Great view of the stage from anywhere and good sound. Comfortable seating, nice selection at concession. Long lines for ladies restroom. Bags checked on way in and no re-entry after arrival (i.e. no smoking).

We bought tickets for the "Phantom of the Opera" January 27th performance at a cost of $223, and were utterly turned off. After the 45 minute drive from Naples to Fort Myers, we arrived about 20 minutes before curtain time. The scene is the parking lot was chaotic. People and cars racing around looking for parking of which there was none, zero, zilch. We drove around for about 20 minutes and returned home, tickets in pocket.
The next day I contacted the theater and was told "no returns of any kind, ever". In other words, tough luck, mister!!! But a theater without parking is antiquated, and basically without an absolutely essential service in this world, I pointed out,..... to no avail..
I'll never go there again. Stay away......it's a bad deal.

Went there for a concert. Venue was great. Spacious, elegant, very organized & clean, bathrooms included.
Only complaint I had & I really don't know if it was their job or not but the event was sold out & I was expecting, since they sell per seat, was an informative (at least a piece of paper) of some sort. The whole show I was clueless to who was performing & what. Other than that it was good.

New to Fort Myers, and saw Lion King yesterday!! As a former season ticket holder back home I was so excited to experience my new art center. The building had renovations and walking in was unclear and muddy. After soiling my heels I make it to the door. The first person I experienced was this short blonde ponytailed security women, and she was so ridiculously wretched. The unprofessional and rude attitude she displayed solely to me was so shameful. I greeted her w a smile and hello, while she ignored me and then snatched my purse quickly from me only to unreasonably stretch my purse over the 'size box'. Can't bring it in, had my husband bring it to the car in the rain. Only to see BIGGER purses than mine when I got in. Much bigger. When I got home I measured my purse. (stretched 13 inches, not stretched how the purse is supposed to sit, 11.) (11x2x6) We continued to our seats and watched the show. The only tickets available were very high. Row PP. First the stairs were questionably steep, and the seats were so uncomfortably close it was humorous. As the show continued so did the temperature. Everyone around us became disrobed and sweaty. The discomfort dramatically increased as the smell became more potent. I will NEVER attend a show at this location again. The lack of security and weapon detection was inexistent. It was uncomfortable, hot and miserable.

A group of us had tickets to Hamilton at Barbara B. Mann. I have never been impressed with the acoustics at this theater, even after renovations years ago.
However I do believe no theater can negatively influence Hamilton! Even in the nosebleed section the performance was wonderful!
It is a very clean theater and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The only thing lacking, which I'm sure is a universal complaint, but moreso in this venue, is the number of restrooms. I have never seen a theater such as this with such poor accommodations.
While I do not frequent Barbara B. Mann often, for this performance I give it 4 stars.

Great place to see a show. Not a bad seat in the house. Plenty of free and easy access parking on beautiful college campus. Shows are Broadway caliber without the need to travel to NYC. Always a great experience here.

Disappointing experience, arrived 30 min before show starts $15 to valet park, went upstairs to the bar, although it looks open, no sign to say it wasn t open, light on and full of beer but it wasn t open, we went back downstairs stood in line for 10 mins when it was our turn they told us no credit cards!! Stood in line at the ATM for 10 mins, paid $3.50 atm service charge, then stood in line again 10 mins to buy a $6 dollar beer, I think they may have ex prison officers working there? shining torches into people s eyes who they suspect are recording video on the phone, it was a tribute singer for goodness sake??? not a pleasant experience and not particularly disabled friendly building either, no mention on the ticket it s a physical challenge to reach your seat, unable to climb back up the stairs to the restroom so had to leave early through the lower fire exit.

Went to a comedy show. Comedian and show were great but was ruined by people constantly getting up and moving the whole row throughout the whole show. Also, there were so many phone screens on, it was hard to enjoy the show. Really wish the 6 security guards and ushers would have done somthing. Totally ruined my experince.

Excellent facility, staff and experience. I don't know why there are a couple negative reviews. We attend frequently to this venue and always have a great time. People should be smart enough to know that disliking certain show, should not influence their facility experience. Also, there is adequate parking. Like in any theater, you need to arrive early if you want to park close to the building and walk less.
Chris, one of the managers has been always extremely helpful. Great job BBM..!

Very nice venue. Great size to see a show. Stadium seating is nice and the acoustics are excellent. Why 2 stars? Because the seats are worse then airplane seats and it had to be 80 degrees in there. Very hot, very uncomfortable. It's unlikely I'd go back.

Boy does this place need an upgrade. Only one entrance with two security clogs things.
Small lobby is jammed before doors open to hall.
Seat backs made of wood. Is this the 40s?
Ushers are friendly and knowledgeable.

Went to see Rodney Carrington's 2 hour show (7-9 PM). Paid for front row seats, decent show by Rodney but 1 hour into the show and 2 beers, went for 1 more and the bar was closed. Rude people turning you away and then the air conditioning was turned to about 84 degrees an hour into the show. Rodney was decent. BB Mann hall sucked. Probably never going back.

The ballets was totally amazing.! The seating was not so comfortable... There was no poster hanging or nothing on the wall with the theme of the performance to get a picture.. I was expecting a little more ambiance at this ballet it being Christmas and all.
To get a drink was crazy ridiculous a old man that was old and move slower than a snail and they only had one person working up stairs he took 20 minutes for a 8 ounce drink for $8.00 which is about average when you go to concerts or plays.

The performance was great but the seating is extra small. Very tight squeeze you almost sitting in another person's lap. And the lines extra-long. The accommodation was not so good but the performance was spectacular for The Lion King.

Very organized and well executed assistance. Nice spacious areas and the seating format allows to see the stage even from almost every spot in the auditorium. Have been there several times and it has been a great experience every time.

The staff was nice. The facility is very clean. The parking was good. The price of the drinks and food is more than fair. I didn't like the seating for the show that we went to. We saw a concert and it didn't feel like the right room for a concert. I am sure it is a wonderful venue for a sporting event however.
