Fantastic doowop! Brought back really nice memories.
Love going here for plays and concerts. Place has changed a lot since I went there when it was Edison Community College.
The acoustics in this small hall are EXCELLENT!!!
If you're in Ft. Myers and there is a show here, you should definitely go!!!
Very good venue for live bands. At Joe Bonamassa show now!!!
Such a shame that I can only rate this venue 5 Stars. They deserve at least 7!! Absolutely beautiful and easy to navigate! Parking is plentiful with minimal walking to the theater. Seating, concession stands, and restrooms are all topnotch! And ALL of the employees were helpful and courteous.
A gorgeous theater facility with comfortable seats and Great Sound and Lighting. Upon leaving a major event, the parking lot can be quite jammed. One tip is to park farther from the theater and closer to the exit.
Clean, comfortable seating. Can be cool, bring a sweater.
Hamilton play - Could not understand a single word sung. No other man I spoke to understood anything either. My wife dragged me to the event. Never again.
Thank you it was a pleasure being there and enjoy the show all those school are working very hard.Great night with them Thank you for your support .
Loved World of Dance but the theater was very musty smelling. They are well organized and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
You need to do the responsible thing and close down during this crisis. Your profits shouldn t be a bigger concern than your patrons - most of which are well into the age range of concern.
Every show of ever been to there is of the utmost top quality entertainment great....
Ticket prices are awesome and the venue is always at its best
The premiere location for touring acts in the city of Fort Myers.
Quite disappointed with them. Rodney Carrington Show March 24th bought tickets the day they went on sale in December. I was super excited and the process was easy enough online. Tickets to be left at the office for pick up. That process was fine. Several weeks before the show I find out I can not make those dates, a work related an event comes up. I read the policy no refunds no transfers that's fine I get it so I tell a friend I have tickets to the show he's welcome to them. Here is where I am seriously disappointed with the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW. Over a period of several days I am calling the 489-4849 number to find out how to get the tickets so my friend can get them as I had them at will call for pick up. To my surprise I find I keep getting there busy and someone will be right with me and places on hold. Hold for over 5 minutes to then have the called disconnected. A call back results in the same thing, then again a third call but this time after their standard hours open message it just hangs up on me. All calls we made from a landline, not a cell phone. Days later same making calls again to the box office during their working hours to again get no response. Again on another day the week before the show the same thing no human answers beyond the voice recording. Day of event he shows up to collect the tickets at will call call to be told he needs ID and are turned away.
I don't know what I am more pissed about. The fact that after repeated calls to your customer service to get hung or not even be able to get to someone, well before the she show during the stated open hours- or the fact that there was no attempt to contact me at the time of event were I could have given the The ID/cc or info needed and OK. Thanks Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW for wasting $108 dollars. The last dollars you will see from me.
Nice staff. Well organized. Great atmosphere for a play or concert
The show that I went to watch this past weekend, bert kreischer, real funny! The facility is a little order, seating is tight which is the only downside. staff real friendly and attentive, audio could be a little better in the nosebleed seats and better accessibility for us older folk.
Oakridge Boys performance was top notch. Auditorium perfect.
Nice facility to see a show. Long lines for booze... wish there were better coffee options
Great venue to watch a performance... Not a bad seat in the house!
Never been a great fan of this theater. While it is well taken care of, the bars aren't big enough to accommodate everyone in a reasonable time. There is always an enormous line. The theater rooms themselves are decent
Delightful atmosphere, wonderful acoustics and amazing performances!
The theater is very nice but the show we saw wasn't to good that night.
More handicaps spots are needed. This venue in this location lends itself to a strong "senior" population.
Seats are very comfortable and audio was well balanced. Refreshments were readily available and can be taken into theater.
One easily correctable item would be to be sure all personel were informed of the event taking place. Several had no idea this was a complete show (Show Boat) and were telling people it was just the symphony playing music from the show!
Would be nice to have a folding cup holder in the seat in front as the slope of the floor can cause cups to roll once empty and placed on the floor.
Bathrooms were clean (of course never enough at intermission) but the crowd did clear in plenty of time.
The symphony was good but felt there's some room still for improvement, especially in the timing at the intro of a musical number. Our show was very well done by players from the Broadway Palm theater.
The ticket price was just a bit high.
Overall a great venue. One of the nicest in the area.
Attended the New Cats of Country 9, and the concert hall was a great setup for the event!
Loved the performance. Half my group had perfectly fine experience entering the theatre. However, they limit the size of the purse you can bring in, even tho they look inside. They have a box like at the airport. My friend's purse fit, but then some a**hole decided to measure it with a tape and told her it couldn't come in. Then she was hassled by an usher because she made it back just as the lights were dimming. On top of that, if you exit the theatre, you will not be allowed back in!!!!
Great venue, acoustics are second to none AND Michael MacDonald!
Awesome Veteran's Salute on Veteran's Day with our children of The Lee County Schools!!!!
A concert venue on the grounds of FSW College. I saw the Righteous Brothers; it was a great show. The hall is located just off the bridge to Cape Coral, so it is very easy to get to
Everything was wonderful except we we're all freezing. What was the name of the man on stage who welcomed us?
We went to see The Nutcracker, and I would just reccomend spending the extra money to go somewhere else if you are looking for something more 'professional' in a sense. This was a great family friendly version and everyone still did a great job.
Omg, took my mom and her knee problems and BBM's stairs being so steep. I didnt know we were going to make it to our seats.
This place has dangerous steep stairs. Great place, but I see all kinds of people struggling with the stairs
Just saw Anastasia absolutely love it seen other shows there for love seeing shows and performances there just has a nice elegance about the property the staff there is always professional and always courteous this is Jeffrey one of the places you should go see your show
They keep the place like a meat locker! Staff is aware, could not go to my car before the show to get a jacket as they have a no re-entry policy. They don t tell you at this policy when you re going through bag check . Even though my teeth were chattering and I was in obvious discomfort they would not let me out to get a jacket and they were really snotty about it . Absolutely ridiculous, I had my ticket there was plenty of time to go through bag check again . Unreasonable and made for a truly unpleasant experience!!
Really nice College performing hall and Les Miserables was an amazing and professional musical
Beautiful concert hall, very friendly staff, please do not drink the cappuccino, then you are under sugar shock .. all in all, a very nice concert experience!
We were really looking forward to our first visit to Barbara Mann and to seeing Daugherty. The show began a there were super bright strobes on the stage at eye level blinding us every 10 seconds and when Chris Daughtry began singing we couldn't hear any clarity with the lyrics as he was singing through so much distortion. We couldn't deal with what was torture and got up to leave and as we headed towards the lobby door we noticed that the sound mixing board was located at the far left back corner under the balcony, which if you know anything about sound mixing couldn't be more ubsurd. We've been to many concerts around the country and have never seen the soundboards located anywhere other than in the middle of stage and halfway back. We spent a lot to have 10th row center floor seats which ultimately was as bad as listening to a coffee grinder. We feel bad for Daughtery and will never return to this theater
