shows a year an always enjoy them. The peanuts man in lobby is my favorite part
Good shows , good seating, but no police presence when leaving the parking lot...traffic jams and mayhem
Great Shows ... Still most are reasonable Priced !l
Gorgeous place and grounds are beautiful too. A lot of parking.
I've been here many times for concerts and it's fantastic!
Great shows, various types of performances and events.
Great place to catch a comedy show or performance. Staff is friendly and helpful!
Recently saw Spamalot and what greeted with excellent staff. Everyone was very nice and I would go again.
Great Place, Every Seat Has A Fantastic View Of The Stage And Performances
Straight No Chaser was awesome! My daughter and I had a blast!
Great venue, I look forward to frequenting this place.
A beautiful facility! The staff is also super friendly and helpful. The tickets are a little pricey in my opinion, but no more than Hertz arena and the atmosphere is much more comfortable, clean and intimate.
Great facility and easy access. BroadwaySeries is wonderful. A Bronx Tale was very entertaining. Lots of very talented performers.
This is the best place around to listen to music. I have seen some BIG acts. You are always treated well. They r very helpful if u don't know where your going. Why r there negative reviews, I can't figure that out.
I saw The Wizard of Oz here years ago and it was a great performance
Bad air conditioning. The performance was great but it was so hot I was sweating
Auditorium is awesome! Grateful for this location for our county high school musical awards
My wife and I both became sick and could not attend the Feb 16th performance.I asked for an acception to the no refund policy and was denied. We are frequent attendes and felt do the the circumstances they would understand. It will be difficult to prepurchase tickets in the future.
Acoustics are no the best and the stairs up to the seats are dangerous for the older generation. Saw a lady that could barely make the steps up to her seat.
Clean. Organized, able to accommodate large numbers of people in a timely fashion. Caliber of entertainment is gunite high.
They really need to work on concessions. The lines are awful. The events they bring in are good. Parking is pretty good and free.
Great place for shows. Not a bad seat in the whole place.
Ended up here by accident stayed for a show it was an excellent theater with a very friendly staff. I wish I lived closer. The sound and seating was very good.
Almost every seat is a good seat in this theatre. I have been twice in the last 6 months. Both shows I saw were amazing. One was The Bodyguard and the most recent was a concert with Harry Connick Jr. He put on a great show. I have never been disappointed over the years as many times as I have been to Barbara B Mann. You can always count on a quality show, but make sure you take a light jacket.
Wonderful small theater. We were 8rows from the back for Hamilton. Great acustics and lines of sight. No obstructed views anywhere in the house.
Good theater. Could use more diffusion at the back of the concert hall first floor. Definitely a little cancellation. But I only know cause I'm an engineer. Besides that you got state of the art midas boards worth over 100k and good sound people. Good orchestra concerts from there music programs. The euphonium is beautiful.
Hamilton was awesome. I always enjoy seeing performances here. As of January 2020, valet parking was $15. *Tip* to get to the valet station the fastest, take the steps on the far left, as you face the stage, all the way down to the bottom exit. It takes you directly out next to valet ticket station. You cannot come back in that way, however. Bottle water, cookies, pretzels, and water are all $4. I think the candy is the same price. Wine is $7. The one comment people made was the limited restroom facilities. The line for both men and women get long during intermission. Though the men's line go faster.
Great shows, they should look at upgradeing the seating soon.
Drinks were outrageous $8 for single 16 for a double the stairs going up to the nosebleed section were very narrow and steep and dangerous
Great building and probably not a bad seat in the house...went for a 60's...70's & 80's music review...what they lacked in talent they more than made up for in volume..very loud
The theater is very nice and they are organized. Did not mind driving 2 hours to get there, the show was great.
A great hall for up to 1,800 guests. Acoustics are good. Counter s et vice is good.
I thought it was hard to see the stage clearly from the middle of the theater. I can't image what the stage and performers look like from the seats in the back of the theater.
A great venue for a concert. Yanni was incredible and played for almost 3 hours
Will definitely go back
Jeanne Robertson, the comedienne, is hysterically funny. We have seen her twice and gets better every time. Check her out on You Tube.
This is such a fun place to go for a show or concert and can make such a great night out
Convenient venue. Easy access, plenty of parking, all good seats....not overhyped, not oversold. One good performance after another!
A very nice place I haven't been able to go to much.
The seat appear to be in good condition, and it appears to be maintained fairly well. However, the elevator is a glass one and kind of freaks me out.
